Ah sweet how was the snow?
I actually just left my home yesterday and been 2 days on the road driving north to start our second season filming.
I post daily stories on insta if you’re interested in checking the adventure.
Hopefully will get our first episode out within the next 2 weeks 🤙
I’m 45 mins in so far, but this is quality content! Shredding in Japan is definitely on the list!

Ah cheers man. It’s really means a lot to hear such great feedback. This was our first time making these kind of episodes and I just decided to put them all together in a big binge video.
This season will film season 2 and try and upload weekly episodes. So hope we can keep improving.
No plan and just following the snowstorm whilst taking client bookings along the way 🤙

Some really first rate, professional work. Would have liked to have seen longer runs and a WHOLE LOT LESS snowboards, but that's just me.
Absolutely! This was our first season filming such a series so definitely big learning curve. Do you mean less snowboards and more skiing? Longer runs in the segments or like a top to bottom of the runs kind of thing... We starting season 2 in 2 weeks so open to suggestions 🤙
@@JapanSnowPhotographer Yo, it's always nice when someone is looking for personal feedback. Yes, less snowboards and more skiing. And longer runs in the segments, maybe more face-shots. And, after a couple of minutes or so, I think people get what's happening with the van, my suggestion would be a little more pace, again, just my 2 cents. There's a guy out of Utah doing something similar you might look at. Search Lucas Cantania. Cheers
@@rickden8362 Cheers man! Ah yeh Im subscribed to him. Nice style. Last season we were sponsored by a Snowboard brand so done a lot of content for them thats why we had snowboarding shots haha. I ski too but I only telemark ski so might do more this season. This season will be abit different as got alot of photo bookings come though so probably will be a mixture of them footage in the episodes
Do you have recommendations for weather apps or maps you guys used for tracking storms?
Heading to Hokkaido in February and doing a roadtrip for a lot of these resorts.
Yeh for sure 👍 I use windy app and always use the weather radar which is very accurate. Although Japan is a very maritime environment so all can change with the winds. Good to keep eye on.
Website I use snow forecast and here in Japan it pretty much under estimates the snow which is awesome 😯

Really enjoyed the series, gave a great look at some of the smaller resorts I haven't been able to get good info of otherwise. The vlog style along with skiing/riding and your photography interspersed was a really unique way to share your experiences. You and the your homies look like an awesome group!
@@chrisoshiro54 Ah cheers for such nice feedback. That's exactly what we were aiming for. I get bored watching just snowboard/ski videos so wanted to create something more engaging but not take it too serious. Adding the photos is a way to show off my business here in Japan too 😀
