With all due respect, as someone who is 27 years old, and watched old school tape of wilt and other 70s-80s legends, and grew up with the old school level of nba in the late 90s and early 2000s, and idolized kobe bryant who was my initial motivation to seriously play ball, even though i was a 320lb 5'5 guy from age 11 till i blossomed to 6'0 230 in beginning of college, i think that most of the league is unqualified to their contracts, and their nba status, in 2024. I think that the league has not been good for at least 6 years now or so All you need to do is shoot 3s and play lackluster defence to get a huge contract, or even get a draft spot on a team. The way the game used to be played is not under question. To me, its a deeper issue of a loss of love for the game of basketball in leui of huge contracts, stats, no championships, and players who would of played 22 years ago, wouldve been in china by year 2, but now, they act like they are MJ because they can shoot a 3 and cheese contracts while winning no rings Its all ego now, no drive to be better or even get to the rim The game has lost its soul due to this stuff Any thoughts guys?
