Vader said he felt the presence of a more powerful Jedi and so he thought it was kotas master which he killed years ago and so seeing the boy he was shocked for a sec
Yeah, his reaction in this version is far better than in the Wii, Ps2, and Switch version, where Vader says that line in an unamused voice while adding an "oh" at the start of the sentence.
The moment that hits me the most is when Proxy, just after finishing a transmission with Vader says "I really hate being him" and Starkiller replies "I think he does too". Makes Vader a more sympathetic character
Vader is a rare form of tragic evil. He’s struggled through so much it broke him and now he does bad shit because he’s lost. He couldn’t cope with his failures and hence Vader was born.
OK. There are two versions of this though which you prefer is entirely up to you. *Legends* Vader is completely self-aware and fully acknowledges that all of his suffering and everything he's lost is his fault. He despises himself and wallows in guilt. He forces himself to serve Palpatine and be the villain as a form of self-inflicted hell. While he wishes he was dead, he does not seek death as he wants to be punished for what he has done. He acts as the villain because he hates himself and no amount of torment he inflicts on himself is enough. *Current Canon* Vader still feels the same amount of pain and loss from the destruction of the Jedi, his crippling, and Padme's death. However, he is obsessed with order and bringing order to the galaxy. He tries desperately to instill order no matter the cost to justify all that he's lost. No amount of death or destruction is too much if it brings a galaxy at peace with Vader desperate to make sure all he's lost isn't sacrificed in vain. He still retains tremendous guilt and self-loathing but it is unconscious and manifests in an intense hatred for how he was (Anakin Skywalker). Vader will do anything to avoid confronting his guilt and shame making him perpetually pissed off and a seething mass of quiet rage. Here he continues as vader because he's come too far to give up and believes it will all be worth it in the end.
The stormtroopers still fighting even though they know they are doomed is awesome. “The traitor dies with the rest of us. Don’t let him reach her.” Badass af
I find it clever that Proxy's posture and walking alters based on who he's looking at or who he is trying to mimic. It's the little things that makes it amazing
"You can't kill him while you're angry!" "So I'll just calm down, then press my lightsaber hilt to his head and press the button. Quickly, simply, and _calmly."_
I always thought it would be relieving to kill someone the likes of the emperor, but the force would balance itself out somehow and no good would come of it likely
This game has one of the coolest subtle mechanics I have ever seen in a Star Wars game. There’s an upgrade you can purchase that allows you to use a more Jedi-like saber technique, but it requires you to be calm and methodical in the midst of combat, as the Jedi teach their disciples to be. Alternatively you can mash the attack button quickly and frantically, in which case he will use the standard/Sith technique. It’s quicker and ultimately easier, just as Yoda said the Dark Side is in Empire.
You guys gotta love at 6:35 Vaders body language shows that he doesn’t want to hurt the boy, the same when reached his hand out to show that he doesn’t want to harm him.
what makes me so mad- is since none of this is canon, they could literally just shit Legends movies out like hotcakes and rake in a SHITLOAD of money. Legends not being canon, means people don’t need to follow any timeline or even need any prior information before watching. that also gives the director/s LIMITLESS potential to take anything from Legends and fucking run with it- man.
6:27 For a split moment, you hear Anakin. You hear him wondering whether this Jedi and his son could've been him once, about whether the Order had to collapse as it did, if he, Padmé and their children could've lived peacefully. But such thoughts only give him pain, and he already has enough.
You can hear Vader’s slight sorrow as he first sees Galen reminding him of padmé and her pregnancy. This makes him even more lovable as his anger leaves for just a split second
Starkiller's arc is more interesting than Rey's Mary Sue story. He was brought to the Dark Side of the Force by Darth Vader, and chose the path of Light after being betrayed by his master/father-figure twice. Plus, his love for Rogue Shadow's pilot Juno Eclipse, in addition, the start of the Rebellion. We need another Force Unleashed game... or give him a Star Wars story!
HAHAHA no way, Galen Marek is as much of a mary sue as Rey is. Have you seen how powerful he is??? How does someone with that level of power exist in this timeline of Star Wars, but no one ever mentions him in any other media?
It’s too bad Starkiller was only in 4 games. Force Unleashed 1 and 2, Soul Caliber 4, and Lego Star Wars 3. It’s also a shame he was labeled “Vader’s Apprentice” in Soul Caliber 4 and Lego Star Wars 3.
if Disney was to add this in the timeline as current canon lore as a show or movie hey would turn Starkiller to a hispanic, black, or a man hating gay woman, no way they would leave him as a white dude lol.
