It's not so much an Italian stereotype as a *New York* Italian immigrant caricature. Although exaggerated It's fairly accurate. But Italians speaking English not only do not sound like this, you might not know where they are from elsewhere in Europe or further abroad.

Networks have already banned replays of SNL’s Sabra Price is Right because of the Israeli stereotypes. “It has Sony guts!” Unless something changes, these skits will be cancelled too, just like they dropped Shane Gillis for his Asian stereotype skits.

@@desmond-hawkins I mean, it's possible she wrote it, or maybe collaborated on it, but it's not "body horror comedy," the premise and execution were rather straightforward traditional overall (all good), and she's been the center of sketches she didn't write.

This happened to me while I was pregnant here… Italians were still overflowing with compliments and kisses, but the compliments were about how happy and healthy i looked and the kisses were on my head instead of my cheeks, it was kind of adorable to be honest.
Italian Kenan had me running to the bathroom coughing and dying. Caught me off guard. 🤣 Thanks for staying on SNL, Kenan. It would collapse without you, and we ALL KNOW THISSSSSSS. 🥰

@@severeconstipation. I went to one a few years ago with my very beautiful sister and the waiter literally started kissing her hand and then all the way up her arm like Pepe le fucking Pew! I didn’t even know where to look. He stood with his back to me staring at my sister the entire time, even when I was ordering. 😠
I realise all Italian waiters aren’t like this and it’s a complete stereotype, but for me it’s one that was familiar due to a crappy experience. (Oh, and it’s definitely not just Italian waiters I’ve experienced this with. If only. 😩)
