Thanks for uploading! I was just checking out snow blowers and snow shovels of different sizes and this helps narrow down what makes the most sense for me. I don’t have a driveway but I do have a garage and a public alley, and that’s usually the biggest challenge when shoveling.

I love that you reviewed this. I'm a manager at HD and have been eyeing this. It seems perfect for decks and small driveways.

Having lived up north, and in the middle US, and now , kinda the south, ive experienced all kinds of shoveling snow. We didnt get our first thrower until i was 17. When on my own my first home i did nothing but shovel when it snowed. Where i am now its unpredictable,so between 2 or 3 inches, to 16 inch snows can and have happened. Some wet, some not so. Over the years ive gotten the job done with shovels, but 10 years ago i got my own Plug In Electric Snow thrower, i wont mention the brand, but it has a 12 inch deep capacity and 16" width. Sooo much easier on the 4" and deeper snows. However i still need to shovel areas of this home , walks and close to the front because manoeuvering the thrower is difficult in tighter areas, and that forces some "throwing into the wind" which should never be done. My recent purchase of the battery powered mini thrower as you have here, makes the tight areas, and walkways much quicker, easier to do. If the snow is shallow enough, i will use this thrower for more area, as its just way easier than getting the bigger plug in electric thrower out. And it works well for that task.
A thrower or shovel tip for those out there. If there is No Wind blowing , you can throw the snow on each side of a drive , by starting in the middle, and work your way out. But usually there is some north winds, so if your drive is east, west, behin throwing from the north side, blowing south, but run the length east, west in long rows, so you dont throw at the cleared area, or the wind just covers it back over. Use the wind at your back, and blow away from you when possible. If you still shovel, go down the center with one or two push rows, then starting in the center , push right to the edge, then go back to center and push left to the edge, doing half the drive width in each stripe across the drive working your way down. Faster, easier less lifting snow, except at the edge to spread out the snow.
And save yourself big problems whether you shovel or throw snow with a machine... NEVER drive on the snow before you clear the drive. It just compacts two lines that make it hard to move those stripes. Even if its 6am and your headed to work, run your machine or shovel where your tires would go before heading out. You'll thank me later for that. 😂.
This small battery thrower is great when you're older, like me now, less lifting snow, less chance for the old ticker to blow up on you. 😆
Be safe. Work smart, stay warm.

You might want to try the Toro Power Curve 18 in electric snow blower. It is corded, but it can make easy work of a driveway.

After seeing your video ill stick with my snow blower. How much time did it take you to do your driveway? How many batteries did you have to buy and what was the total cost? thanks for the video.

If I had a driveway like yours then I'd just get the EV snowblower. Seems too small to really make an impact, maybe just for patio's and decks. Then again, I love the pusher style snow shovels that I don't have to lift very often.

The price is way too high for my needs, totally not worth it. If I lived somewhere that got more snow, maybe.

That's kind of the point of these smaller battery powered throwers. They are NOT the 600 dollars of a serious snow thrower, but work well for smaller snows, and smaller drives, so you don't have to get the shovel out.
They can be put away after just a few uses and no guilt or maintaining of a costly gas or large electric machine.@@theaverageev

It I a perfect for 2, 3,4 inch stuff. I 2 awesome Hondas, for 2,3,4 inches I shovel/push the snow in a long line which could pile up to 6 to 8 inches. Then I pull out my Honda to throw the pile of the snow way out. This could be helpful for the lighter stuff instead of pushing the shovel

Are moving parts made of plastic? Because even for big 30'' gas ICE machines a small stone can damage any plastic part easily.
I've seen a lot of work done by you... not sure it's much better than using a normal showel.
Less stress for your back - maybe more for your arms.

It is plastic and held up very well. My driveway needs to be redone, so it should be even better for those with well maintained driveways.

@@theaverageev Probably it's more about foreign objects like pieces of wire, gravel, steel rods and so on.
And hard snow and ice on it.
Anyway, thank you for testing someting new for many, I suppose.
