- Here is a full XM Studios Booth Tour of all the DC Comics statues they had on show for New York Comic con 2019! The showstopper piece on display was the huge Justice league vs Darkseid diorama that was a massive 30 inches tall!

Love that Darkseid. Great base and smoke effects. Lobo is tempting even if I don't really collect this scale. Lots of movement and attitude. Long live the main man.
I won't lie, even I've been tempted by the Lobo and I have a hard no 1/6 rule. It's such a great piece. I was surprised by how much I loved the Darkseid. It has an amazing presence and including the damaged parts from the heroes makes it epic!
@@ItsSisko True. I think the best part of that Darkseid piece is the busted up Batman cowl. I mean what's he even doing there? Stay home for once Bruce! Ha. Your videos rock. Keep on keeping on.

Curious about other collectors and how they buy as I don’t want to start something and then go on the opposite direction. I only have two pieces Thanos Bust and Queen WW on order. No statues yet

There are a few anime figures here so I'll do my best to film them. There's not nearly as many as at Wonderfest though.
Not even a Lobo fan, but that statue is dope af. The other statues imo that were amazing are Darkseid vs JL, both Harleys and the Samurai Robin. Never thought I would be interested in a Robin statue. Very cool pieces, great video and ty!!!

I m not a Darkseid (nor Thanos) fan.. but that piece at the start of the video is great looking. Probably the best looking Darkseid I ve seen lately. / I also love that Wonder Woman statue (I might consider it since I am a WW fan)

That little Batman Hush looks cool, but did you see the neck gap on him? Holy Batnip, Batman... Yeah, that Iron Maiden Statue is killer. 🤘
Yeah, I love that Iron Maiden so much! I actually missed the neck seam on the Batman. But since it's the proto it might not have been engineered properly yet. A lot of the statues at the show are the original protos and are actually held together with putty! Most don't even have magnets yet. So hopefully that neck seam gets fixed in production.
@@ItsSisko Oh wow, held up with putty really? I had no idea the proto's were slapped together to that extent. Appreciate the insight.
Yeah some of them are freshly 3D printed. I've seen them glue a statue together at a convention because it wouldn't stay together otherwise!
Holy cow! I really want the Iron Maiden dragon statue, but at 1/4 scale it'll cost an arm or a leg :(
What kinda statue do you enjoy most, Sisko? Fantasy pieces like this one or superheroes?
If I won at the lottery I for sure would have put some Ks beside.. only to be spent for statues.. for decoration purposes in my house 👍😁
As usual my favorite is Lobo with that awesome bike. I wonder though, why the comics made him so conventional looking. Considering he's an advanced Extraterrestrial being.

The character that is beaten up on the base of the Dadksied statue is Adam Strange, recognize his jet pack.
How do these 1/6 scale XM statues size up to 1/4 statues? I ask because I have been looking for a Darkseid statue for a while now that spoke to me. This Darkseid statue by XM Studios "is it." Would you say it would look small and awkward next to a Sideshow PF Superman at 26" height? I understand mass and size plays into it as well, not just height. And that's why I ask. Appreciate your awesome videos as always, Sisko.
The 1/6 scales will definitely look weird next to 1/4 scale statues. There's quite a big difference unfortunately. If you want a Darkseid to display next to the SS Superman I recommend waiting for a 1/4 one that you like.

Batman with a gun doesn’t look so good they should have him using something else. Great video! I love it.
He was originally using batarangs and some people complained that batarangs wouldn't hurt Darkseid, so they changed it to the gun. I would have preferred batarangs personally, but still an awesome piece.

@@ItsSisko My favorite is the XM Robin and Darkseid. I was also very happy to see in person the pieces you previously reviewed, Kong, Skull Island, Godzilla, planet of the apes etc.. Those pieces were awesome. I'm very disappointed SS did not unveil anything new besides cyclops.
Yeah, that Robin took me by surprise. It looks fantastic. I'm pretty disappointed in the Sideshow booth as well, I was hoping for more new pieces. But I'm glad I got to see Gambit and the MK VII, which I loved.

If all you offer is criticism and praise for what other people actually create, your not doing much with your life at all. You are exactly like a food critic who can’t cook except you’re making a life out of off videoing and criticizing other people’s hard work. Not yet, the official pre-order hasn't gone up yet. You can RSVP on specfictionshop if you are interested and you'll get notified once the pre-order is live.

Hmm, that is a tough call. I would say the Justice League vs Darkseid by XM, PS4 Suit Spider-man by PCS, and Ezio by Pure Arts. The Rock by PCS should really be in that top 3 instead of Spider-Man because it is soooo good. But I love me some Spidey ;)
It's Sisko ah great choices! the JL v Darkseid is definitely the top one on my list. I saw the body of the 1/2 scale of Aquaman by Queen looked amazing so far. I don’t think I saw Ezio yet
I just saw the Aquaman body and it does look great. It's a shame they couldn't have the head finished in time. I have a video of Ezio that I will hopefully have up soon.

Yeah, this year was mostly 1/6 scales. I was really hoping to see the Batman Sanity dio finally but it wasn't there. I hope you enjoy the booth tomorrow!
Do you know what type of clay they used to make them. And what paint they used to color them.
These are made out of cold cast porcelain. I'm not sure what paints they use.

They said they are not allowed to say too much about what is happening with the line at this stage. But they will be releasing two new characters over the next two years. I hope that helps!
