Very cool. I can see this in space on the space station. 😂

Wow. I've never seen such a small board. Thank you for the review.

I like that they are pins. With travel size boards the issue I have is that the checkers are so light they are tossed around while playing and messes up the game. Even the magnetic is not that great. This is really awesome.

Glad to hear it! I think it’s a really cool concept.

Thanks for review! Little pricey. I would pay tops $50 with upgrades. Loving your content.

Enjoy the reviews very much, would like to see higher end boards looked at also.

Thank you! I don’t have anything super high end, but going to review my Artgammon and T&T Gammon Boards soon :)

OK, first, trying VERY (!) hard to say something positive… At best, perhaps a « neat idea » that as a collector, I might want to add to a collection - but I can’t imagine ever playing on a set like that - that is, until I saw the price.
Then, while perhaps a « neat idea » it just looks wrong on pretty much every level, from a flat playing surface that is on the outside rather than the inside, to using « nails » rather than checkers, dice that are WAY too big, being limited to how many checkers on a point, etc, etc.
I get the impression, like some of the « overly artistic » boards you also see, they are made by ‘artists’ rather than « backgammon players », so totally impractical.
Difficult to imagine any situation when you would NEED a board that small - if you are travelling or going to a café, then any of the travel-sized magnetic boards would be way better.

I love the idea of using pegs as checkers, it's "unique" however as you said it doesn't always translate to "practical". If I had money to spare sure I could get a set like this but for the price better get a cribbage board and paint "points" on it.

All valid points! Agree, maybe made more for the artistic license and novelty than practicality. The craftsmanship is nice, but we’re all suckers for checkers. Thanks for watching!

@@serialhobbyistofficial Great conversation here! We're the makers: we are family backgammon players in addition to being artists and makers. We've played on this board hundreds of times in all kinds of locations, from the beach to the bar. It's definitely a functional, travel-sized board. It's great for folks who want to play backgammon outside or spontaneously with family. Thanks for the feedback!
