In the latest in silly ideas turned into inspirations for our ever-dedicated TASers, this movie takes one controller and wires it into three SNES emulators at once; the same input is used to play 3 games simultaneously with one controller. There are also animations constructed with spare controllers during this movie.
This movie beats the first three Mega Man X games with 100% completion each (an improvement on its predecessor, which beat only the first two games and without 100% completion).
If you like this movie, there are other movies that beat four games with one controller!
Note: There might be a visual anomaly during the battle with Serges in X 2. This is an emulator bug relating to the Cx4 chip used in the Mega Man X 2 cartridge.

JUST TO CLARIFY!!!
The stats display of the video shows the frames, the input, the percentage of completion and the current armor of each game. Take in mind that these percentages takes into consideration only items that counts towards the "100%" that TASVideos refers to, wich is as follows:
X1: Heart Containers, Sub Tanks and Armor Upgrades + Hadouken
X2: Heart Containers, Sub Tanks and Armor Upgrades + Shoryuken
X3: Heart Containers, Sub Tanks, Ride Armors and Armor Upgrades + Gold Armor
Also for all 3, each one of the 8 bosses also counts. Items that affects the ending aren't being considered, such as Zero Parts (in X2) and Z-Saber (in X3).
As a recomendation for the next video. Use the sound of only 1 of the games, is a mess otherwise

so as i understand it these categories are different from main or regular players. if you check the speedrun.com pages www.speedrun.com/mmx2#100 as for mega man x2 regular conditions sate you also get the parts. Regular any% for x2 funny enough is getting everything but the parts and so the only difference here is the parts are required and mega man x3 www.speedrun.com/mmx3#100 www.speedrun.com/mmx3#Best_Ending_Max 100% is getting z saber where as the max% is not getting the saber and therefore gets the "best ending" so only difference is getting saber. As for a TAS they don't count anything that changes the ending so the parts and saber as they change the ending are not needed in a TAS (however he still gets the x2 parts and x3 saber for what ever reason). Also he does use the saber the sprites are just displayed weirdly and it does not always display properly however the bosses hp bars go down way faster this is how I can tell he is using it.

@@jmotzu1504 no caso, ele usou um "código", um "algoritmo" (TAS) pra zerar os jogos. Mesmo assim, a dificuldade é grande, porque os inputs foram compartilhados nos 3 jogos. Deve ter sido um desafio criar um código assim.

It's fun to imagine that X's conscious mind is linked to three points in time and he's experiencing them simultaneously.
This is a crazy awesome movie plot that needs to happen.

It's funny af how sometimes all three games have clearly identical motions, while in other instances two games are going all out in progress and the third one looks like it's having a seizure.

Well to be fair X2 haduken is in the third castle stage x3 olden armor is in stage one and he didnt count the z saber as part of the percentage I would

This is amazing dude. :) I rarely leave comments on videos. I run X2 myself and love watching the X series. The fact there's very little down time (intentional inputs being cycled because one game doesn't allow for forward movement) and how some of the boss kills sync up so you can maximize movement in 1 game is/was very cool to watch. I absolutely love how you routed this, especially how the boss rushes included the DPs/fireballs, etc. One of the coolest TAS videos I've ever watched, hands down. Great work.
Thanks for showing that Triad Thunder can be inverted! I never see anyone do this, probably because it's not extremely useful, but it's nice to see. (it can invert back to the original layout if you keep hitting the button too). 27:25

X-Unit 1 is the fastest and most efficient, being equipped with the Hadoken technique, with X-Unit 3 following a tad behind due to the slugginshness of the explosions it causes.
Fun fact: X's armor from X1 to X4 are just boosted versions of the X1 armor.
You can see that they're improved versions of the last iteration of the armor.
For instance, The X1 buster can shoot a large charged shot. That Charged shot evolved into a Duo Charged shot and then into a somewhat combo shot that then went into a plasma shot

I wish you only used one sound track after showing us that the soundtracks of all 3 games are playing at the same time. It gets annoying to hear the mixed soundtrack of all 3 at the same time after awhile.

This was a very Xcentric run, and it was all done with the exact same strategy every time. Dr. Light was a genius alright.

I remember in X1 if you didn't get the Buster upgrade by the time you get to the final parts of the game, they give it to you when Zero sacrifices himself. I think it cuts some dialog from him telling X to use his Buster.🥃

This video appears fixed.... in 1:49 - 1:52 Pay attention to X1 and X3. In X1 a shot is being charged, In X3 the same is happening except in X1 when the shot is made, while in X3 the shot cancels out which is impossible, even with mac exploding it's still possible to shoot
