    I can really appreciate companies building in chest and rib protection like this, I got knocked off my bike by a car last year and got 8 broken ribs, all the other limb protection and helmet did their job just a few grazes and bruises elsewhere

    Could the SeeFlex armour be easily swapped out for Knox Microlock level 2 or some D3O level 2 options? I have the SeeFlex CE2 armour in my Rev'it Trench GTX jacket and honestly hate how hard and stiff it is - it's surprising how something so firm/hard can effectively dissipate the forces encountered in a crash.

    I tried this on at the RevZilla store in the US and loved! Super comfy and felt like it had all the right protection. Wonder if you think it’s good in hot temps - thought I might get it as summer jacket (if you think it’s well vented).

    Would be nice to see these in other colors like white (to better deal with heat). Also, how comfortable is it? Does the inside feel nice against the skin? I have a Knox Urbane mk2 and it a bit scratchy/unrefined inside.

    Hi thanks for the great review
    It's the only review I've seen for this jacket
    I've never worn a mesh jacket before
    I sweat more when I feel uncomfortable moving my body in hot weather
    Is it stretchy compared to 3 seasons of jacats?

  • @airoilcool

    Speaking of sizes, if KNOX Urbane Pro (MK1) in size S is a right amount of tight on me (pretty tight but still not restricting movements or giving me any sort of discomfort or fatigue) what can I expect from Revit Nucleus in size S?

  • @OSR_1
    @OSR_1 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    This looks really good. Can’t take another season with my Urbane Mk2 as it’s too tight and short on the arms despite sizing up by 2 sizes and lacks stretch. Will be giving this a try over the new expensive Tor which doesn’t include chest and rib protection

  • @defylifeadventure
    @defylifeadventure 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    No weight given? Either way it looks far more comfortable than the Knox offerings. The Urbane Pro II I find it particularly rough and scratchy inside, is mostly non-stretch and is heavy for what it is. My only reservation about this Rev'it offering would be the zip. The Urbane zip is already unprotected at the neckline and can cause discomfort. This is lower, but also seems to not be backed by any material to improve comfort.

    Where I always found the Knox offerings to fit a broad-shouldered athletic body too tight, I find this one runs almost a bit generous. Far more of a streamlined mesh jacket then a true "base layer" cut, since most of the material is a non-stretchy 3d mesh.

    • @mohammedthagafi
      @mohammedthagafi 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      The Proteus is basically just an armor carrying base layer with no abrasion resistance, so you MUST layer an abrasion resistant top (jacket or else).
      The Nucleus is a CE AA certified abrasion resistant garment that also carries your armor, so it can be worn alone in hot days, and layer on top of it when it gets cold.
      I’d suggest you read or watch videos about ( motorcycle safety gear) if you’re new to motorcycling.
