I love Quills reaction to Lucius' new cane and posturing! Bird socializing is all about making displays to draw attention or assert dominance. So Quill being particularly effected by Lucius suddenly giving off a more masculine and domineering vibe is litterally just perfect.
I love the fact that the storm chaser went from a private civilian airship to a top of the line warship. The reveal made it say ‘ yes it’s ready for war’ Plus they should definitely get gratz as the power source. What a comeuppance 😂

As soon as I heard it was in space I immediately thought Pallador was going to be shot out of the sky. Imagine the visuals. A sun falling down like a meteor.
Christ, hearing Mark say it was Mother's Day nearly gave me a heart attack! On an unrelated note, today I learned that Mother's Day is not on the same day internationally
The one thing I'd add to Mark's 'how to DM' advice is always file off enough of the serial numbers that your players aren't constantly dragged towards the source material instead of being immersed in your world. Mark does this brilliantly, of course, with his sources occasionally visible, but never front and centre.
I heard Mark describing how Nova gets to control the ship and I immediately thought of Lt Stamets from star trek discovery and seeing Kim nerd out like that was so relatable.
I love the new ship. It just sounds amazing and why was Mark talking about my dream tower? The studio looks amazing. Can't wait to see you all back together playing games in there.

Hm. Well spotted. If I remember correctly though (i think it was in one of the Feywild episode?) in space people dont call him starbane and are in fact confused, mit knowing who it refers to? But I could be wrong. Anyways I love that it goes both ways, intentionally or not.
The absolute best bet for the engines is Tiamat and Aurelia of the boros legion. Although if you are going for Tiamat you need to use bahamut. The duality of zariel would also be interesting especially if you can also get an ashen rider or perhaps redeem graztz. A fallen angel and a rissen demon. Interesting prospects.

It just clicked this episode for me. Calus named himself 'Starbane' because he wants to destroy the red star.
I thought he was called Starbane in Aerois because they thought he killed Siaska.

most people call him Emperior Valkerian, the people of Aerois call him 'starbane' because it is believed he killed Siaska 'the starmother'
