It’s incredible the amount of land that came with the Chateau. Of course there would have been much more land when the Chateau was built two hundred years ago. Great video Ash.
I looked it up, 10 hectares is about 24 acres, thats a lot of land for the price you paid. You’ve certainly increased the value of your property with all the work you’ve been doing. That large field (acreage), you could lease to a farmer, keep a few cows and not have to worry too much about mowing. We have almost 30 acres, most of it covered in trees, but the parts that are bare, it’s a job keeping it mowed. Continued success with your home, it is certainly becoming a beautiful little piece of paradise, and thanks to all your family and friends who have helped along the way.
I bought a house in France in 2012 with 3/4 acre of land for £68.000. Grew food and had lots of fruit trees on the land, it was a very peaceful life. Only reason I came back to the UK is because I got cancer and I was in France alone with all my family back in the UK. Loved my time in France in the countryside, but value being with family more. Always seems to be the need for family that brings the Brits back home.

To all of you, keep up the amazing work... it's an absolute delight watching your achievements every day ❤❤❤❤❤
Another excellent tour (with maps)! Thanks for taking the time to walk us through your plans. Does Rob get a little house, too😊? Noticed that Patrick seems to have lost weight. I have a wire haired doxie and know how hard it is to keep them slim. Well done, all!
Haha. Thanks Ellen. We cut his feed back but now he helps himself to eggs 🤣🤣🤣
@@chateaudelalacelle Heh, I saw that episode. Dachshunds are sneaky and resourceful.
Thanks for the tour of the grounds awesome to see everything in perspective ❤ love it 💕💕💕
Glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Beautiful property all the old buildings are magnificent so glad you bought it and restoring it with love it will be beautiful but hasn’t lost its charm with age.
If the old farm portion ever comes on the market, I hope you are able to tie the place back together, And an orchard would be a great addition.
Ash, please plant trees along the long drive up to the chateau, do it now while you’re young. It will look beautiful
Wonderful--such a deal. And so glad you are so lovingly restoring it. Now--don't forget about ROB needung as small place to live there as well/ He has so earned it. ♥
Loved the walk around thankyou. it now makes sense.didnt know you had a lake ❤
The property is absolutely beautiful! I am jealous of Paula and Pete having a cottage there! This property was SO worth the investment.
Good for you ! You are so lucky to find such a wonderful place. Enjoy every minute!
Amazing tour. So good to see so much detail and map. Xx
Wow, wonderful tour of your land. Good to hear about some of your ideas. Wishing you all the best in the years to come.
Thank you Ash for the walk around the Chateau property. The land is amazing you have it all a lake, woods, fruit and nut trees, walled garden, formal garden, secret garden, lots of our buildings and a beautiful plan for Pete and Paula’s home ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the tour Terry. That was fun. What a beautiful piece of property. I know you have worked very hard but boy oh boy you're having a lot of fun restoring the buildings and property. Catch you on the next one ❤
That’s Ash (presume Terry was filming). 😊
Oh I'm so sorry! Of course it's Ash I don't know what I was thinking. Sorry Ash I really do know the difference. ❤️
I love this tour . Paula and pete would be so happy there. Family is at the top. Always. Thanks for sharing the future plans .
Thanks Kathi 🥰
I haven't been on this site from the beginning, so I don't know who Paula and Pete are. Could you inform me, please.
I was wondering also.
Thank you for the lovely tour using the drone and maps of different areas it brings it all together just unbelievable. It will be a truly magical luxury place to visit in the years to come so many good ideas with cafe , Gites and of course the chateau itself. It was worth every Euro spent. So happy for you all it was meant to be for a lovely family not forgetting the dogs.
What,a,wonderful video to see it all was breath taking
Thank you 🥰
Thanks Ash!❤
Thanks Carla 🥰
A nice insight into how much further your money goes in France. Need to sort your sound quality out a wee bit though to make even better viewing.
the vision, the planning , the hard work,, just incredible 😁you all should be so proud ,, cheers
You could have a disc golf course on that front parcel! Charge a day fee. You could put in self-storage units where the pigs used to be. That would be regular income with no hassle for you. Get a coffee shop set up in the Chateau so ppl can sit and look out over the garden.
Loved this tour! Also the map really helped. Great job Ash 🥰 🥰 🥰
Thanks for the tour. I’ve only seen the chateau and cottage before.
Thank you Ash for showing the areas I couldn’t get to see, it’s a wonderful place to live and you have definitely done the ideal for you all.
Thanks Kathleen 🥰🥰
Thanks for the tour. Much enjoy following your journey 😊
