5 years ago, i fell into a hole esp vids with hope for paw. i adopted a pit bull. fell in love with him from the start. he past away a month ago. never thought my heart would be so broken from a dog. miss him so much. keep up the good work and look foward to many more friends being saved by you guys. thank you

Your dog is irreplaceable, but a new companion brings lots of joy and the need is so great. It’s a beautiful way to pay tribute and honor your loved one’s memory. I tell my new girl about my girl Roxy on the regular. The two of them are so different except that they both are pittie mixes and both love me unconditionally. ❤

Wow! She settled in fast! And she has all those toys. She was so cute as she arranged her toys all around her. And to see her tail up and wagging was a joy to behold. I hope she finds her forever home soon!!!

I have said and hoped to encourage folks to make the monthly small donation. I am retired, on a fixed income, and the monthly donation and there are items in my weekly shopping trolley that show how affordable my donation is. The biggest reward is seeing our donations at work! The actual rescues, the wonderful baths, the blossoming of the animal or animals. One of my favorites is the rescue of Jordan, thrown into a river bed and sitting on a chip wrapped, one leg deliberately maimed past saving. Hope for Paws you guys redeem for humans a lot of the destruction and pain other human inflict including abandoning a creature with no way to comprehend being discarded.

I am a vet tech/farm girl. I have been rescuing for 60+years. I rescued 2 dachshunds 11 years ago. A mother (DeeDee)13 years old and her daughter (Becky)11years old now. Becky was a diabetic and passed away on the 6th of December. Last Monday l rescued/adopted a 1&1/2 year old chihuahua/terrier mix named Trixie Jean. When you lose one it hurts. You can never replace them . But you can open your heart and home to save another one. I love the poem about death "The Rainbow Bridge. I love to think Becky is running, able to see(she was blind)and free from those awful skeeters ( insulin shots).😅
I also last died on a December 6th. It was in 1905. 🙂 I can understand you well. I have also taken in many animals and each one was unique, a soul like no other. I miss a lot of them, but I also think that of course I have then always a place for a new animal soul that can use my care and love and I can use his too. I am grateful for every little animal that spends my current life story on this planet by my side and makes my life more beautiful. They are angels. 🙂💕☀️
