The card holder is amazing! GGs to see Sanji being used to go for lethal or help killing life is something I’d never try doing as I usually want to save him for a counter. Imma have to give that a shot one day
Nice games and love the setup. I have been playing Blurple Kaido at my locals and have not had much luck. My latest build uses the pacifista engine and I think will be pretty solid. Sentomaru to give you consistent blockers/beaters from your deck for some extra pseudo card draw, and Kuma bringing in a bonus blocker or a pacifista to swing back on your turn.
There's an official ruling for how life is placed and drawn now. The first card off the top of your deck is the last card you draw when you take damage. The last card you draw off the top of your deck for life is the first card you draw when you take damage. Additionally, you draw from the bottom going upwards, not from the top going downwards.
Yes we know. Pretty sure it doesn't matter though if you go bottom to top or top to bottom, as long as the other rule is fulfilled, e.g. the first life you take was the last card you placed and the last life life you take was the first card you placed. If you look at tournament streams from Japan they draw from top going downwards, which also makes a lot more sense than drawing from the bottom going upwards.
I also thought Kaido would be the right fit for the new deck, but it's been a struggle to get it to perform. It's not terrible, it just doesn't have enough removal, so even if you are getting some hits in, you're usually spending those hits on clearing a board every turn without actually getting to deal damage. Then again, the deck I have to test against is Doffy, so... Maybe it has better matchups.
Yes! It started out as a basic ikea dining table but Leijin's dad crafted the card stands for us, they're removable so we can still use it as a dining table haha
Blurple Kaido getting love finally. Glad I’m not the only 1 not playing any Onigashima. Also when chopper blocked to save character Zoro you still get Kaido ramp.
Thank you. Yeah the effect should've gone off on the first KO, I think I tunneled on using Lion's Threat anyways so I activated when that was played. But I am pertty sure Kaido's effect is mandatory so having it activate on the Chopper KO would be correct.
Love BLURPLE KAIDO ❤️ But i dont know why no Onigamachina? Also no King from Starter deck? Just some ideas❤️😁 Loved the 4 Whos Whos❤️ But Douglas Bullet personal i dont like it in this deck. Keep the good content ❤️ Mutch Love ❤️
Really nice setup to follow the game, good job!! 🤩

That's actually a really cool table is it custom?

What's the time stamp? The ramp is Once Per Turn so it might've been the second KO in the turn.
@@hibikiopcg 2:15 sorry it wasn’t in original post.

I wanted to see how it plays without Onigashima, so far I've liked it. But I think both Oni and King are good options in the deck:)
