@@haygo1603 Sextons was much more difficult than Wilko's. Sexton slotted from halfway with the last play of the game with 40+ phases preceding it to get into position. It's the best drop goal ever.
@@robertpirsig5011 As an Englishman, I completely agree. The kick Wilko had he has for breakfast every day, Sexton's was something you practice very rarely absolutely pulled it out of the bag.
Some great memories there, but the biggest most iconic one of all was Sextons drop goal, including the entire 7-8 minutes (not shown here) in the lead up to the kick.
It was an incredibly euphoric moment watching the ball sail over , however , I think a memorable 6 Nations try tops it . Long range tries are just that bit more exhilarating , although I’m happy to admit it’s debatable .
The Six Nations annually brings colour into the grey of early February. Thanks for these lovely reminders of great Saturdays and Sundays in front of the TV. Would like to have seen a few more though from the first 8 years of the 6N.
As an Irish fan, I vividly remember watching the 2018 game against France, and come half time, I'd completely lost hope that we had any chance of overcoming the French defence. Then, from the 60-minute mark onwards, you couldn't drag me away from my TV screen for ANYTHING.....the tension created when the end result is on a knife-edge is one of the many reasons I love this sport
italy-wales 2022, and, as an irish fan and absolute hater of the french (no offence), Dupont holding Hansen off the try line, that sheer will, has got to be there too

That sexton drop goal, considering how far out he was and how much was on the line, has to be one of the best drop goals in rugby history
Joel Stransky? .... Was a great drop goal but not a real pressure cooker moment in my eyes

Sexton’s drop goal is the most clutch moment ever…Not even close.

2023 and I'm still relishing in that moment
I am still traumatized by this drop goal, my heart shattered. It was just silence at home and thinking really hard, I hate the irish
@@blaim2614 at least france put up a good fight.

I’m England here but I absolutely love the way the Irish play. Huge fan! To be fair I probably watch Ireland more than I do England 😂
respect from ireland....
Cheers Robin. The RWC is coming, England always does v well in this, and we flop completely!
That last moment drop goal just broke my heart.....
Nice to see some love for Ireland in these comps for once
My god yeah 🇮🇪🇮🇪
its not the 6 nations without us
doubt that it showed Italy beaten us, italy bet others too but, no, its us like ffs
Outstanding actions and tries ; I'm a French fan of the Irish team, so a special big thanks to Jonathan, Ronan and Tommy !!!
Those phases for the drop goal. Doesnt get better
Should add Capuozzo and the try of Italy against Wales in 2022

Sexton's drop goal after all them passage of plays is defo no. 1
Sexton's drop goal was unbelievable
That was great! The wales Scotland game where the Scottish manager walks away, aha!
Van Der Merwe’s first try at the England vs Scotland game this weekend will soon be added to this list
and the second
Italy vs Wales can join the list now
sexton most points, Bod most trys, and Stockdale most trys in one year, not bad from the lrish ,and it gets better from here people😀
remember watching that Sexton drop goal live.. Christ it was awesome.
Just that drop goal. Il never forget it. The whole lead up to it. My hart
scotland vs england, 38-38 needs to be here
Shane horgans try at the death in Twickenham? 2006 I think.
at Croke park no????
@@seanbonella his try a year later in Dublin was also good, although more icing on the cake than a match winner.
Excellent collection of some brilliant passages of play🎉. Can’t wait for the 2023 Six Nations to deliver yet again!
The Sexton drop goal game, airplane had been in control for most of the game, just didn't score points.
Sexton drop and 100min game are my fav
The 2015 championship should be there, the last day was mad......Championship decided on points difference!!
Maybe too early for your compilation but I would have added Vincent Clerc's late winner try at Croke Park in 2007.
Definitely more exciting than football 😁
No, Wrong. few and far between.
nope
Agreed.. i barely understand rugby but jeez it has me on edge of seat. Every game is so competitive..

How about Heaslip’s try for Ireland against Italy ? After all it did win World try of the year in 2016 and of the decade too!
Good video but where is Dulin’s last minute try against wales in 2021 to keep the dream alive?
Saved the best for last 😆
Elliot daily last minute try on the 75th minute🤔🤔
That "Russel pass" shouldn't have counted through illegal clear out at the ruck. I'm fun at parties
Sure you are 🙄
And vincent clerc try against ireland in 2006 or 2007
The greatest game in 2010 lots of infringements and coming from the side blind refs
not even the french win after 100 minutes against wales...
Check again
This is mostly about Ireland 😂
O gara and sexton all day long
british tv never gives us Irish the credit without being cycnical....grow up like and be nice, yous will never change
Credit for what exactly?