@@zoolande-roblox-gaming9877 they wouldn't dare.. but my concern is him being live action. No way would they leave him as powerful. They'd have to nerf him considerably lol

A variation of this game should’ve been made canon. Imagine Galen, Kota, Hera Syndulla, Proxy, and Ahsoka. Galen being tempted by Maul after Cal Kestis and Merrin leave Maul trapped on Malachor V after the events of Fallen Order 2. Would be so badass!
Have we forgotten that they already remastered the Wii version like last year? It’s totally in the realm of possibilities for this version to get a remaster as well, although I don’t think it needs one. Efforts are better spent on a new game. Also, Star Wars is not dying, it died many years ago already.
Fun fact; on the very first level, Vader cannot be killed. If his health hits zero, nothing happens and the game keeps playing. Vader is too badass to die. Except for cliffs - they will kill him. But he’s always had a problem with the high ground.
I just realized starkiller has the same lightning as palpatine. Im guessing the difference in color means Palpatines is stronger, or darker from the force like how lightsabers go red.
After going through Clone Wars, I can see how that could work. Dooku and other sith usually has blue lighting, Sidious and Starkiller has purple as more powerful, and The Brother as red showing how powerful he is with the Dark Side
@@JohnSmith-vq8ho I'm afraid that's not how it works in Legends Continuity. In Legends, there are two ways to get Crystals for Lightsabers, neither is Light or Dark, it just depends on the circumstance. You could either A) Make a Crystal yourself given the right materials. Or B) Find a Crystal on a planet or area rich with Crystals. Sith prefer to make their own since they don't like to rely on the Force and are denied access to planets like Illum. Jedi prefer to find their Crystals because they trust in the Force unlike the Sith. I deeply apologize for coming off as rude, I just wanted to point out the difference. I mean no ill will.
@@nickthepick8043 Ah that’s interesting, I didn’t know that! In either case, I was thinking about the canon way sith get their lightsabers. Though Starkiller is not canon. But that’s cool!

The storyline of this game is actually way more cooler than most of the Star Wars movies we had. I wish we had the storyline of his game in the Life action movie or TV SHOW will be we really deserve one.
If there were a way for Starkiller to have been implemented, he could have been a recurring antagonist over the official Inquisitors who actually infiltrated the growing Rebel Alliance; being a menace to even Hera's team through sabotage and intense infiltration techniques that allude even Ahsoka Tano. But like the original Starkiller, he would have to die upon defecting the Empire. As for how he would not be mentioned, it would be possible that his last will is to not have his name be written in the books, but to at least let his actions be the ones that tell the story. Edit: As for how he would be able to pull off his feats, a price unto Galen could be that he would feel sluggish or fatigued AFTER pulling off a skill that requires tremendous amounts of concentration and energy. Even with the training under Darth Vader, recuperation is necessary after strenuous displays of strength.
I like the skin they chose for the final part of the game, a Jedi master skin with the sith saber and the other collected light sabers. Makes wonder what kind of Jedi or force user Starkiller would’ve been, would he still use his red saber?
I love this game. I can't stand the sequel though. It was so bad. For me, Starkiller's story ended when he sacrificed himself for the fledgling Rebellion.
i like this game more than fallen order to be honest with you,the skin changes the force lightning a better unique story, plus vader gameplay was the bonus
Vader at the beginning be like: "I'm gonna pull what's called a pro Qui-Gon move here and steal this powerfully-Force-sensitive young boy to train against my master's wishes."
The only time any storm trooper hit anything 😂. No but seriously I like how u put some game play in there as well. It made it feel more like a movie and not just cutscenes from a game.
What's funny now a days is that Sam eventually becomes the voice of Maul in newer content like Clone Wars and Rebels. But before all that, Starkiller faced Proxy after the droid takes the form of the original shadow apprentice.
Imagine if this was more the plot for the new movies. A secret strong af apprentice trained by darth vader as a twisted father figure, making it more like luke relationship. He could have been off the death star and had his own mini story of making the imperial remnant and looking for a way to bring back the Emperor or something. (A Kylo ren type story) of redemption and getting to know Rey and having a complicated brother/ enemy relationship with Luke. So Much depth could be done. The Starkiller in the sequel is actually a clone.
I enjoyed watching that more than any of the sequels that was proper star wars :)
All these new quirky droids, as much as I love them, like K2S0 and BB-8, nothing will ever beat Proxy.
i like this game more than fallen order to be honest with you,the skin changes the force lightning a better unique story, plus vader gameplay was the bonus
Fallen order was garbage. Felt more like a tomb raider game than SW
Vader at the beginning be like: "I'm gonna pull what's called a pro Qui-Gon move here and steal this powerfully-Force-sensitive young boy to train against my master's wishes."
