I bought this exact kit 3 years ago and didn't get around to installing it today. This video answered a lot of questions that the instructions failed to answer. Thanks!

This was very helpful thank you.....but why did you really need to remove the air box since you went under the driver wheel well to run the wires anyway? And you did all that work without giving us a final visual of it all together and on the ground working.....

Very good video I watched several times. I’m trying to figure out how to hook up Winjet flood lights on my 2019 Sentra but I’m not sure how to hook up from the fuse block. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
if like you said in the beginning, the S trim has the harness there already, does that mean you can just plug and play and not mess with the firewall and fuse box and stuff?
If my car is already prewired for fog lights, can I just unpin the connector from this kit and attach it onto the wiring harness already in the car? The connector in the car is too wide for my switch, but it is just 4 wires, so I think it should be possible
@@mousajassam3778 Yep. At first I thought that I had one fog light plug on the driver side (idk why), but I found another on the passenger side attached to the coolant tank. The plugs were a bit short, but I managed to attach them to the fog lights, so I'm sweet. I also had to buy a new turn signal lever with the fog light option, but it wasn't a hassle.
First, you need a new switch with the fog light option on it. Then, after you have your kit and switch, just attach the H11 plugs on the driver and passenger sides to the fog light housings and then you should be good, provided that your plugs are not corroded.
@@AaronTheEagle1 if they aren’t corroded, then just take the wires that we’re already there for fog lights, plug the fog lights in and just wire it up like he did for the button?????
@@AaronTheEagle1 like what do I do with the wire that plugs into the fog light button? The one is ground and the one that connects to the fuse, what do I do with the yellow wire that’s in that same wire set
+Yony Rivas This procedure might be different for your application. We do not currently have a how-to video for this particular year, make and model. Thank you for asking! 1AAuto.com
I know this video is 5 years old but the only thing you have to do is just buy a turn signal/light switch if you have fog light wires from the factory only the V6 models have the factory switch on they turn signal/light switch
I have a 07 Nissan Altima this morning I turned the lights on they were working then went off. Now the only option that works is the last one on the dial. Do you know where I should be investigating

I hate those little plastic snap things I broke a few Each time I have to change my oil filter i gotta take the plastic shield off from under the wheel to get to the filter I was considering switching to some small screws or something & just removing all the plastic push clip thingys
I was going to ask that! Thank you btw did you use the lights from the video or a different brand? Also do they stay on while you drive or only when you put the setting on?
At 58:25 you start wiring the red wire into a wire sleeve connector into a fuse jumper. That fuse jumper didn’t come in the kit so what would you suggest when you don’t have that jumper?
The jumper is unnecessary and forces u to use the fog lights the same time the headlights on. Connect it straight to the battery you can cut the fog lights on and off with ease. It comes with its own fuse and relay.

Just purchased the kit, and honestly such a good video. Kept me engaged the whole way through, will have to watch again once I receive the kit.

I learn a lot from you guys, thanks, not just about cars but patience.
Like how you said you were going to install it with what came with the kit and end up using a fuse jumper, thought you'd be splicing the wires
Why did you take out the air box assembly?
Why did you add a 7.5 amp fuse as well as a 15 amp fuse in the jumper?
Very good video I watched several times. I’m trying to figure out how to hook up Winjet flood lights on my 2019 Sentra but I’m not sure how to hook up from the fuse block. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I'm just curious to know if you put a bulb on the connection already there will it light up when you turn on the lights?
if like you said in the beginning, the S trim has the harness there already, does that mean you can just plug and play and not mess with the firewall and fuse box and stuff?
I'm wondering the same. Would make the job so easy

U need a switch the one come in ur steering if come prewired if u dont want to use it them u need to do like the video
No, as you probably know by now.

How would the install work if the Altima was pre-wired like in the video? How would you install the switch and power the fog lights?

If you put the wiring at LO why it turns on only with high beam?
+IFoundMyUsername Thanks for watching! The fog lights came on with the low beam, which is the bulb that is more outboard in the headlight assembly.
awesome 👌🏾
I don't understand the benefit of airbox and battery removal here.

what was the point of taking off the whole air box? like genuinely, i feel like i missed the reason for that
Forgot to pull the engine out too
Shake, rattle, roll
