DIY: Cardboard Furniture/ Cardboard Chair/Sofa, how to make :

- Hello. Filrst thing I want to say that you can always change the design and colours of thses cardboard furniture. Its totally up to you. Whatever i liked I did . But if you don't like these colours or wanna leave it plain white colour you can do it.
You can use cushions if you want.
This is not just for show off. This is a proper sitting sofa chair. It is hard and strong enough to sit for anyone.
You need to be careful while making it. Fill all inside of the cardboard with other cardboard pieces. Do not leave it empty from inside otherwise it will bend and break of course. So need to fill with cardboard pieces from every side of sofa like sitting part( most important), sides and back. Use good amount of white glue or wood glue to sticks parts with each other. Things I used are:
CARDBOARD
Colours: light turquoise( Somehow light sky blue) , teal, white, golden.
Markers to draw:
White glue
Hot glue
Wood shiner

+Narendra Sharma i prefer to use hot glue. Because homemade glue has little bit water so it can make some places soft on cardboard. I use homemade glue for small projects . Otherwise you can use homemade to make chair also but do not leave any extra water in glue.

Lol. Why do some people think this is fake? Just because it's made from cardboard, doesn't make it fake. IKEA has much stuff made with only cardboard , so people wake up!

Craft with Creativity ..I can't seem to get the glue mixture right. Seems like it didn't really stick that much to the cardboard ..my measurements are always a lil off too it gets frustrating lol making everything exactly the same. You do wonderful work . I look forward to your videos!

+Desiree Campman do not folkow my measurements . I just measure my sofa and i made lil less smaller than the normal sofa. So make it woth your ideas. Where you want to put it make measurements according to that place or just measure any sofa or chair.
Second if you want to stick cardboard with cardboard use thick white glue or hot glue. I used both. And put pressure on it and give it some time to stick. Do not use too much liquid in glue otherwise it will damage the shape of cadboard and surface will not stay equal. If u have any other questions feel free to ask
Craft with Creativity thanks for your input. I just have trouble with making all the pieces the same lol..one is always bigger or smaller than the other. Maybe I need a sharper knife ? Yes I use my hot glue gun for sticking cardboard. After everything is finished..when covering it with newspaper. What's the mixture that you use to paste the newspaper ? I didn't do exact measurements ..but I used elmers glue and water I made it kinda thick but ..it didn't really stick all that well ..it was my first time trying to make a larger piece I made like a side table. I usually make just small desk organizers n stuff like that jewelry boxes..time to move into bigger things lol
