Well done. I wired my large layout this way and it’s amazing for tracking little issues that pop up. It’s so worth the extra time to do it. Keep the content coming. New subscriber here. Love the hobby!

Great tutorial! Very helpful, thank you! I saw a video from Mr. Muffin that he did on block wiring but, it is nice to actually visually see it and how it works! Keep it up! I'm a new subscriber!

Really enjoying these kinds of videos, they're very simple but, informative.
I'm currently in the process of building a ceiling/shelf layout for myself and these kinds of videos are really helpful, as I've never had anything besides floor layouts.
As you continue to wire more of the layout, how do you go about cable management?

For wiring, I try to keep it tidy as I go. I like to drill separate holes through the 2x4's for each run, just large enough for the wires to go through and not allow to much slop. I try to roadmap the runs as best as I can to keep them all in an order and easy to trace. It starts to get messy with accessory and switch wiring and usually ends up looking a bit "busy".
