This update sounds promising. I've been on the fence about buying the Smooth 4 due to sub-optimal integration with Android. Does this new update fix that? Do all these new features work on all (or just select) Android phones, or are iPhone users getting preferential treatment as before?
Sorry guys, really wanted to like and use this, but unfortunately my Sony zx 2 premium has a curved back placing it far forward and does not seat properly in the grip grooves. Hope this gets an update in future model, will definitely purchase it.
@@ZhiyunTechGlobal thanks for replying. I apologize as I meant THE SMOOTH 4. The curvedback on my phone will not let it sit flat up against the grip. Needed just a little more depth to fit securely.

I own one with smooth q and my friend with smooth 4 we have same issue with battery life... mine from 12 hours to 15 minutes... i contacted zhiyun through email and no response with my concern... beware buyers!

The FilMiC Pro requires Google camera2 api but Sony doesn't open it , which makes Xperia phones are not supported

Since there is no joystick on the Smooth 4, you can try to use full follow mode instead.
