I've been watching since the beginning because of my fascination with French Châteaux, but have become attached to your family in the process. I'm sad that we didn't have more opportunity to get better acquainted with Beth over the years. Even though she wasn't in front of the camera very often, it became obvious that she was a large part of the vlog. You all have done an amazing job rescuing your magnificent home. Dear Carol, Adrian and Beth. 😢 I have watched as you have rebuilt your chateau from the ground up. Rebuilding and clearing out the basement, the floors with new beams, joists and parquet. Adrian your attention to the finest detail in the parquet of the salon and hallway is something to be admired. Carol you have brought the salon back to life with reforming all the minutest detail in the mouldings. Gold is never understated lol. The gardens have been a work in progress and really growing nicely. Carol you will have to plant out a strawberry bed wherever you go so Adrian can try to pinch them. Terry, Ash, Tracey and even Jonathon will miss you. Brocante browsing won't be the same. Please be a see you later not goodbye. I for one would love to see the next place you bring back to life. All y'all entertained me so much through the hard work you have accomplished. My folks used to buy "fixer-uppers" = almost condemned houses here in the USA from the 1950s to the 1990s. They did a lot of hard work, too, but with not really any sense of "style" if you will. They just took properties that everyone else would have bulldozed down to the ground and fixed them into livable homes. I love it that nothing seemed to overwhelm you on your restoration. I do hope y'all keep filming things going on in England. Shucks, as a Texan, y'all could read the "phonebook," and I'd love hearing how you pronounce your words. So yes, I'll come along on your next journeys, which I hope include some more of your restoration talents.

Looking for a new chapter Beth glad this has helped you to graduate my niece just graduated last year she went to Exeter University we are from Canada she loved the UK now been called up to the Bar and started her law practice in the last two months in a small town in sothern ontario just 30 minutes from her 3 Aunts so excited for her ! So the world is yours for the waiting you can share your experiences and challenges so others can learn that hard work is so rewarding ! All y'all entertained me so much through the hard work you have accomplished. My folks used to buy "fixer-uppers" = almost condemned houses here in the USA from the 1950s to the 1990s. They did a lot of hard work, too, but with not really any sense of "style" if you will. They just took properties that everyone else would have bulldozed down to the ground and fixed them into livable homes. I love it that nothing seemed to overwhelm you on your restoration. I do hope y'all keep filming things going on in England. Shucks, as a Texan, y'all could read the "phonebook," and I'd love hearing how you pronounce your words. So yes, I'll come along on your next journeys, which I hope include some more of your restoration talents.
