In actual reality, K-Pop isn't held as high of a regard as you'd think within the general Korean public. Idols are actually considered "2nd-rate" in comparison to Korean movie stars in terms of popularity.
@렌Ren This doesn't apply as much to Solar and (especially) Hwasa. Hwasa is the definition of a first rate celebrity in Korea
@@exessen1684 Of course, but very few idol groups break out of the stigma. Having solo activities outside of music and group promotions help a lot, and Hwasa has definitely established her career beyond Mamamoo.

Wheein is REALLY shy and she actually thought about quitting the entertainment industry. She doesn't like being on camera, she's not suited to Idol life like the other members are. But we are SO GLAD that she has stuck with it! She's AWESOME!
I hope you get to watch more of their stuff! I enjoyed how detailed you were on reading their profiles but I feel like it represents like 1% of their actual personalities because so much info is out of date/irrelevant. They are all soloists alongside the group music so you could literally start anywhere.

Moomoo is from "moo", which means radish in Korean. The fans themselves picked the name after they started showing up to Mamamoo concerts carrying actual radishes. Their light stick resembles a Korean radish.
Solar and Moonbyul are most likely in a relationship with each other. They even picked their own ship name, Yongkong Byulkong, from the Korean words for "lovey dovey", alkongdalkong, but the fans' ship name for them is MoonSun. Mentioning Eric Nam around Moonbyul will get you a deathstare like you would not believe. Solar's last solo album included a love song to Moonbyul, called Zinggle Zinggle.
Solar has her own TH-cam channel called Solarsido, and produces at least one video a week. Solar finally got the starring role in a musical like she always wanted; it's called Mata Hari, and she got pretty much rave reviews, even from her costars, who weren't expecting a lot. Moonbyul now has her own TH-cam channel, too, and does a lot of day trips in an RV with other girls. Moonbyul has her own radio show in which she interviews a different girl group every week, so she's in lesbian heaven. Wheein has been producing more content lately for her channel, mostly vlogs; Hwasa has a channel but rarely posts.
Favorite song: Decalcomanie; it's probably shorter to mention which songs I DON'T like than to mention all the ones I do... I don't care for Egotistic, Aya, I Miss You, or Where Are We Now; I only like the rock version of Gogobebe, not the original version; and I only like the new version of Ah Oop, not the original. I even like Sky Sky, which most Mamamoo fans find anathema because of its cutesy concept, which is utterly alien to Mamamoo. But if you ignore the video and just listen to the song, it's not bad.

the things with Solar and Eric Nam is not funny and cute like you think, things was quite negative even until now. Eric Nam 's fandom had done some hateful things, and Mamamoo fandom is basicly done with him and his fandom
Actually moomoos are not "done with him", he's a sweet guy and did nothing wrong. He and Solar did a tv show and that's it. Some of the people in his fandom are to blame, there's always bad apples and they sent a lot of hate to Solar.
But it wasn't one-sided, he received a lot of hate as well and both got traumatized by it. I was so messed up, no one deserves this :(

Moo moo is one of some tame fandom out there, and Mamamoo - Solar spoke up herself about this problem, after that Moo moo showed understanding and listened to her. But Eric Nam and his fandom is not the same, he is not doing anything wrong, but he is not called out some bad action of his fandom too, so his fandom just didn’t care and gone wild. That’s why Moomoo is stay away from Eric Nam and his fandom

@@mby9707 sorry but he did called out several times, so did Solar. I'm a moomoo as well but it's unfair to say it was only his fandom, they talked about it several times over the years and people can't seem to let it go.

I suggest not doing 'Where Are We Now' just yet. Get a feel for the group first. WAWN was kind of a celebration because they made it to seven years as a group. It's important to know what they went through in those seven years before seeing that one. After finding out about their journey, get ready and bring the tissues with you when you watch it. :)
