He was NOT a wise guy in any way he was one of the very best Chicago Jazz musicians of his time ( he's play at the cotton club, Lotti's Pub and many more for years ) and all those Gangsters loved him. EVERYBODY loved my Grandpa.. I'm not gonna mention any last names here on this you tuber, but I was a paper boy to a "pool hall/cigar store" that the fella's use to play cards in.. I was the counter kid. I'd hang around during the games and run drinks, coffees, to the tables in the back room. I was learning guitar, so they'd always take an interest and have me play for them. My guitar was not in very good shape & one day I played an old Leo Sayer song " More than I can Say " and this guy moved close to me and listened, he started cryin.. he asked me what my name was. I told him and he looked at my cheap guitar and that man went downtown got me a Gibson hummingbird guitar. Very nice instrument and in no way cheap. My mother could have NEVER got me that. Those guys was the very BEST part of my childhood and I always felt safest when that corner outside that pool was full of all those big ol cars they drove.. I still have that guitar today. he paid $1,200 back then and it's worth over 2k today! I never had a problem with violent men. It's mean men that always bothered me. I did many years in Menard, Stateville, and Galesburg later on in life. We go down and get comfortable. What does he do? He puts on the Sapranos. Funny guy, but not funny like a clown.

Love that story. These people had to have been borderline suicidal for even thinking they could rob gangsters and get away with it. Sammy taught them a good lesson though.
Sammy “ we don’t need a towel “ gravano lmao
One of the best lines. 🤣
Keep these stories coming Sammy, great work. When you speak, they listen.
"If you like this video, click like" lol he's getting the hang of it
I lived in wood haven Queens and used to go by the club and see these huge men standing around outside. I was a street punk and they use to smile at the things I would do.
*I don't care what you call him, he's an incredible story teller...*
Exactly
Yea the feds thought so too
Exactly!!! He’s fantastic at it!!! Very detailed and keeps your attention the whole time.
Agreed, he's awesome!
And I think every word he speaks is the 100% truth..
Sammy, This message is from Mumbai, India. i love how your stories put pictures in our heads. i loved the whole podcast series. a big thank you and keep going Sammy , Big ups and love , keep going.
I felt that vibe in a sense, can’t even imagine what those guys must of felt when the real deal went down. Wild story, thank you Mr. Bull
Mr. Gravano, Love your stories. My wife is Sicilian (100%). When I first met her I wasn't admired by her family, I got no Italian blood. After a while I grew on them and things were cool cause they saw the love and respect I had for her and them. My father in law one evening pulled a joke on me, we always went down to the family room to watch TV after dinner. This one night he says "tonight we're gonna watch home movies". We go down and get comfortable. What does he do? He puts on the Sapranos. Funny guy, but not funny like a clown.
I liked the "Good Fellas" reference at the end👍🏼.....Tommy "No more Shines Billy..youse was away long time...day didn't go up dare".......👀
But he did amused you
This exactly the type of stories that I like...t.y
I absolutely love your stories, you tell them with real love and words that tell people how real you are. Keep them coming sir.
After 44 years I finally realized as an Italian that "YOUS" IS NOT A WORD....
Atsa Mata for you...
Us Irish say “yous” aswell I think Italians and the Irish are very similar
😆
Wassamattawityou's???!
It took yous a long time to realize that.
I love these stories Sammy I've followed and read you book and documentaries for years keep them coming
Jesus! As soon as Sammy tells me you stay. I would start crying 😭
I listened to this story again after a year ago. It’s such a great story. A wiseman you are Sammy.
exactly the same mate gets better each time 😂
Thx Sammy, I'm dyslexic just like you the way you see the world is exactly how I see it. We think the same thank you for sharing. Every one needs grace from time to time.
I love these stories Sammy keep them coming. The people love Sammy the Bull!!
They should do these stories with reenactments like Charlie Murphy telling stories about Rick James on Chappelle's Show.
