    Hands down this is my favorite GOT episode. I feel like it's the culmination of things fans have wanted for the longest finally pay off in this episode. From the shifting of power, characters meeting their deaths, secrets being revealed. This episode literally feels like the end of a second act, while going full circle to focus back on the 3 core families: Starks, Lannisters & Targaryens. Still the best GOT finale...to me. 😏

    Yasss! I was bored waiting on y’all to upload, I have no life but that’s okay 😭😂. Cersei loves her children more than anything, I think after tommen let all that shit happened to her she was pretty much over it. She loved him but she knew he was too weak to be king, I think she was definitely upset that he died but what’s done is done it’s time to move on.

    Aemon : " What is honor compared to a woman's love, what is duty against the feel of a newborn son in your arm, or a brother's smile "
    He was hinting that Ned chose to protect Jon ("newborn son") because he loved a woman, his sister Lyanna Stark. This is why Ned was super emotional when Jon asked him about his mother in season 1.

    Your discussion about Arya and Jaime was really interesting. It just goes to show there are only a tiny amount of truly innocent characters in Game of Thrones. Jaime and Arya are not innocent. I'm sure if Arya's mother and father could see her now they would be disappointed. At the same time, Rob had a point about Jaime and Cersei. Cersei committed genocide. Yes, she killed her enemies but there were a lot of innocent people at the sept and outside the sept. Not to mention she just killed members of her own family - her uncle and cousin. She committed the act that Jaime killed the Mad King for and if Jaime continues to stand by her then he truly is Cersei's bitch.
    Also, this world isn't as simple as 'there are good people and bad people'. It's not the Lannisters are the villains and the Starks are the good guys. There have been awful Starks in the past too. How do you think they came to rule the North? By playing nice?

    "The Targaryan Prince kidnapped Lyanna Stark, and when the Stark men petitioned the Mad King for her safe return, he set them on fire." One of the first things you learn in this story is why the revolution happened. This book was written in 1996.
    In story, NO ONE so much as suspected that the mysterious, random baby Ned Stark brought back to Winterfell was Targaryan's child with Lyanna, if only because every man felt relieved that the most honorable man in Westeros was just as capable of having a bastard son as they were.
    But for the audience, S06E10 relieved a TWENTY-YEAR WAIT to have this simple fact confirmed: that if a 25-year-old man kidnaps/spirits away a 15-year-old princess and they are alone together for a year, maybe, just maybe, the main character is their love child. XD

XD 17, in college, bought it from a pile of books at the bookstore, on the phone with my best friend like, "I just finished this book where the main character DIED 3/4s through and now all his kids are fighting to survive, where is this story going?! One was pushed out a tower cuz he saw the villains having an affair and one is engaged to the villain's kid and one is Beyond the Wall -- what's beyond the wall? I don't know, but its killing people and bringing them back as ice zombies! And there are dragons!"

      The original baratheon was aegon the conqueror's bastard brother, so there is a close link between the targaryns and baratheons. The reason the red women thought stannis was the one with “kings blood” is because Stannis and Robert had a Targaryen ancestor.
    Kings blood=Targaryen
    Jon is more Targaryen than stannis and so is true king! 🙌

    • @arlaalfrost8445
      @arlaalfrost8445 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jr Smith putting on my tinfoil hat 🎩 it makes the most sense, nothing actually states it to be true however i think it’s the most widely accepted theory.
      Tbh it’s probably old Valyrian blood, with Targaryens being the last blood line.
      I mean if it’s not then what constitutes as kings blood? It’d be very subjective, so this ^^ just makes more sense 👍

    • @Mic-Mak
      @Mic-Mak 5 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      Arlaal Frost That’s not entirely true. The Baratheons may have Targaryen blood but Robert was legitimately king of Westeros whether we like it or not. His heir was Stannis whether we like it or not. Even if the Baratheons didn’t have Targaryen blood, anybody related to Robert has king’s blood because he’s the king.
      Jon Snow is therefore not heir to the throne and neither is Dany. Robert won the throne by right of conquest. He defeated the Targaryens who were the ruling family. Just like Aegon the Conqueror conquered the 7 Kingdoms by defeating the ruling kings of Westeros.
      He had no legal right to do it but he won so it doesn’t matter. Similarly, once the Targaryens lost to Robert they no longer have a legal claim to the throne. They can try to gain it back but they have no legal claim to it.
      The writers of the show were wrong to say that but they dit it to please the casual viewer who represents the vast majority of the GoT audience.

    • @ericp1139
      @ericp1139 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      King's Blood means Valyrian blood, since Aegon is known as THE King. The title of King can be passed, but blood cannot. If there are any other relatives of Valyrians, they have King's blood as well. I theorize Varys might have Valeryian roots, as his blood seemed to be valued by sorcerers.

    • @arlaalfrost8445
      @arlaalfrost8445 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MicMak yeah that’s true, but the whole idea of kings blood is so convoluted and subjective.
      Like if it is literally “who has legal right to the throne” then does that mean some random person could have “kings blood” if they were named heir?
      The red women uses “kings blood” for magic for the lord of light. So that probably means the blood has some magical properties, so it just makes so much more sense that it’s Valyrian blood as they were known to be advanced in science and magic (dragons, valyrian steel etc...)
      With Targaryens being the last true valyrians they are the last with magic blood.
      I mean I could be wrong, but magic blood makes more sense to me than legal right. I mean it’s game of thrones, there are literal dragons and ice zombies 😂

    If you want believe that the Iron Throne rightfully belongs to the Targaryens (they're the ones who created it to begin with) then Daenerys is the rightful heir because she's a trueborn Targaryen. Jon is a love child and Rhaegar was married to Elia Martell at that point. IDK if y'all noticed but there were Martell and Tyrell ships with the Greyjoys and the Targaryen ships which is why Varys was there again, he got more allies for Daenerys. As for Jaime, I read his expression as more as shock, disappointment, and confusion. He's definitely not happy that Cersei did what she did, especially since he worked to make sure the Mad King didn't do it. The old three-eyed Raven said that Bran will not become an old man in a tree so no, he won't be in a tree lmao, he plans to go to the Wall to meet with Jon. And whoever compared Arya to Cersei/Jaime must have forgotten about Arya's list and why she's been doing the things she's been doing since season 2.

