thanks so much. My apologies for not having put out any new content in a while but I have haven't been able to get back to the trail for quite some time due to an injury. I"m on the mend and Hopefully soon so I can share more of the beautiful plants of Costa Rica with you. pUra vida
Beautiful! Made us remember why we love this place so much :) Some of the shots really help giving the impression of being there which is very difficult in video. We once saw a puma there, and for birding is great of course. It's amazing how nature thrives even in the areas close to the road.
Hi. Yes it's a great place to see birds and plants. I have yet to see a puma!!! Maybe one day I'll see one in the area. Thanks for watching and Pura Vida.
Thanks James. It's a really amazing National Park that's not too far from where we live. I hadn't been back there in years so it was nice to hike there once again! :) Thanks for watching friend.
The aroids are spectacular! Just found your channel. It's claimed China is buying up huge amounts of rainforest for lumber and resources so it's nice to see what's protected.
Thanks for watching 🙌🏼 Yes, A lot of Costa Rica is protected, thank goodness. I haven't heard about China buying up rainforest specifically. Thanks for stopping by. Pura Vida ❤️
Hi Edna! The climate is hot and humid. Pure tropical weather. (On average around 30 degrees Celcius) Light clothing are a good idea. Bring bug dope as there are many mosquitoes in this park. Also bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, plenty of water and your camera!!!! :)
Hi. Thanks for watching. I did this hike without a guide but there were guides at the entrance that were available to hire and they spoke English ( as many of the guides in CR do). What town will you be staying in? That will help me to locate a guide for you.
The road to Carara National Park is paved. It is a major highway that goes to Jacó (highway 32). The park has a safe parking lot and attendant. I don't know the cost of a guide as I have not myself used one here. If you email me at bikehikebotany@gmail.com I can send you a map and some info 😁
As a big fan of Anthurium this channel is what i am looking for! Greetings from Indonesia!

What is the climate like? Mosqutos and bugs? Any suggestions on clothing and products to make sure you are protected? Any info helps, thanks!

And normal sneakers were fine for this hike. The trails are very well maintained.
Thank you so much! Beautiful video!
@@ednacosme4272 You are quite welcome and thank you so much for watching. We appreciate it very much!🌿🌿🌿🌴
Hello. Thank you for this interesting video. Could you recommend any English speaking guide for this park ?

Do you know how much the guides cost? I will go there by car. Is the road to the park paved as my car is not 4x4? Thank you
