Thank you for watching! That exact reason is why I wanted to get it because it could easily do an over the shoulder shot when I’m at my desk. It doesn’t give you any type of top down opportunity, but it definitely makes it easier for certain angles.

Thank you for watching! I use the Neewer square quick release plates. I have them on everything I could possibly mount my camera on so that I can quickly jump around when filming.
Great review and yes, the price is steep. I would think with the pro version, there would be more "cage-like" structure around the camera mount to hang a microphone or battery pack. I predict they'll have that in an upgrade soon. What say you sir?

I think it’s possible they’ll expand like that, but I think their main focus is probably going to be increasing the overall payload capacity so that a little bit larger sliders can fit on it. Aside from significant upgrades, they need to address the wheels situation immediately because they are terrible. But I like your idea!
for me, even as someone starting out it might be still worth it, because of all the problems it solves which are keeping me from producing more work. I don't have big chunks of time to work with and would love to take more shots, but all the adjustments with a tripod are holding me back. So for someone like me, it might still be worth it. (I like to go the path of least resistance hahahahah)
I agree completely, if it's not outside the budget. 99% of new creators won't have the budget to justify it, but if they did grab it, it would absolutely help! After four years of YT I have spent so much time adjusting tripods that it's worth it to me!

This stand seems great for out of studio shoots

According to the V3 are supposed to be Plastic. V2 were Metal
