As a kid from RI I only heard Zink when the Celtics played at the Spectrum but even from the TV I found him entertaining.

Anyone who grew up in an Italian family (like me) knows that listening to Pat Cooper made you think he'd been peeking in your windows and using what he saw in his act. :-D

He reminds me so much of family I miss-28 aunts and uncles, all gone, as well as my parents-my greatest generation has moved on to the next life-God rest their souls.

Pat was a funny guy. Back around l989 i bought this record this album shown here " Our Hero,Pat Cooper.". A few weeks later i was having a meal in "Mario The Baker," Italian restaurant in Sunrise, Fla with my platonic friend, Richie. I kept telling him that the man at another table looked so familiar to me, i was sure i knew him from somewhere. Richie asked the waitress to ask the man who he was, because i thought i knew him. He told her, and she came back to tell me. Then he came over to our table and made a joke. He said," thank God, i thought it might be one of my ex- wives. Anyway when i told him that it was a coincidence that i just bought his old record, he asked me to please tell him where i found it because he was having trouble finding his own records. I told him where to go and maybe they could help him. He was in my neighbhood to do a show at a condominium . He was a nice guy. I dont know if he is still with us anymore, but if he is not, RIP , Pat Cooper.🙏⚘💕

what album is the jokes about the jewish people buying the prune juice. now you know what moses said let my people go 😁 i bought 3 of his old albums already and i cant find the ones my dad use to play. also the bit about the polish guys in trouble in new york. one said hey u dial 9 eleven. he said i tried but theres no eleven on the phone. he says bachela u should of tried 7 and 4 you would of got it. lol. anybody know which album this was on? thanks

Pat Cooper isn't funny anymore and he is typical of older Italians who still complain about how it was and how difficult it was for him to grow up in a changing world.He should be grateful he made it and when he dies he'll best be remembered for his frustrated diatribes over stupid crap we all go through. Fuckin' pain in the ass and always was and still is.🖕🖕

After his stint on Howard Stern I knew of this guy and hated him immediately. His ranting on that show where he tore into his mother and kids made me want to puke. He's a crazy vicious man.

Not funny. I find you to be an embarrassment to Italian-Americans. All you do is make a fortune re-inforcing negative ethnic stereotypes. No other ethic group does that, and "your jokes" are turned around against us by WASP world. Yeah, that is usually why we are treated like crap in business, and are hurt economically.