What happen to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II: Dark Apprentice?
1:33:24 Star Wars The Force Unleashed 1 and 2! Menu!
I love this game. Force Lightning imbued lightsaber attacks. Pulling Tie Fighters out of the sky. Need more Force Unleashed combat
this game was amazing on the wii
CaptainConcerned Sr. Very different on the Wii
I’ve been playing this on PS5 it’s way better than I thought it would be.
The only time any storm trooper hit anything 😂. No but seriously I like how u put some game play in there as well. It made it feel more like a movie and not just cutscenes from a game.
25:48 I can see it in his eyes...and I know what he is thinking...
"What have I done...?"
What's funny now a days is that Sam eventually becomes the voice of Maul in newer content like Clone Wars and Rebels. But before all that, Starkiller faced Proxy after the droid takes the form of the original shadow apprentice.
Bro this was like… a perfect single player Star Wars video game.
Gameplay? 😍 so good
Storytelling??? My favorite 😋
SOUNDTRACK?!?! 😩😩😩 more PLEASE
Include a little Old republic Lore if you can
Id have been sooo happy.
One of my favorite stories of all time . Gravitate back all the time .
i love the part where star killer is walking away after his first introduction and the imperial march is played in both minor and major
I swear they really should've made a SWTFU3!
they tried but when Disney bought LucasArts they cancelled all games so that way they could do their own galaxy
@@jerry1432100 Well how disney has been doing it so far has kinda sucked. Lucasfilm needs to take it BACK!
@@jerry1432100 including Star Wars rebels
I think a reboot is more likely, one that fits canon
@@kaiserreichempireofohio834 You know this game took place in the Legends timeline of SW and to me that one is even better than canon cause the rebel alliance was a little more stronger and equipped.
I can't help but think, those are some very brave wookies..
I played this on the Wii at least 4 times through. Best Star Wars game I’ve ever played
was it in 4K like this video? this video makes it looks amazing…
@@bynxtypebeat no it was the on the Wii so definitely not 4K. This is also a newer version, gameplay and graphics look a little different but same story
What’s crazy is the force unleashed concept started as a bunch of fixed figure toy sets. I remember because I had a bossk and dengar one I believe, so when this game came out I was like I see where the force being violently spectacular comes from.
Funny how this was one of the few stories set between III and IV outside of the books when it came out, and now we have four shows, numerous other games, AND two movies! It's pretty much Disney's favorite era!
Though this wasn't the best, it was still enjoyable enough and this is still better then anything the Mouse can come up with. Long live the EU. Preserve it forever, boys and girls.
Sam Witwer doing his "evil apprentice" voice during his scenes with Vader and I _cannot_ unhear Maul from Clone Wars.
People right now are playing Jedi Fallen me I rather still play this game
Si
both awesome
I gotta say, this was also a great Vader story. This could have been a direction Disney Star Wars could have went, but look at where we are smh.
Starkiller should be canon, even his voice actor came back in Clone Wars
As far as I’m concerned, he’s legit and I will hear nothing of the contrary
Nah dude, StarKiller is wayyyy to powerful to be canon 🤣
@@TreyJaySoSway Not really. TFU fits perfectly in the timeline, starting the rebel alliance, and his death before episode 4. He wasn’t that powerful either when you look at the big picture
@@junonovamusic “not that powerful” my brother in Christ he beat vader and sidious back to back y’all complain about rey when this mf is the true mary sue him being this powerful ruins the entire concept of Luke being the one to beat the empire when some random basically did the same shit not that long ago
@@TreyJaySoSway No he isn't
Anyone else find this more entertaining than any of the Disney movies?
Rogue one?
@@Rebel_Scum1138 got me there, that one was entertaining
@@jennamore-rice force awakens was prett good too, so was solo.
@Gamer's Little Playground
I noticed that some of the spots had NO audio; copyright issues here?
A couple copyrights had to be muted
@@glp that's sad, talk about no respect for entertainment
To anyone watching this, I highly recommend checking out the force unleashed novel. I finished listening to the audio book, and it was very well done. You get so much insight into the character's thoughts and perspectives, and it adds so much to the overall story.
Woah had this on while editing and was surprised how good this was:) might play it someday!
1:24:08 - When I first played this years ago, my dumbass couldn't figure out the prompts, so I spent 40 minutes trying to drag down that god damn Star Destroyer.
"This is the God of war of star wars." -Some guy on Ifunny
he isn't wrong
Starkiller makes Kylo Ren look like a chump.
“You killed a computer console bitch I destroyed the entire Star Destroyer BARE HANDED.”
2:45 I love this scene
