Great, detailed video. Banged it out in a little over an hour. For those people without a lift, there's no need for one. I just took out the 6 Phillips's head screws underneath and left the splash shield attached. It's flexible enough to allow the bumper cover to sit on the ground with no problem. Saves a bunch of time too. I used a 1A auto parts part for the assembly. It fit perfectly and came with bulbs installed. Couldn't have done it without this video. Thanks.
This is so simple. All i need now is that 10mm... been driving my wreck for months aww Jeeez.. Thank you for clearly showing the process with quality recordings. Peace
Thank you for your video. I am not a mechanic, and this helped me so much to remove my bumper and install 2 brand new headlight assemblies on my 2014 Altima. Took me 2 hours. Thanks!
This is a very detailed video. I am thankful that you started with the driver side assembly. It showed me that the battery needs to be removed on the driver's side. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
This video saved me a ton of headaches. Wife bumped a guard rail and busted the headlight into a million pieces. Didn't know where to start or end lol. Great vid
Great step by step video! More detailed than the ones I've seen so far. One of the things i wanted to make sure of is where does the yellow H11 and Gray H9 belong to and this video addresses it. I bought headlights that are interchangeable between H11 and H9.
I just ordered and installed the set on my 2013 Altima coupe great product and fast shipping .I was able to remove the top plastic bumper fasteners completely then the top 10mm bolts of the assembly and the screw by the fender ,one more 10mm bolt on the side of the housing with an right angle power ratchet. This allowed me to carefully shimmy the bumper away from the assembly just enough to get them out and disconnected and put in the reverse order. I did this one side at a time and never had to remove any of the under side splash guard fasteners. just a tip for a 2013 coupe not sure if it would apply for the sedans. Total time :50 minutes to complete.

I was with you all the way up until the zip-strips. These can't be depended upon to last. They become brittle and fail eventually. Don't get me wrong, I've used them myself for light duty purposes such as cable or wire retention. But never for structural support. What happened to the 7 mm bolts? Other than this, I thought your video was great and very helpful. Please consider editing, or even remaking, this video to include a proper and safe wrap up. Thanks for the informative video. The end result is a deal breaker for me though. If I were a customer or a shop owner, I would be very dissatisfied with the use of zip-strips in place of bolts or clips. ~ Peace
YES, the 2013 thru 2018 headlight assemblies have been the subject of a class action lawsuit in which Nissan settled and its due to the chrome delamination encircling the bulbs. It flakes off and makes visibility at night very difficult.
Are these steps necessary if you're only replacing the low beam head bulbs? Nissan is really ridiculous in their ways to build these kind of cars. It's not Mechanic's friendly. Ridiculous design.
+Pioneer Lover You may be able to access the hi-beam bulb easier, but it would be hard to say when you should stop. Thanks for checking us out! 1AAuto.com
it's not just Nissan, I had a 2007 Buick Lucerne and a 2013 CTS Sedan and both required the the bumper cover removed! I too the CTS to chevy dealer for (1) one headlight bulb replacement: bulb $6.00, Labor $101.00!

Muy buen video ,muhas gracias por todo lo que nos presentastes en el video...
Very helpful video, thanks 🙏
+Andrew Paul Thank you! We are happy we could help.
Good video if I needed a headlight assembly replacement. But I just need a low-beam headlight bulb replacement.
All that for headlight serious
It really isn't that bad. You have to take the front bumper off quite a few cars to get to the lights.
If this is too much for anyone I feel bad for them.

When is it necessary to replace the entire piece versus just the bulb inside?

I have a 2011 altima coupe 2.5s. Can I install an assembly without the projector lenses?
+Dion High Eagle It depends on what your vehicle came with. Thanks for the question.
Thank You!

So I have to lift my car up to Change my headlight damn wtf I can’t do all that 😂 I just wana fix my light
Manufacturers overcomplicate things by design
Man, Nissan sure makes it a pain. Great vid but for your average person, it’s probably not simple, it will be tedious.
Why those mounting bolts are rusted? Even the transmission pan mounting bolts are rusted?
+Pioneer Lover Most of the vehicles we work on are from the Northeast so rust is sometimes a problem. Thanks for checking us out! 1AAuto.com
Aint no gotdamn way i have to remove to whole bumper just to replace my light bulb....
THIS IS THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY... EINSTEIN .
I watched it
+GARY ADAMS Thanks for checking us out. 1aauto.com
You dont have to remove your bumper to change your headlight bulbs. Theres a video here on youtube showing you how. You just use the wheel well.
This is the entire assembly, not just the bulbs.
Why the fuck do we have to take off the bumper
Absolutely no reason to spray the bolts
