Just saw Big Business 96-1-15 in Tacoma at the 733 Club, along with Taco' the band and Infinite Flux. They killed the entire crowd dead.Drums also were murdered and bass was beaten beyond recognition.
Yeah they're good, but there's this other little band called Tool that was.. actually IS a Hell of a lot better than these guys.. it's not even close honestly
@@timbibin1301 uh oh, not a tool pigeon. I love and appreciate Tool, but Maynard lost his marbles a looooong time ago brother. You can have tool. I’ll take big bizz and raise you Melvins. I don’t need a guy doing music once a decade in between a wine harvest season
I tried a Grohl for breakfast once ,that's shit was terrible. And anyone could have played drums on that QOTSA record they did it for starpower.there I said it.
I've seen them about every year since I was 18 in 2008... this covid shit fucked everything up,lol... can't wait to see them and the melvins again live..
Awesome video man!!! The Biz always destroys...saw them in a tiny room recently and they blew the fucking roof off the place....See you soon brothers!!
I like rock, been listening all my life. I just can’t say I’ve ever seen a guy play drums like Coady. Non stop hyper speed for an almost an hour. How does he do that ?
Kinda like melodic screaming, which I like (similar to Crowbar and Gojira's occasional vocal styles). They were mentioned in a drum/bass band post on Reddit. Did they always have a guitarist? Been wanting to find bands that only/emphasizes the bass, similar to bands like Om or Royal Blood. Have an idea for a project, even if I can't do shit for a few years.
I just discovered a band called lightning bolt. Dnb duo but very noisey and weird. Look up "lightning bolt - dead cowboy, taicoclub" the energy is unreal
so Mind The Drift was just their 'experimental phase' record? That stuff was one of a kind. Glad to see them back to this soud, but that Mind The Drift stuff was truly something else.
At 30:37 this great band is getting a complete energy flatline from this drowsy crowd. I mean Christ, were quaaludes force fed to attendees of this lame event?

drummer is a beast
Mike Honcho big time beast, from the start just ripping into it!
He’s a pussy. 😎
Most underrated Band on Planet Earth!
Seriously one of the best bands around, especially of the sludgy variety.
Earth-splittingly heavy, without compromising any of the melody or structure. Epic stuff!
jesus christ I love Big Business.
Coady Willis is such a fucking beast :D
and he's a really nice guy, too.
Had there pleasure of big business/Melvins last night in reading. Awesome.

Big Biz is kind of this generation's Mountain
This is so wicked good. Brutally infectious groove, in spite of the impossibility to know to move to it 😊
My friend Jeff from Las Vegas turned me on to this band. He was not wrong. Thank you Jeff, from Las Vegas.
I stood next to their PA at the B-Side benefit in Portland back in '16. Surprisingly didn't have tinnitus afterwards, love these guys.
10:18
"How yall doing out there?"
"I'm getting some!"
"Right on!"
"Yeauh!"
Might be hearing things but I want to believe this is what was said.
These guys must play with MELVINS again. PLEASE!
This version of Guns is fucking Herculean.

Favorite song from them no question
I'll Give 9 People Something to Cry About.

such a great band! highest level ov energy. awesome.
Wenn die Ihren Drummer mal verlieren, werden die nie wieder ein finden, der die Dinger so spielt. Respekt vor dieser kranken Leistung.
Dale Crover
Damn, these guys are friggin fantastic!
I want to express my approval for this performance, but I also don't want to ruin the 666 likes...

18:20 - Battlefields Forever
Best band of the 2000's so far! Love Big Business, have their 3 studio albums on cd, Quadruple Single and Battlefields/Into The Light both on vinyl.
Yeah they're good, but there's this other little band called Tool that was.. actually IS a Hell of a lot better than these guys.. it's not even close honestly

The finale is amazing !
Cody eats Grohl's for breakfast. There I said it.
CODY kicks most drummers asses
@Mark Wright Songs for the deaf was an instant classic to me but i havent got into anything else they did lol. Man... Songs for the Deaf, though. lol
Nice👌
I tried a Grohl for breakfast once ,that's shit was terrible.
And anyone could have played drums on that QOTSA record they did it for starpower.there I said it.
And then he met Grover and it was all over for Dave
Great song and here comes the waterworks great!
Crowd look mesmerised!
Thats insane! I love that band..
Just one of the best bands in a long fuckin’ time.
And this was a great fuckin set

Coady is such a beast.
This band is awesome! Not trying to compare them, but do the vocals remind anyone else of old Blackie Lawless/wasp?
Crowd looks like my co workers when I play this lol
When drummers talk about finding the "pocket".. it's cody.. cody is the "pocket"
I fucking love this band
Just bought tix to see them 3/10 @ the Hemlock in SF. Psyched!
I was at that show...classic times.
Просто НЕТ СЛОВ !!!!! SUPERRRRRRRRRRRRR

I still want one of those thrones/Zardoz shirts. One of life's regrets.
Awesome video man!!! The Biz always destroys...saw them in a tiny room recently and they blew the fucking roof off the place....See you soon brothers!!
Put waterworks on at any house party, get that shit started right.
I got to hear them play another fourth of july ruined on july 4, 2007.. that is rand and that is all.

jesus shit, this is the only pro-shot big business video i've ever seen.
I like rock, been listening all my life. I just can’t say I’ve ever seen a guy play drums like Coady. Non stop hyper speed for an almost an hour. How does he do that ?
I'm in that crowd somewhere, look for me!

Yep ! but it's a surprise (more than one actually) !

So good!! Guitarist is in another great band called 400 Blows, check em out.

@@L0ngfellow9 yep. Those two are wild. Saw them at FYF in 2012 and they were insanely good. Felt like I wash high watching them perform.
@@L0ngfellow9 Saw LB in a small room, if you didn't have ear protection you probably shaved a few years off your hearing!
I heard he dabbled in the witchcraft.

holy fuck these guys are good.
footnote:, I may not be gay but I would let that drummer fuck the hell out of me for a few hours of drum lessons.
Could someone post the song list please?
sounds like a 43 minute echo of something that needed to be said but never was..
At 30:37 this great band is getting a complete energy flatline from this drowsy crowd. I mean Christ, were quaaludes force fed to attendees of this lame event?
Holy fuck what are the dimensions on those drums!?
Not sure but Cody is a tiny dude so his drums and sticks look bigger than they are.
Hole E Shi T
This kicks fucking ass
ok...who are the 3 members of the "My Little Pony" Fan Club?
Jared Warren
Scott Martin
Coady Willis
I'd love to see Matt pike do a stint in BB

8:56 AHHHHH!!!!!
in the song grounds for divorce is he singing: "back to life" or "thats a lie" ?
That's a lie.
"Thats a lie." I always thought it was "Back to life" as well.
"That tonight" is the lyric.
I always thought it was "better tonight" lol
