Lovely! This gave me the inspiration to make my own! You can get a finer spatter (for snow etc.) using a toothbrush. Dab an old toothbrush onto your paint mixture and then, facing the bristles towards your piece, scrape your thumb over the bristles.

Hi Donna, thank you for your question, without a doubt my favorite rice paper is the Japan Bargain Calligraphy Rice Paper (link is in the description along with all other supplies). It tears easily and simply melts into collage pieces which is primarily what I use my gelli prints for. If I want to create greeting cards, I use Premium HP32 copy paper which is much sturdier and you can cut it...the rice paper is hard to cut accurately, especially with a paper cutter.

Hi Karen, thank you, yes, I always spray varnish my pieces with Winsor Newton Professional Matt Varnish, at least two coats!
