Thank you so much for this video. I’m 74 and started getting back into shorting sports after nearly 30 years. I have been going crazy trying to decide on a rifle. The Franchi is the only one of the manufacturers that checks all the boxes for me that doesn’t seem to have feeding/ ejection issues. The problem was that I couldn’t find any videos showing the accuracy until now. I’m sold on the Franchi now. It’s just a plus that it’s Italian like my grand parents lol
@@ante4331 i only use my .270 on our large Deer mainly Red and Sika. I had a M77 Ruger for over 25 years and i averaged about 100 Deer a year, but it was losing accuracy so i changed it. I don’t do any target shooting with my guns other than set up and zero checks, my .270 is simply a work tool for me and this Franchi shoots great.
@@johnballantyne6853 woah, 100 deer a year? Damn that is alot. Oh so you are more into hunting than shooting at the target. I get it. I guess you been eating deer meat almost every day xDD Non the less impressive number of deer for sure :))
@broadswordballistics thank you for the info, very helpful. I reload 243/223 and wonder what the future holds with a lead ban and copper heads at a pound each ....?? 👍
Its clear the RWS its the better ammo but when you are picking every single empty cartridge from the table and its clear that flyer was a purpose trick, never trust a Austrálians

@@johnballantyne6853 wow thats very good mate. How many rounds do you shoot per month approx? Do you go long range with it?

What price are the lead free 6.5 a box out of interest? 👍
Barnes are around £52 for 20 and S&B were £62 for 20! Federal TSX were the cheapest at £46/20 Hope that helps

Does anyone know of an aftermarket stock that will fit the Horizon - something similar to a GRS Bifrost?
Hallo, Can someone tell me where I can buy magazine 308kl for Franchi horizon?
I believe they now do an 8 round mag, anyone know where to get one?
i check with dealer in Australia. Only 3rounds mag available especially for 270

I've got to ask, what did you cut your finger on? Love the content by the way.