Who thought Id find Mr. David Wood Here, I swear in life wed probably chill together- I was a Turntablist for like 17 years, and Rapper, Now Primarily run a studio, working on Modular synthesyzers and such. I literally quit everything i was doing as a Disc Jockey because the Most high had put it on me that i could only serve one master...
I have never been more blessed and i cant even say where half of all of it came from ( JAH /The Lord Obviously but). Love what you do the people you set free, and Your intellect and testimony. I even almost got tricked into Islam, Luckily Ethiopic Orthodox has me held tight. Loks to my ankles..Respect mr Wood. may the Almight GOD BLESS and KEEP your family
''The righteous shall not be moved''
also good idea although Sammy Narrates it pretty well. I wanna say there was a scene from King of New York, Or scarface where he offers the guy a Job after he kills everyone in the room- or Manny does? anyway perhaps that was a Nod to the real events
Most definitely
@@jeffreymaldonado3608 *Wrong man... If you know anything about The Real Rick James from Buffalo, you'd know those were real accounts... The Prince stuff might of been fake though*
It's you!!
I just wanted to say that I really enjoy hearing your stories and MUCH RESPECT to you Sir !! I wanted to show my appreciation while you're alive! Thank You so much for sharing your life!
Sammy this is my new favorite channel
Amazing story Sammy, love hearing these storys about the life and how la cosa nostra should be, thanks sammy take care and keep up the good work
I swear, almost everyone of these great stories has a hidden meaning that I learn from.
Yea. Don't deal from the bottom of the deck when you're playing cards with mobsters.
What hidden meaning? There's none, stop acting like there is. It's quite simple, don't fucking cheat.
Im subscribed Sammy despite whatever is in your past I agree I don’t look down on anyone I lived the grimey life for a while still do in a sense but people are just people everywhere . Any who my father brought me up in this life he took me on trips “ up top “ to the city and to Philly and Baltimore to meet friends with him in the 90s and they used to woah over me like a prince I’ll never forget it and listening to you talk man brings me back to those times . It’s amazing to see you out here talking and reaching people on TH-cam and podcasts bc like it or not the world needs to hear your story and witness people like you . Big Salute to you and all the guys from a young Italian boy . Happy to see the guys that made it out and God bless the ones that didn’t Salute 🇮🇹
My palms sweat just hearing these stories. Sammy got a way with words.
Well leave your Willy alone an then they won't
I wonder how much Sammy made using these guys in other poker games as dealers lol. 😉
Thought the same thing.
Shit loads
I know ... Right
I thought the same thing
Probably had them double raking lol
sending love and respect your way always Mr. Gravano
This low life does not deserve any respect and love. He caused a lot of ppl pain and fear.
@@talalkhalid3122 easy to say from behind your keyboard first off. Your brain is too small to understand his current intentions, I can tell by your disrespect. Go cry to someone who cares about the air you breathe....
@@realgrowing4208 i guess even murderers and thieves have fanboys...Good luck.
@@talalkhalid3122 lmao, its obvious how pathetic your life is I actually feel sorry for you. You spend time watching vids of people you hate, while typing words to comments you dont like... I bet you sucked on your thumb till your were like 12 or something...be honest. Its cool, just dont lie about it if your gonna spend the time to troll. I just killed a couple hours off your life by my comments lol...and I'm not even a hit man LMFAO!
Sammy is THE BEST!!! He has changed my mind about those in “the life”. Tremendous respect!
That’s one hell of a story my man Sammy I enjoyed it can’t wait till you really. Really open up
Sammy, I really like your stories. I was just talking to my dear cousin about the fact that I like mafia movies because they show respect and loyalty to the family. I wouldn’t choose that lifestyle but I also would not talk bad about it either. I just find it fascinating.
Not good people at all. They have no respect or loyalty either.
Great stories! You do get your point across and "accurately". These people "judging" others......
Love the way you narrate a story Mr.Gravano hearing you speak and reliving those accounts in that life of cosa rostra theres no lies in the words you speak godless you
" No, not u, u gonna stay " Lol !
