You can go live every day, and we could all hang out with you and Steve. Can't wait for new videos. love the channel
That's for sure!
Thank you! I will think about that.
Good start with fixing up the forklift. She starts right up. It's a runner. 👍
I love it so far. lol
just get er done ha ha ha hope you get it running the best you can thanks for sharing with us
👍👍👍👍
if you get copper feeds again on spools put a multimeter on both ends of the wire to test the resistance you can use that number to measure the lengths on the wire
Thanks, I've seen videos of people doing that.
I am checking the betting sights to see what the odds are that you will get it functional. My money is on you. Also Steve’s facial expression was priceless when you started the motor.
😂😂😂
I agree with Steve on the Dawn issue, around the world Dawn is used to clean grease of all types.
👍👍👍
I've used cascade dishwasher liquid to flush oil out of my cooling system before ..haven't heard of using dawn
Thanks for the suggestion
There are at least three or four episodes for the restoration of this forklift. It rusts well in Florida too, good luck👍
Thanks!
Hard work nice great god bless you brother 💞
Thank you!
@ProjectShopFl 💖💞☑️👍🏻
The unit before the carburetor is the propane vaporisation unit that usually uses engine coolant so it doesn't freeze 😊
Thanks for the info.
Fuck the compression test, it starts and runs, that means it has enough compression to run. Dont fix it if it aint broke, it is a cheap forklift, not a classic to restore. Fix what has to be fixed and use the shit out of it.
Thats what I plan on doing.
Great video
Thanks!
53 hahahha trade ya.. was 4 when I woke up yesterday with -13 wind chill.
😂😂😂 No thanks. lol
53 is nice you’re crazy man it’s 20 degrees where I’m at and all I need is a hoody and jeans 😂 Ohio weather SUCKS
Wow! I was born in Atlantic City and I don't mis the cold one bit. lol
@ yeah when I get older I think I’ll move south that is if anything will be affordable in my lifetime 😂
Flextape would be a great way to seal and repair that round to oval air tube.
I will look in to getting some
Nice to see ur driving with the parking brake on 😂
😂😂😂 I'm not too bright. lol
@ don’t feel bad I’m not very bright either! All my light bulbs are burnt out
Sounds like you caught a cold. Feel better soon.
I did and thank you.
the electral point copper removal videos .there machines are awesome
Thanks!
best for your radiator woes
Thanks!
We want to see the grinding, rust removal, rewiring…..all of it.
👍👍👍
1 bottle of clr and water in radiater run for a couple days and drain
Thanks for the suggestion
What's the deal with the incinerator? Thought some guy was supposed to pick it up weeks ago? Oh well, at least you have the deposit.
Yea he still owes me 2k and I have not had any response in a month. I sent him a deadline.
The diaphragm on the motor might rotate when loosened. Fit better?
I moved the solenoid
Really. New music.
Yes Really!
Paint it orange and black then stencil Ridgid on the side
😂😂😂
Next thing to buy dump trailer ??
Fix the damn fender on the truck first. 😂
@@eastcoastboy1977 O yeah, that fender is really anoying. And he didn't replace it FOR YEARS.
It's on the list. lol
Take the radiator to a radiator shop. Cost about &120 and it's fixed.
Thanks for the suggestion
You could straithten up these big dents on the frame through those big rusty holes, before welding them up.
Thats what I plan on doing. lol
You already have the makings of a press brake in your workshop.
With a bit of welding, you could easily make a punch and die to fit your stator wrecker as it already has the ability to allow you to change tooling quickly.
Why add more stuff when you have stuff that can be adapted?.
Thanks for the suggestion
Doesn't Prestone or some other antifreeze company make some kind of flush kit that takes care of rust? I seem to recall using one in the past.
I don't know I will look into it.
Yeah the forklifts first job. Get her going.
I love this thing.
Definitely get rid of the dumpster top and put a fresh piece of metal on top.
Thanks for the suggestion
36 years of experience with forklifts big and small, you are right to repair and do some neglected maintenance BUT!!!
You really ... really need to fix the handbrake first, on a forklift it's just as important as a running engine.
You should be able to adjust it by twisting the handle, it might be enough
The wheels are special for a smooth floor, not for the floor you work on, maybe cannibalise the mitsubishi for the chair and the wheels...maybe hoses?.
Those Datsun/Nissans of this model will run forever if you keep some maintenance once in a while.
Thanks! The other forklift is way too big.
Find yourself an old Mustang or a Pinto radiator, that one kinda looks like them.
Thanks for the suggestion
I sure hope those seals rings where rated for propane because hydraulic seals are not rated the same as seals used for gas and propane tanks and could possibly be a safety hazard if are not same rating of seal rings
Better than no seal. LOL
@@brucebradshaw5947 idnk it's about same I think
This is Derek we're talking about. His backup oring is probably toothpaste. Use what yard got or find.
You are right it cracked up and fell apart in a day. lol
@@ProjectShopFl I sorry I was right about that but I am sorry if I sounded kinda like a smart butts because I truly didn't mean to be one at all because I am have a very stressful time in my life right with threats of being homeless because I losen places renting where lived at and truly have to start life over again broke without anything and vechical I had frame completely rusted out and rear end completely snapped on vechical so I truly lost right now
check out the electric point, talk about copper removal asap
Thanks for the suggestion
Mabey it was converted from gas to propane. That would explain the spot for a gas tank and the extra hoses.
Possibly it also has a regular gas gauge
Can of Radiator flush from auto parts.
Thanks for the suggestion
what about a gauge for the propane and other gauges that it needs. and try to find a manual for it ,mabey online
Thanks I am looking for all that
might be able to use a radiator fix place to get that thing up and going ............ just saying it could be cheaper
Thanks for the suggestion
you can put a flat / blunt tip on the air hammer to vibrate the rust out of the radiator.
Thanks for the suggestion
Do you trust Steve to pull the carb and clean it? Do that now.
😂😂😂 With supervision. lol
The "Y" issue you don't like might be crossed hydraulic lines. Just guessing.
I miss spoke it is actually a x pattern and the label says it's the way it comes.
You might be better off finding a service tech company to get the parts for it. It'll be a lot cheaper than going to Nissan or another dealer !
Thanks for the suggestion
Have it recored.
👍👍
53 ?lmao high tamaley 33
😂😂😂
Bro I don't know if you realize but your tires on your trailer are flat
Thanks for the info
Just do it. Don’t tell us.
Ok 👍
Can’t u just cut the roof off and make a new one and weld it back on. ???
At least he could flip it over to prevent water accumulation inside the steel sections.
Possibly
evapo rust from harbour freight your chinese pusher of crap but evapo rust is not chinese made or sold
Thats what I used. I think it worked great
