Great review, thanks. I’m looking to purchase this bike when my companies bike to work scheme opens. I see you’re in the UK. I’d be interested if you could update how the bike fares in wet conditions. I’m in Ireland, and will be using to ride to and from work regardless of the conditions. The colour looks awesome! Was considering the blue, but the black just looks to good. Thanks again for your video.
The black really does look fantastic if you ask me, I will, think we are forecast some in the next few days. I have read that it is rated for wet weather but only time will tell
Excellent review and video Ben. Will you be riding it a lot more? An update in a few months would be awesome. Most of these videos, are people riding it for 10 mins. Then saying it’s amazing. No long term reliability info. So that would be great. I’m thinking of the Engwe L20. That one is right up my street.

@@regalito9074 That really sucks. And very misleading to be sending unlocked bikes to youtubers. But the L20 is the bike i want and that can definitely be unlocked.
I have been using it for a few days now and what I can say is the Engwe seems to be a very good quality brand so far. I hope to do an update on the bike

@@TraceyandbenI would be very careful with Engwe. People have been hurt riding these bikes. The welds on them are terrible apparently. People have been riding them when handlebar welds have broken and the handlebars have collapsed sending them over the handlebars. I would check throughly the welds to make sure they are OK.

@@lizvickers7156 Chill out Liz, we aren't all sticklers about the law for such minor things. Most of us ride sensibly regardless of what power it is which is what matters. Did you also know the 2.0 peaks at 1200W. Call the police!
Sadly not. In the uk it's illegal to have a 750 watt bike unless your just using it to go off road. We are only able to own a 250 watt bike in the uk. Obviously people do have 750 watt bikes they use on the road but unless you're acting crazy or going crazy speeds then the police wouldn't notice. That's not the point though if you have a accident and it involves a pedestrian then you would be liable because you're riding illegally and you would be done by the police and have your bike crushed. I wouldn't risk it to be honest. A 250 watt bike is more than enough for me.

The surprising thing for me was the comment that other reviews have said the bike is noisy and can’t climb hills. I think I’ve watched very review on TH-cam and hadn’t heard either of those two things said before. Quite the opposite, in fact.

I beleive another 4 or 5 bike reviews are on the horizon, I’m hoping at least one gets donated to someone who really is in need of one or to a local charity! It’s quite sad to see all these reviews by these so called vloging channels- it’s just take take take all the time and I’m getting fed up of it. I’m not envious by the way, I just find it greedy. That’s my honest opinion.

It's because we don't need to shout about it for recognition as that is not why we do it, we do certain things for certain charities because we think they are important and to show our children that you don't need praise or celebrating for doing the right thing but it's important to help others in need.
