He reminds me so much of family I miss-28 aunts and uncles, all gone, as well as my parents-my greatest generation has moved on to the next life-God rest their souls.
Pat was a funny guy. Back around l989 i bought this record this album shown here " Our Hero,Pat Cooper.". A few weeks later i was having a meal in "Mario The Baker," Italian restaurant in Sunrise, Fla with my platonic friend, Richie. I kept telling him that the man at another table looked so familiar to me, i was sure i knew him from somewhere. Richie asked the waitress to ask the man who he was, because i thought i knew him. He told her, and she came back to tell me. Then he came over to our table and made a joke. He said," thank God, i thought it might be one of my ex- wives. Anyway when i told him that it was a coincidence that i just bought his old record, he asked me to please tell him where i found it because he was having trouble finding his own records. I told him where to go and maybe they could help him. He was in my neighbhood to do a show at a condominium . He was a nice guy. I dont know if he is still with us anymore, but if he is not, RIP , Pat Cooper.🙏⚘💕
it's so funny because it is so true, I remember the monday sandwiches I took to school with leftover meatballs from the day before, that my mom used to make, the oil came out of the paper bag; my friends would bring these little neat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and I was so embarrassed to take out that oily sandwich out of the oily bag, and would skip lunch, not understanding that my sandwich was better then theirs. ahh the olden days!

Well, this is a case like the story of Don Rickles, who was a groundbreaking and brilliant stand up comedian, but they kept trying to give him scripted shows on the networks and putting him in films, but it just didn't work. Pat Cooper is the same situation, where he is a really naturally funny guy on stage, but anytime he's in a scripted show, doing comedy, he's not good. As a serious actor, he is extremely talented. The Seinfeld bit was ad libbed and "Analyze This" was great as well.
