Oven/Stove with NO HEAT

- The BARN stove is not working right.
The clock is on, then you turn the knobs there is a relay click sound but the heating elements do not work.
SAFETY NOTE: Be SAFE when working on electrical appliances. Do not attempt unless you have the skill and experience working with electricity. Never work on a live panel. Always shut main switch/breaker OFF when opening and working on a panel. This is for demonstration only. Always make sure YOUR work is up to current electrical codes.
To start the diagnosis Mongo unplug the machine and remove the rear panel to check for any loose connections. This stove get moved around a lot, in the barn, to other peoples houses etc, so could be a loose connection. Next Mongo remove the cord access panel.
plug the machine back in and checks that power is getting to the machine. Not measuring 220v total. One leg of the 220 is reading 14v the other leg is reading 123v. This is why the stove is ON but not working. Do this same check at the outlet then inside the panel on the breaker. Find out the breaker is not working right. Mongo got a new breaker in the pile so we shut off power to the panel. Remove the bad breaker from the panel, unscrew the clamps and disconnect the wires from the breaker. Secure the wires to the new breaker and angle the breaker back into position. Best practice to have the breaker in the OFF position when installing. Once complete then flip ON. Test the stove and it works.

Open circuit on the one leg, but still seeing some voltage? Probably just capacitive coupling on the open contacts within that leg of the breaker. Fun video as always.

While wire sould have a black electrical tape to say it is live.
