There are special cables just made for the smooth 4 that charge the camera from the gimbal battery. Flat and with twists one the ends that fit so well you can't even see them when mounted. I got mine from China if you want I can look up and provide a link. 30 bucks but worth it.
ITs nice I had to turn off stabilzation in my phones camera app, otherwise I get overshaking.. also with Filmic Pro you can do vertigo, when you go into manual mode, press the center button to get to it, change to focus, set the zoom point A on the wheel and the focus point B then when you press the right wheel, it goes from zoom in/out preset and move forward.. also can do the same with focus and the lighting.. really nice a shift from blur from one subject to the other while moving to the right or left .. learning more every day..
hmm this filmic pro app , i have some doubts too how use ful it is . when it seems that if you settings are made on the phone then the smooth gimbal can then cope ? let me know if i am wrong ?
Interesting thing about the wheel zoom on Android devices. While it is choppy and not smooth, the zoom by touchscreen is amazingly smooth. This makes me think that there is a simple bug in the app that doesn't do value clamping 0.0-1.0 properly. I wouldn't mind making bigger movement of the wheel, if zoom was smoother in the result, ie: zoom steps per turn were differently set.

Just got it last night. I am still exploring it however I do wish they had a joy stick. For example I want to able to tilt up the camera angle as I am moving forward. How can Zhiyun not have a joy stick to control tilt an pan? Other than that I can complaint since I just got it. It looks well built and lots of features in the app as we'll as on the gamble.

You gotta watch your step, work on it. Practice will tell. Then you can use a digital stabilizer function like Warp Stabilizer in Premiere to make it better. Another thing that also works is slowmotion, everything feels smoothier this way.
Hey i wonder about your opinion this zhiyun smooth 4 vs moza mini mi? I have interest with the rack focus ini zhiyun, but is it really good and usefull? Is it really work in android? Moza mini also have Inception mode so i wonder which one is better in your opinion mister...?

why did my zhiyun smooth 4..cant lock the brightness..it always changing during i was recording...its automaticly changing..being dark..being bright...for many times...(sorry bad english)
Light and small? He is comparing with the crane. If against other mobile phone gimbals, I think the smooth 4 is one of the bulkier and heavy choice. I cannot carry it one handed for prolong period

You can set it to lock mode and rotate it manually.
