Ghost can’t kill Tariq. Point Black period. It has to be the other way around. As much as we hate Ghost, we have to remember his plans in the beginning of the series. He really wanted to get out the game and go legit. Remember how much Tasha protested that move in a selfish attempt to “keep her fine ass in Gucci and Gold”. He really wanted to do what was right for his family. He would never kill him. He is terribly selfish and narcissistic as you stated. Everyone is mad at Tariq but y’all gotta remember, a child isn’t gonna follow what you SAY, they are gonna follow what you DO. Actions speak way louder than words. You cannot tell a child not to do something that you do for a living, how does that work? Y’all mad at Tariq for wanting to be a drug dealing murderer but that’s all he sees around him. Tommy, Ghost, and Tasha have all lived that life and still currently live it. The only innocent adult he ever knew was Shawn and he got clipped a long time ago. It’s interesting to note that Tariq and Raina were twins. They are like two sides of the same coin. Raina died because of the lives her parents lived and Riq is entering into a dangerous world because of the lives his parents lived: who has it worse? Neither. Both their lives are over in one way or another. The only one who seems to be safe from the impact of Tasha and Ghost is Yas, and I’m assuming that’s because she’s always with the grandmother, smh!!! The child always pays for the sins of the father. It’s so sad but it’s so so true. Power is a lot about the relationships In broken families. Tommy, Kanan, Ghost, and now their kids, all come from homes that have broken parent child relationships. And power explores the mental effects those broken relationships have on us. Tariq is like a lot of us, sometimes we become the things our parents were, liars, cheaters, drunks, manipulators, etc. without even realizing it. Just in his case, he became something more drastic: a murderer and drug dealer.

She didnt communicate with Ghost about it like she should've and the only reason Tariq didnt die is b/c Kanan kept his word to him and the cops didnt accidentally pop Tariq in the crossfire.
