    I used to live in an old (haunted) house that looked pretty much like this one. It had the same steep stair construction. I'm really surprised I never fell down those stairs. Great video!

    Cool explore, looks like that house was still in decent shape considering!

      Thank you! Yep, bet it would still be really nice had the owners never abandoned it!

      Where's this house located?

    haha, following the "older" people on here, me included, getting ready to tell you that's not a water heater, lmao! It's a fuel oil tank. Also, those switches are not intercoms..omg...Light switches! Also, can you please show the wall paper in these old houses for us? 1 more thing.. Those shelf thingy's in the wall? Those are called "Built Ins". Learn the lingo babies, lol. God I feel old.

    beautiful house, great location in the woods.Love the design of the house, with the porch in front of it.So different from the styles we have in Europe.Thanks for showing the house, must be interesting to live in a place called HellTown.

    I wish you guys would slow down too.. did you notice those were square nails sticking out of the ceiling in the attic? Great locations, just need to slow down a bit. :)

    Those light switches date back to 1940's or so.My grandparents farmhouse had them.

    Awesome guys. Glad to see Adam all better. I can't believe the outhouse is still there but the shed was creepy as hell. Notice the way most wallpaper from back then holds up but wallpaper now peels in a couple years? Safe exploring!

    Up in the attic, that wooden board with three steel blades really surprised me! Those are SO old, my mom just gave me one from my great great great grandmother's, it was used to cut cabbage and such! I have 2 other pieces that look a little like it but different! I am gonna hang them in my kitchen, they looked nice on my mom's wall, looked so old country! Loved the wallpaper too. Nice video thanks!

    Hey guys I did find one thing creepy in the creepy abandoned house. It was at 7:39 in the attic (exactly) to the far right against the wall where those 2 roof beams meet and that big rectangle box is. Between those 2 is a small face of a man ? Amazing !

    • @539Productions
      @539Productions  8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It's getting down in the 40s a lot here now! I believe the name has to do with the folklore around how the town was abandoned. Lots of legends talk about chemical spills and other disasters. Thanks!

    You missed a great find in the attic. A slicing board that was used to slice cabbage for slaw and such. I sure would love to have an original one. I remember my Mother using one. Slow down moving the camera, makes me dizzy.

    Great find Matt. Nice to see Adam back on his feet. That toilet was a bit far out from the house!! I wouldn't like to have to go all the way down there in the middle of the night...is that the only toilet or was there one in the house?

    Probably was a hand dug cellar. House only has a basement under half the house. Old stone walls hand laid. House must be very old built in late 1800 or early 1900. Steep stairs in small houses to conserve space . That large flat stone could have covered the well or septic but I don’t remember a bathroom in house.
