+Hattori Hanzo Nah, he doesn't really care about that belt that much. He values his own opinion more. It's more about being right, and having his opinion be "respected". It's a personal fault. Knew a guy who was smart as hell, and when he'd get in arguments and someone treated his opinion with disdain he'd blow up. I think Spencer has picked up on that, and used it to his advantage. In the "will it last fight" he clearly got under Dan's skin and effectively whittled down Dan's argument to a stat that Dan used, and then intentionally misused that stat to disarm him.
You really think they 'retired' the old belt for any other reason than Dan not wanting to lose it? They also stopped counting losses as soon as Dan had lost. Coincidence?
+Austin Long bc he's not losing anything important lol. plus Andy did give that last one to Dan. You can't just give someone a win for a film they haven't even seen. sloppy and boring finish guys.

Effects - If world of warcraft does well then we could accept CGI If it does not we will have Avatar the last airbender or dragon ball evolution. We need the director of Avatar to do this. - Pokemon has a very animated feel to it. Most likely only a somewhat realistic anime might work like cowboy bebop, ghost in the shell, heck even FMA could work but Pokemon is very bright and unrealistic which is what makes it fun. *This will either be really bad or groundbreaking*
+Crystal Rose the way they depict a Pokemon losing is their eyes go swirly. I don't know how you'd show that in live action, without the animals being completely battered and bloody.
In the manga they show health decline through the Pokedexes as a health bar. Thats a possibility. There is the theory that pokemon are considered energy which makes so much sense but anyway thats not the point. The point i was getting to was that the pokedexes show that decline so they don't get injured and it makes sense.
Chris was absolutely right about Interstellar being better the second time, the more you watch it the more things to appreciate you find, but there aren't any new flaws so it only gets better.
Americans always underestimate that there are fanbases in other countries of things that are not popular in the U.S. like Pokemon, which is probably the biggest anime fan base of all time, not the best anime but it has the biggest amount of people that know and love it.
+M.Valle198 The real problems are the characters and effects. that won't make it successful. this large fan base will riot and tare it apart. +M.Valle198 if you never lived in the usa don't say that. i lived in the us till 9 and later came to live to portugal and went every summer vacation to the us and pokemon was the biggest thing in the 90's and early 2000's. chris is the youngest one in the room unlike the rest of those guys that are in their late 20's and 30's so it's normal that they never got into the pokemon universe unlike chris.
For the "will it hold up" fight, I was REALLY hoping Dan would've picked Jurassic World. Because even though I enjoyed that movie, I don't think it will hold up even 5 years from now, much less 10 or 15 (plus I know how much Dan hated it and would love to talk smack about it).. Either that or Age of Ultron, because people have ALREADY stopped talking about that movie and it just came out earlier this year. Hobbit would've been a great choice too.
As I've said in my own comment above, I personally said "Django Unchained." What are your thoughts, since you seem somewhat informed in recent filmography?
+Daphne Klajman Yeah, I love the show but as soon as a question like "Best Sci-Fi weapon" Or "Which character from the history of ever would win..." The answers being Light sabre and STAARR WARRS" Interestingly in the live shows where the audience voted Star Wars lost a lot. Maybe they don't know their audience as well as they think.
Wombat JO That's true! I'm not a big fan of Star Wars myself (hope no one murders me rn) but I understand such questions since the movie is about to premier...
Don't worry you are not alone, I posted a comment on movie fights a couple of months ago asking if I was alone in my not blindly worshipping Star Wars got over a hundred hits either agreeing or fairly allowing that viewpoint. You know outside the internet we maybe in the majority. (Shush don't tell anyone I said so)
Quantam of Solace was 1 of the very few movies that made me fall asleep while watching it in the movie theater. This was BEFORE I had a sleeping problem.
+Josh Wilkins everytime he fights for the belt andy saves him from elimination. hes the best but even the best lose sometime. his record is obviously thanks to andy
Calvin Candie please try to reason andys judging in the Bond round and tell me he gave a super vage answer why dan won. He has done this all over the place when the belt is on the line for the past year
vanasco la porta I dont think any of them were great that round so I am up in the air. But Dan was robbed of the first round and the interstellar round.
