I've just started to watch anime because of AOT, and jujutsu kaisen is my second ever seen anime. I watched the movie without any information about this show, and I finished this series just in 2 days. I was overwhelmed by the action, visuals, character designs. They are in another level. I really love that you started this show.
Watching the movie before the show won’t spoil anything, but watching the movie AFTER the show (which is what I did): the movie basically drops a giant plot twist and what you thought you knew from the show, you didn’t. That after credit scene raised so many questions and I have never been looking forward to season two more

Just so you know, starting season 4 Attack on Titan switched to the same studio that animates Jujutsu Kaisen. So once you get there you'll be in for a treat if you enjoyed JJK's animation!
As a fan of MAPPA, JJK and AoT.. the teams that worked on both series are different and it kind of shows. Understandably AoT S4 took a dive in quality due to the time constraints the production had to deal with. Also the art styles employed are much different. JJK had a ton of time put into it for its 1st season and it really shows. The shows not out yet, but if the trailer is anything to go by Chainsaw Man is much closer to the JJK aesthetic and animation also being done by MAPPA.
Based off what I’ve seen of AOT’s fourth season, they’re only doing that because no one else was willing to with the deadline, but Mappa hates their animators so they had no problem. JJK seems more like something of a passion project from everyone. Maybe not on the level of White Fox with Re:Zero (crazy fuckers buy the ad slots for their own show just to make longer episodes lmao), but Mappa’s definitely putting the time in with JJK.
The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie was actually the first volume that came out for the manga as a stand-alone. It was so popular that the author continued it with this new story and protagonist. This is the best animation in a shounen anime that I've seen thus far. It definitely beat out Demon Slayer and MHA in that department and became the best shounen to come out of 2021. It may have even eclipsed AoT in terms popularity during the time.

Jujutsu kaisen has great animation especially in fight scenes and it's greatly seen in some fight scenes in the last few eps and the fact that this anime is made by studio MAPPA, the same studio that's animating Attack on Titan season 4 right now is awesome
Among the anime you are reacting, Jujutsu Kaisen has a current era settings which makes it very relatable outside of supernatural events. As you have seen, Demon Slayer is set between late 18th to early 19th century. While Attack on Titan has a post-apocalyptic setting, which should be the future but since the appearance of titans, their civilization reset inside the wall. There are also straight up futuristic setting like the Sword Art Online openings you had reacted.

In Japan, it's normal to wear a mask, even pre-pandemic. They actually see it as you being polite by wearing a mask, DEFINITELY if you're sick in any way. Doctors obviously wear in Japan, but in most of the world too, since the hospital has to be as clean as possible
In Europe the Doctor only wear a mask when join in a room of a patient very weak to any external shit or that the patient can give to the doctor any shit. In the rest of 99% of situations doesn't wear mask.

Honestly you're in for a great ride. Every character is awesome in their own way. I know that there has been a recent uptick in people saying that Yuta is the better MC with the movie and other things that I won't spoil. But honestly Yuji is such a breath of fresh air in regards to mainstream MCs. I think you'll enjoy not only him but his interactions with many of the characters you'll see.
Watching the movie first was how you were supposed to read it at first actually. So this is actually a unique perspective which is still a valid watchorder.

if you ever need an anime to watch to relax a little after all these intense AoT, JJK and Demon slayer episodes i'd recomend dr. Stone, wich i'm not gonna spoil now, you shouldn't even reackt to the ops beforehand caus that's the best way to enjoy the series(also it can get realy complicatet at times so even thou you seam to prefere sub over dub, i'd still watch the english dub if i where you), and Tenshura aka "That time I got reincarnated as a slime". It's quite chill with an atmosphere like a citybuilding game but also has some intens moments, especialy near the end of each seson. Also, it's quite short and has exelent pacing. It is isekai however whitch isn't for everyone but i still imagine you'd like it. sao is isekai to, it's just realy generic and stereotipical wich tenshura isn't making it, the rising of the shield hero, mishoku tensei and konosuba, along with a few others, the moast loved isekai out there. (and also a few vids ago you said you said you liked the funkyness of the steins gate op so i'd recomend the op of kokkoku.)

A Japanese professional manga-ka said that the author of this JJK suffered from 3.11 when he was young and because of that he experienced the cruel reality that people cannot escape from disasters and that one day they will die for no reason, Itadori is different from the previous protagonists, and he puts more emphasis on how to die rather than how to live. I think it makes sense.

The movie was basically based on the chapter 0 of the manga which was before the main story so it wouldn't spoil anything. The first season got released before the movie to create a hype for it and it really go as planned by the people who worked in making Jujutsu Kaisen.

This show is amazing, the movie was great and season 2 is going to be epic!!! I cant believe you are reacting to it I would have suscribed if I hadnt already. This show hooks you in especially after the first 4-5 eps, it took me a lot more to get invested in Demon slayer (its still a good show tho) but jujutsu kaisen is god tier.

if you ever need an anime to watch to relax a little after all these intense AoT, JJK and Demon slayer episodes i'd recomend dr. Stone, wich i'm not gonna spoil now, you shouldn't even reackt to the ops beforehand caus that's the best way to enjoy the series(also it can get realy complicatet at times so even thou you seam to prefere sub over dub, i'd still watch the english dub if i where you), and Tenshura aka "That time I got reincarnated as a slime". It's quite chill with an atmosphere like a citybuilding game but also has some intens moments, especialy near the end of each seson. Also, it's quite short and has exelent pacing. It is isekai however whitch isn't for everyone but i still imagine you'd like it. sao is isekai to, it's just realy generic and stereotipical wich tenshura isn't making it, the rising of the shield hero, mishoku tensei and konosuba, along with a few others, the moast loved isekai out there. (and also a few vids ago you said you said you liked the funkyness of the steins gate op so i'd recomend the op of kokkoku.)

at the end of jujutsu kaisen episodes, theres this funny scene that they usually do called juju stroll. its right before the preview so u can watch it without getting spoiled. theyre really funny and i havent seen anyone mention it, but i think theyre worth watching
This is gonna be an interesting series. I think watching the movie is a good primer for what the 1st season is and becomes. I watched it the other day with some friends and we all enjoyed it. Can't wait for more

A Japanese professional manga-ka said that the author of this JJK suffered from 3.11 when he was young and because of that he experienced the cruel reality that people cannot escape from disasters and that one day they will die for no reason, Itadori is different from the previous protagonists, and he puts more emphasis on how to die rather than how to live. I think it makes sense.

The movie was basically based on the chapter 0 of the manga which was before the main story so it wouldn't spoil anything. The first season got released before the movie to create a hype for it and it really go as planned by the people who worked in making Jujutsu Kaisen.
