I really like how supportive SC2 fans are of both competitors. Stark difference from some other esports, where the audience will pick one side and might even try to boo or discourage the one they don't like. SC2 really is the best esport.
SC2 has a very unique community in that sense. The times of booing is a bit over. The fact is also that some players have secret strategies specifically against other players. In SC2 there are many underdogs.. and lots of others that are florishing every day :)! Truely one of the best esports to watch imo :)! There are always people who root for the underdog.. in SC2 anything can happen even the best players make tiny mistakes that cost em the game :)

Pleae consider putting even more commercials into the video, if I dont see a commercial at least every five minutes I start to actually get absorbed by sc2
Only one recommendation..when uploading clips from the ESL competition I suggest that when it comes to clips from quarterfinals, semi finals, etc..do not mark the protagonists, just mark the first quarter finals, or second .... because when we watch, we can know in advance the outcome of that duel we are watching, because of recommended videos and we know which of the competitors get through... its better...
Some people are fans of particular players (for example, I'm a zerg player/fan and have always been a fan of scarlets). Also TH-cam algorithms reward completed videos - cutting off the end chat improves their spread on TH-cam (theoretically at least to my understanding)
@@alanmortier5295 This part annoys me the most. After watching 2h of them playing, finally got the match result and we get denied the follow up commentary and potential interviews. GSL gets it right. You can watch every single GSL match in chronological order and not miss a single introduction, game, pause, discussion, interview, etc.
@@Qladstone Exactly. These games are great, but the videos are just not as good because we don't get to see the pre or post game analysis. It's also harder to see who is in the finals because they don't show any of the brackets.
Game 2 really demonstrates what I feel about static defenses. If it goes to late game, I think a Zerg player should really build a lot of spores and spines, especially if they are sitting on a lot of bank. At one point Reynor had over 7000 minerals, and yet he did not invest nearly as much into the static defenses as Dark. As a result, Dark was able to have a MUCH better exchange ratio. That's just easy math: the static defenses allow you to have effectively more army supply than your opponent. Another thing I'm wondering about: Reynor had tons of money. Do brood lords suck so much that they just aren't worth making? It seems to me that with enough spores for them to fall back to, covered by vipers and hydras, brood lords would have been devastating against the turtle strategy of Dark.
Why the starcraft Esports havnt started doing lower brackets in tornements is beyond me. I mainly watch dota and its a staple, it allows for players who had a weak match to come back through the brackets.
It's already a fully packed 4 day tournament with way more games than Blizzcon ever had. A lower bracket would be too much for staff as well as the players.

Terrific effort by Dark to take the world Champion to 5 games.

Man I love ZvZ
Zerg OP. The Zerg only had half of resources lost compared to his opponent, and still won.

Then switch to zerg
how does that joke work? less resources lost = good

Probably the best serie in the tournament.
