Diamond Select Booth Tour | NYCC 2019!

- Here's a full booth tour of the Diamond Select and Gentle Giant booth at New York Comic Con 2019! This NYCC 2019 booth featured both Marvel and DC comics collectibles and statues, as well as Star Wars, Godzilla, Mortal Kombat, Rocketeer, and lots more. The standout pieces from this booth was the line of 1/2 scale busts, including the Avengers Hulk, Captain America, Rocket, Thanos, and Wolverine.

Uuuuu taht ice man statue looks incredibly good, just like an art piece. I have no idea about the franchise itself, but I could imagine myself buying a statue like this, just to decorate the house.

Diamond select is the best statue line out there , you get quality but reasonably priced . That juggernaut is 200. Sideshow one is 1300. And that beautiful ice man is only 150.

I was SUPER disappointed that absolutely none these companies put forth an effort at C2E2 last year.
The ones you didn't know was Disney's attempt at a big budget star wars ,fans have mixed feelings on it ,I saw it in the theatre when it came out if you are a late 70s /early 80s born in the new wave of sci fi it is dear to a lot of those kids ,fun but basically failed for what it was trying to capture,but...the crazy end I won't spoil it but that end!!??check it out!!!

I am sorry but please please read the cards next time. You totally messed up on so many characters. Please play video games, read manga and watch anime more so you can know the name of the characters. COME ON BATMAN PLAYING WITH BALL OF YARN.
Very nice collection. A shame that you are going through all exhibition so quick. Is very hard to follow and a waist of time. Either you show the characters or not, but you need to pause more. Some were ok, but others took 1 sec.
Sorry about that. I only had about an hour to film before the general public were allowed in, which then makes it much harder to film. So I was rushing to get things done.
Statues of your fav hero are not so hard to understand in moderation, but the busts are what confuse me. Keeping a bust of a fictional character, pretty damned geeky. Do geeks buy them because they are simply cheaper than the statue they couldn't afford?
They are usually cheaper and can take up less space. But I think some people just like busts anyway. There's a fair demand for life sized busts even.
@@ItsSiskoI want to say, 'Well, why don't they sell arms and feet too?' Or maybe they could buy their heroes in installments, a piece at a time!... A bust is supposed to be something that gives a reasonably sized likeness of a person held in high esteem for their achievements and contribution to society. 'Hey look! He's honoring Lincoln' or Hey look! He's reached Geek Mode with his bust of Gambit!' The only comic character that at least champions a worthy ideal is Captain America, and even then. If somebody sees my collection of action figures, it's readily appreciated by most. However, I'm betting when somebody comes to your house, and you have a collection of heads, it won't be received the same way.
Those displays need some glass cleaning