    Cersei loved her children, but she also knew about the prophecy from Maggy the Frog since well before they were born. I think she at least expected that her children would die before she would, after that... but by the time that Myrcella had died, that would have clinched it for her: Tommen would soon be next. Joffrey's early death wasn't entirely unexpected: he _was_ a monster, and Cersei _was_ aware of that, and the enemies he had made as a result; it wasn't yet an indication that her other children would die so soon afterwards. Once sweet, innocent Myrcella was murdered, though, Cersei would've _had_ to have known that Tommen's same qualities wouldn't protect him from harm, that he would be collateral damage as she clashed with enemies in her bid for more power. She was fiercely maternal while her motherhood lasted, but she couldn't set aside her ambitious and rebellious nature (which has been coloured by some antisocial tendencies), and that was ultimately her children's downfall.
    Cersei grieved their deaths in advance because of the prophecy from Maggy, so she was able to move on swiftly with the next chapter of her life, which was reclaiming the title of queen from Margaery, but this time as a queen _regnant,_ not a queen _consort_ like she was to Robert. She had tasted power as queen consort and liked it, lost the throne when she became the "queen mother"/"dowager queen" after Joffrey ascended to the throne, lost even _more_ power over Joffrey to his behavioural issues, then to Margaery's seductive manipulations of both him and then Tommen... and finally, she made the most of the situation after Tommen killed himself so soon after she blew up her other major obstacles to influencing him directly (had he not killed himself, she would have gained power through him again because he was still a 14 or 15 year old boy, and she had eliminated competing influences in his life. She didn't plan for his death to be so immediate, she clearly tried to avoid actively killing him herself, but she also clearly wasn't surprised at his response to his wife being blown sky-high).
    Had Cersei not been forced to fulfil her duties to her family by marrying Robert Baratheon and bearing "his" children, I think she would have actively avoided motherhood due to the prophecy, and instead pursued a more traditionally masculine, powerful role in life, like Jaime had done. One Lannister heir forfeiting marriage, family lands, and supposedly forfeiting having children (in order to maintain his incestuous relationship with his sister) was pushing it as it is, though. Tywin was really pissed off about Jamie joining the Kingsguard.

    Wellz stop it man your trippin you know it isn't the same thing at all, when you align yourself with a cause or take a certain position you in turn accept the responsibilities that come with that. If the guard didn't wanted to be chopped up by the enemy he should have been stronger or better ''don't be a guard'' cause that is what comes with the territory. Rob, Patrick and DC even broke it down for ya 32:55. Anyways I enjoy the vids yall put out!!! I'm a Big Fan of RT TV the reaction/banter is dope 🔥🔥🔥 love the passion keep growing and doing the great work !!! Big Up 💯 from the Netherlands ✌🏿

      @Stephie_L 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel like the only ones not spoiled are Jerry & the guy in the black shirt. At 6:36 the other 3 guys give each other a look...they already know what's going to happen to Walder Frey. I know the guy in green has watched it all but at this point I already don't trust Pat's reactions for sure. It really ruins it...plus the reveal about Jon as you said...really annoying...

    I'm pretty sure there's a scene next season that solves that Arya vs "innocent" guards/ soldiers argument.

    Arya turned around with her sord to pretect herself. I agree she didn't perposly want to kill him, thats why she was suprised. He was gonna take her to cerci! so panic and her need to pretect herself was in her mind, i have to pretect myself. no i dont think she ment kill him u could see it on her face bro.

      So, what about the girl? The one serving dinner to Walder Frey? She was just living in the castle, because she is dead now (since Arya took her face) She was inocent and now she is dead.

    LOL. We're six seasons into Game of Thrones and arguing about a code of conduct? The show has shown us over and over that those who adhere to a code of conduct die. Those with the stones to act from an honorable place - die. Doesn't matter who's innocent or who pays to play - Ned, Robb, Jeor Mormont, Shireen, Barriston Selmy, Hodor, Rikkon...even Jon Snow. Dead. So what does GoT suggest we do about that? It tells us through Davos Seaworth: Good. Now go fail again. Martin seems to suggest that there is no right way of *being*. Only being...and its alternative, the Army of the Dead.

    Dude in the green just gave away the season finale for next season. Should have just said that she had a baby (not with Robert) and kept it a mystery. Cause that’s a fun reaveal next season.

      Who didn't get that Rhaegar was the father.....?

      BRIA none of them got that Rhaegar was the father. Hell, they didn’t even know who he was. I don’t know what these guys talk about after the episodes are over, but they certainly aren’t getting the nuances of the show..

    Hey! Yo Guys. Love your GOT videos. Im currently re watching the reactions videos on TH-cam because my Mum is now watching GOT. So Ive gotta catch up on the major plot lines on each phone call with her. Its a lovely experience. You guys help me to blast through each episode and get the general remiinder of what happened. So thanks for that. You dudes are super cool in your reactions. Anyways..sorry to blabber on... the reason for this post is to say Im 14 min into the video, and you guys nailed the Jon Snow Targyrian bloodline thing straight away! Awesome! Loads of other Reaction videos are about a month slower than your squad! haha! So thumbs up, to your groups mental sharpness. Keep up the quality Output! Love from Scotland! X
