- Nokia is a Finnish multinational corporation founded on 12 May 1865 as a single paper mill operation. Through the 19th century the company expanded, branching into several different products. In 1967, the Nokia corporation was formed. In the late 20th century, the company took advantage of the increasing popularity of computer and mobile phones. However, increased competition and other market forces caused changes in Nokia's business arrangements. In 2014, Nokia's mobile phone business was sold to Microsoft.
On 18 May 2016 Microsoft sold the Nokia-branded featurephone division to FIH Mobile, a division of Foxconn, and HMD, a new company in Finland. Nokia provided its brand and patent licensing to HMD, and took a seat on the board of directors.

And then Nokia 5233 after that Nokia C700 then after Nokia Lumia 800 then Nokia Lumia 625 and after that the last Nokia Lumia 920 . But still love❤ Nokia but sadly now they don't makes phones
HMD will do multi branding, Nokia phones will also be manufactured as well as HMD phones.

4 years ago I bought a Nokia 6.1 Plus and then bought a Nokia 7.2 Without a protective sticker and without a protective frame, I use these phones without any hesitation or extensive use Nokia has a very beautiful design and smooth use, and you do not need to maintain these devices... Nokia innovates a lot, but people are negligent and like to buy scrap devices from other companies.

My first nokia phonr is Nokia Asha 305 in 2012 March . I still remember it has 2mp rear camera but picture quality was good and battery backup also good. Then in 2014 i bought Nokia Lumia 520 that phone was ahead of its time because it has 512 mb ram which runs all heavy games smoothly and windows 8 UI is nostalgic. Then in 2016 i had bought xiaomi phone which was good for that time because lumia didn't support 4G 😅. Then in 2018 Dec I purchased Nokia 8 Sirocco curved display phone. I used that phone in October of 2023 Hands down one of the best phone ❤ ever and Now i had Nokia G42 5G which is nice phone but not feels great like my previous Sirocco phone.
What's there in the name? The build quality of the phone should be strong. Bought a smartphone made by HMD, Nokia 6.1, which I still have and it is working fine. Now HMD should launch 5G phone with good processor. There should be no compromise with build quality Then definitely HMD will be successful.

To be honest the only software in the world , windows Phone doesn't hang or lag.
NOKIA should be bought by someone Indian company & revived in the budget section first just like Lenovo did with MOTO a dead giant again rose from grave & same can be done with NOKIA. NOKIA can do wonders in the under 20K market if it does like the MOTO with nearly stock android UI.

If Nokia (or HMD, whatever) is shut down, it will be good for customers... Based on my experience, Nokia phones are slightly overpriced. If a Nokia phone costs Rs.15k, there are dozens of other branded phones at same price with more advanced features. Not that Nokia phones are of superior build quality, but they are expensive with outdated features.
I think, You never used nokia phones. Whatever the specs nokia mention in their box is inside the phone, not fake marketing like chinese phones these days.
