To me, saving the extra $10 on an already spectacular deal isn't worth that chance.

Always has been. I’ve been doing it 20 years. I bought a boxed Turbografx for $10 once. You think I should’ve told them “what they had”? Then I don’t know what to tell you. I appreciate every view I get including yours but if the bargaining bothers you then this may not be the show for you. This isn’t my job or anything. I just game for free. And Im only here to show others they can do the same.

Found a shop in mall that sells old video games thinking I’d find something game, I seen they had Dirt 3 and black ops 1 for $44 each. And walked out lmao

Pokemon XD freezes at the title screen and some of the PS2 stuff won’t boot past the logo. So buffing will be required. And that’s touchy on gamecube discs. I still have to attempt the repairs but I hope it’ll work out right!
The heavy hitter for me is undoubtedly Metroid Prime. Being CIB, it's worth far more than $40 and it also happens to be one of the best GameCube games. Nice pickups, anyway 👌✌👍

A lot of times they wouldn’t have gotten much more. Sometimes obviously they could’ve. But with 20% fees, sharply rising shipping rates and then being on the IRS’s radar, a shortsell to an individual is light years easier than what I have to deal with.

I just love Elder Scrolls games! I was also happy to see Medievil but I would be curious to see if that's a big scratch on top of it on the left. Because if it is, it might not be salvageable! Man, you said it! I bought a case logic book of ps2 discs a few years back, NONE of em worked. Seller said they did. Took a lot of negotiation to just get down to like $35 and it ended up being a total loss. I knew I could buff them but that didn’t fix any of them. That’s why I try to get people down on their prices. I can guarantee you there are more dishonest sellers than there are honest ones.
The Walmarts here just don’t adjust to clearance prices under $20 on games. It’s a bummer. But when I travel, I always check local stores just in case…

Not sure if you noticed it, if you pay attention next time on various youtube videos... go and actually look up comps for yourself and see...I wont name the channel but I did a video on it, posting fake inaccurate comps for items they arent actually buying in their video. People do this to amp the price up so when they go to sell that same item on whatnot it might fetch a higher than usual price.
I actually like your take on this. It’s certainly one existent perspective. What I do is undercut market values when listing for sale. That, along with just adding to the supply vs demand in the first place, actually brings prices down. My comps on screen are always averaged ebay numbers from the given month. I try to be as accurate as possible. The purpose of this show is to empower you all to go out and hunt the wild like I’m doing. There’s so many flippers, so many youtubers, you can’t do anything about it really. You can’t beat em so you might as well join em. It’s the collecting for me. Not really the money. I don’t need the money. I don’t even make very much. But the viewerbase on TH-cam started to want financials in the content. It looks like that’s changing again. Honestly, this is really hard work that I don’t have to do. Especially if no one enjoys it.

Nah, the Gamecube games need to be resurfaced because they freeze. We’ll have an update video on that. Gamecube games seldom survive resurfacing. So don’t listen to narratives out there about paying everyone retail and singing kumbaya. You gotta look out for yourself when investing. I get done wrong at least once a week. I don’t dwell on it. It’s the nature of the back alley deal. The only reason you should pay market value is if you’re online and getting a guarantee.
I do not appreciate you telling people to not support ma an pa as we do own our own store and we do not over price our games I get some do but most corporate places like gamestop or game exchange they will price stuff high and not care but telling people not to support them because one is over pricing isn't good or helpful for people like us that do care for the community.

Id argue they’re not for anyone. They aren’t game dealers like in the 80s and 90s. They’re just resellers paying rent. It’s not a viable option for affordable collecting and there’s nothing wrong calling it what it is. It’s not like I bear those places any ill will. But they’re competition. Just like a butcher wouldn’t buy his meat from another butcher.

I've been killing it at yard sales and Facebook pick ups, not so much flea markets. I got a minty copy of clock tower for PS1 yesterday in a lot of other games for 65. Apparently a lot of people do blame me! But yeah, there’s nothing wrong with minimizing your investment costs. I get a lot of defective stuff over time. It’s why the haggling is 2nd nature.

So, you’re totally not wrong. You can definitely take bargaining too far so you make a really good point. An interesting thing that has come to light since this is the Pokémon XD doesn’t work. yeah your welcome bro, people hyping retro and making it about the "money aspect" pushed up all the prices to the point people have them more expensive then ebay at shops and flea markets....your welcome! thank all the youtubers flashing comps on the screen like machine gun fire...and posting higher than usual comps to further inflate the price. Not sure if you noticed it, if you pay attention next time on various youtube videos... go and actually look up comps for yourself and see...I wont name the channel but I did a video on it, posting fake inaccurate comps for items they arent actually buying in their video. People do this to amp the price up so when they go to sell that same item on whatnot it might fetch a higher than usual price.
I actually like your take on this. It’s certainly one existent perspective. What I do is undercut market values when listing for sale. That, along with just adding to the supply vs demand in the first place, actually brings prices down. My comps on screen are always averaged ebay numbers from the given month. I try to be as accurate as possible. The purpose of this show is to empower you all to go out and hunt the wild like I’m doing. There’s so many flippers, so many youtubers, you can’t do anything about it really. You can’t beat em so you might as well join em. It’s the collecting for me. Not really the money. I don’t need the money. I don’t even make very much. But the viewerbase on TH-cam started to want financials in the content. It looks like that’s changing again. Honestly, this is really hard work that I don’t have to do. Especially if no one enjoys it.

Nah, the Gamecube games need to be resurfaced because they freeze. We’ll have an update video on that. Gamecube games seldom survive resurfacing. So don’t listen to narratives out there about paying everyone retail and singing kumbaya. You gotta look out for yourself when investing. I get done wrong at least once a week. I don’t dwell on it. It’s the nature of the back alley deal. The only reason you should pay market value is if you’re online and getting a guarantee.
I do not appreciate you telling people to not support ma an pa as we do own our own store and we do not over price our games I get some do but most corporate places like gamestop or game exchange they will price stuff high and not care but telling people not to support them because one is over pricing isn't good or helpful for people like us that do care for the community.
I never said anything of the sort. I never once said don’t support mom n pop shops. I said don’t travel too far to them. Because odds are you’ll be disappointed. And that’s 100% accurate. If you don’t overprice your games, then that’s great. I’m happy to hear that.
By saying don't travel too far can still hurt ma and pa stores lot of people watch your channel I'm just saying some people might take it the way I did.

Id argue they’re not for anyone. They aren’t game dealers like in the 80s and 90s. They’re just resellers paying rent. It’s not a viable option for affordable collecting and there’s nothing wrong calling it what it is. It’s not like I bear those places any ill will. But they’re competition. Just like a butcher wouldn’t buy his meat from another butcher.

I don’t rip anyone off. & Definitely not kids. Don’t buy in to someone’s narratives. You want me to explain a deal on paper? I can do it for you. Like this deal. Surprise! Pokemon doesn’t work. May not be salvageable. You look out and don’t over invest. As for ripping off kids? The last kids I bought from, I made $2.50 each on their games. Their parents approved. The kids shortsold their stuff and happily spent that cash at the flea market. I’m not this monster villain people are trying to portray me as and I see no motive to do so.

It is, except for one scratch which apparently did more damage than I would’ve imagined. But Gamecube games can be difficult like that. Listen, I know you don’t like me very much.
