Honestly giving this a 10 and the new modest mouse album a 2 destroyed whatever credibility I though he had lol (I’m obviously over exaggerating he’s fine). But for real, this sounds like a Disney princess tried shrooms with her friends and is trying to get in touch with her spiritual side. I can respect it for being original but it’s just not for me.
Her music is simultaneously familiar and like nothing I have heard. This song in particular, and Little Deer are like songs i heard in a dream long ago.

I’ve loved this album for about a year and a half now. Took a few listens, but I’ve heard it now more times than I can count, and at one point it was genuinely my favourite pop album of all time. I can’t believe just how lucky we are that such a beautiful album was created. It’s just this perfect world, and I’m always so so happy every time I go to that perfect world. This is so different from everything thats trending right now in the best way possible. Kinda requires some love for Oldies to truely be appreciated. This is Peace. You can really tell she greatly admires Kate Bush; the influence is palpable, but it’s not copying. It’s her own thing, but I’m really happy to see art pop artists continue to use chamber pop soundscapes in their music

That piano solo from 2:15 adds so much to the whimsical, pastoral quality of this track. It would complement a carousel ride so well. Sometimes a clever interval like that to break up the song makes it so much more interesting. "Queen of Wands" is a bit abstruse for me though.
