LOL 12 songs in a day. think about that for a second.... most engineers/bands etc, and I mean professional recording engineers and artists, not amateurs, couldn't get 12 drum tracks in 10-16 hrs down using fucking toontracks. Dave walks in and lays down 15-20 takes and nails it. 12 songs, phenomenal musician. Nowadays everyone leans so heavily on technology its refreshing to see guys still doing it the 'old fashioned' way,, the supposed hard way. Album sounds fucking killer. Dave Lombardo has always gotten his props for slayer, but in reality hes much more than that, hes a real drummers drummer, dude can play anything, severely underrated. Philm kick ass, thanks for the great tunes guys.
The way he hits the cymbals occasionally with the up strokes is just killer, now thats efficiency. Probably been doing it forever but I just really noticed it this vid.
