    Can you make a video on design of the model as well, like from the start?

    do you know how to give altitude to this re-entry vehicle on fluent/cfx?

    Can you work on the same case for high altitude like 80km with ambient pressure value ~1 pascal

    Hi, I got an error, The ANSYS CFX solver exited with return code 1, not result has been saved. Do you know why? BTW, I just did this simulation step by step following your video.

      Hi Lucas, difficult to tell without knowing the error. "ANSYS CFX solver exited with return code 1" does not tell anything. Check the out file for more information.

    Can we change the re-entry angle of the spacecraft? If so, please explain how.

    • @atifmasood682
      @atifmasood682  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can by changing only the angle of the spacecraft around its local axis. Of course you will have to remesh it before running the simulations again.

    Why did you input the relative pressure 0 Pa? maybe it has to be the atmospheric pressure 1 atm.

    • @atifmasood682
      @atifmasood682  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, in CFX relative static pressure 0 means it is 1 atm atmospheric pressure .

    Can you tell me what steps you took for creating animation you show at the starting of the video

    • @atifmasood682

      I used keyframe animation in CFD-Post for creating the animation. I will try to upload a tutorial on this on FetchCFD in coming days detailing the steps.

    Mr. atif masood, thank you so much for making a video on re entry vehicle simulation. it helped me a lot. i have a request that can you please make the same tutorial ( re entry vehicle ) with HYPERSONIC flow conditions in ANSYS CFX with mach number more than 15 at least? Please, there are not much source for hypersonic flow simulations.

    There was a problem importing the mesh from the requested file.
    The importing process reported the following problem:

    Could you please help me?

    why did you choose K-epsilon turbulence model?

    • @atifmasood682
      @atifmasood682  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I chose actually RNG model which is a modified version of k-epsilon model. Reason for that is it is believed to be a good compromise between performance and computer resources.

    will you please help me in simulation of leakage flow due to pressure difference brtween two parallel plates, where one plate is stationary and other one is moving with DYNAMIC MESHING..PLEASE

    • @atifmasood682
      @atifmasood682  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can give it a try. Can you share what you have so far may be on FetchCFD (fetchcfd.com/) and I will have a look at it.

    • @sagarchaudhari8779
      @sagarchaudhari8779 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did it in steady condition (2D)..where both upper and lower plate were kept stationary...plate length 1mm, gap between them 0.03mm (like rectangle of 1mm by 0.03mm)...oil was taken as working fluid, on both side of 1mm length there was pressure difference...and at last i got leakage mass flow rate.....now I need to do same with dynamic or moving meshing, because my lower plate is moving now (2D)
