Good morning, excellent video to watch over breakfast. Sounds like one set has a “diesel” horn and one has a “steam” whistle. Like you said, gives each its own character.

You are right John. The one does have a diesel sounding horn, the other has the steam whistle thats in my B28 and B6 steam switchers.

Hi Bob. Greetings from Scotland. Most of our trains here use catenary. May I suggest to solve your problem at the bridge you install the overhead wire. Let the pantographs run on the catenary wire and when the wire nears the bridge just mount it lower and watch the pantographs slide down below the obstruction on the bridge. Another project for you and fun to watch once it is installed.
    Douglas

Thank you for watching and glad to hear you are from Scotland. Welcome aboard. For now I removed the first crossbeam on either side; its not noticeable. I am going to add catenary system to the inside loop. Great suggestion, thank you! I will implement it when I make the addition..

Thanks for a very interesting video again, Bob. The background details about the MP54's was great to know. I had no idea they were in service so long. Also good to know some are still used for excursion trips. Have those been refitted with diesel motors? Nice to see 2501 again as well. A really striking passenger train. Sounds like you've got a busy summer ahead, so stay safe.

Thank you Tom. Yes it kicks off with Reading 2102, then I go to Clifton Forge to spend three days with 614, then back home with day trips to both New Hope and Black River and Western.

Thank you for watching, always much appreciated. The PRR Mu's kinda have a nostalgic place in railroading.

Hi Bob, I don't recall if you mentioned who made these. Guessing MTH. Either way they are very cool to watch!

Hey Randy, I was wondering the same thing, K Line made some, then lionel sued them out of existence, then it was K Line by lionel, then lionel made some as did MTH, wiley poor had Lackawanna MU cars by k line. Sweet cats I must say.

Hi Randy thank you for watching. They are in fact MTH models. Ive had them for quite awhile. They run fantastic. I actually just had both fully serviced and had BCR put in both.

What product(s) did you use on your basement outside walls?

I have 8 LED's that are mounted on the bottom of table legs shining up. And the blue is BEHR paint from Home Depot. Mu walls are cinderblock. Thanks for watching..Heavy coat of paint seals better and fills alot of the cinderblock so it looks solid.
