Steve takes us on a journey throughout his career from youth days at Arsenal’s academy up until the glory days where him and Crouchy linked up at Stoke.
We get some surprising insights into Steve’s moonlighting career as a part time rapper, as well as a very awkward encounter in the house of Jose Mourinho before he was awarded the coveted number 9 jersey during his spell at Stamford Bridge.

@@AManCalledDutch I don’t think people hate him, he seems like a nice bloke, but he just doesn’t fit into the podcast for some people.
@@AManCalledDutch Tough coming in for Tom as well, who basically set the tone and directed how the pods went with his questions and expereince. And he was mates with Crouch beforehand (or helped with the book anyway). Whilst now we have a stats guy.. which leaves Chris to be the "lead". Chris is much more comfortable being a solid number 2 (ha).

Despite the way it ended hes still a Reading legend. The promotion season and nearly getting to Europe first year in the Prem was one of the most fun periods!
Glad he still has a soft spot for the club, one of the rare blips of the Coppell era was letting him go on a free & not tying him down sooner after the 106 season. Still, good times!