That was amazing guys, like literally so much fun to watch! Congratulations to all the fighters, they were all making very good arguments throughout the fight. However, what I love most about movie fights is how seriously everyone takes it and you could really see everyone trying their hardest to win that belt. Props to Dan. You're a legend. Thank you Screen Junkies! Looking forward to the next one
I'm very appreciative that you moved Movie Fights to Saturday. I'm stationed in Stuttgart Germany and due to the time difference I couldn't always enjoy MF's on my days off. It's a moot point now as I'm a Screen Junkie's Plus member! Keep kicking butt!
avengers 2 age of ultron wont hold up in the next ten years, it was terrible, even though it made a ton of money, the story was a mess and ultron wasn't a big threat in the actual movie like he made to seem in the trailers.
if they had only stuck with the concept of ultron instilling fear and chaos like we were shown in the trailers, it wouldve been so great. make it so the finally is like him trying to kill the lovers of ghe avengers: jane, pots, hawkeye's family, it wouldve been like HE took the fight to them, so they cant go avenging, a better staked plot than the genetic billions dying...
+storm325 You're right Ultron wasn't a real threat but i disagree I think It will hold up fairly well 10 years from now. But There are some absolutely stupid scenes in the movie
well to me, t seemed that it was just similar to the first Avengers movie, fight evil guy, fight army, win by having an objective i.e: First avengers is to shut the portal with scepter, second Avengers is to prevent Ultron from detonating the center-link fuselage. Ultron in the comics, he controls every piece of technology, he's suppose to be the Skynet for Marvel studios, him having a disposable army without any other technology doesnt make him a really big threat, and this is why Ultron wasn't as good as the hype everyone wanted.
It would be fun to have Mike on movie fights even though he'd almost certainly lose the speed round...I can't picture a quick-thinking Mike...who's fuckin with my meds? Who wants a pizza roll?
I have to say I've seen every episode of movie fights, been here since day one. you guys are awesome to watch, I love the fact that your network is taking off. Best of luck to you guys.
Dan looks so desperate to win that he isn't having fun until things start going his way. I know he's a good arguer, but he's not as much fun to watch these days.
+bobthegrinch They don't call him Dan "The Mad Man" for nothing :D I like that he is bringing the heat. Sure wouldn't be fun on every movie fight, but I like the serious fights from time to time as well. And usually he is right when he gets treated unfairly... then again, that happens to everyone at some point.
+bobthegrinch i completely agree. he's one of those guys who always have to be right and have absolutely no sense of humour about themselves. you can have good arguments and still be enjoying yourself. i'm not going to watch movie fights anymore when dan's fighting, he's become unbearable to me.
If the Expanded Universe wasn't turned into the Legends-verse, Grand Master Luke Skywalker would trash just about ANYONE in a "Hunger Games-esque" match up.
+Amogh Rao I think Spencer should have lost because he said animation is limited (lol) and that they only had 22 episodes per season.. that amounts to 8+ hours vs 3 hours max per book.
+Josh Jelks +brandonlc050 I really appriciated that Andy didnt go with Dans view of things. I didnt really see where Dan got his arguments from either, the whole thing about "not enough time had past"-argument was so cheapasly made up just so his other arguments would work... idk, just glad he didnt get the point :d
Chris Stuckmann might be my favorite Movie Fighter. He always explains things so well and calmly, and doesn't usually get really pissy. I'd love to see him in more studio episodes from now on rather than just at conventions!
+Robin Maibals I think it's adorable how much he cares lol- either way, he's the best fighter and deserved the win. I would have given him the Interstellar point as well.
its dumb when dan is losing an argument so he spins and twists an opponents argument into not counting///like in this when he was like "the timing is what matters" etc....yes it does...he never makes a god argument...he spins opponents
+Patrick Kent Actually Dan should have won by more, he clearly had the best choice and argument with Interstellar, Her is just a fantastic movie and Amazing Spider Man isn't held up high, if anything it's hated on consistently, especially after everyone saw #2.... how did Andy pick Chris on that one? Also the 1st one should have went to Dan as we can already just watch the amazing Last Airbender tv show and same with daredevil, but we don't have a great adaptation of the World War Z book.
This is what makes Movie Fights great, when you have intelligent and funny guys such as Dan,Spencer, and Chris giving solid arguments! Everytime that idiot Mundy is on it comes off as a joke and waste of time.
Mundy really has to focus more, and at least try to pick something that might get the point, but he has the right attitude for this show. It is all about movies, it is all for entertainment, it is all fake, so why taking it too seriously?
+Jonathan Macias But this show is supposed to be FUN guys.... with wacky fun conversations.... We don't need a 90 minute show full of serious arguments... you got to let the FUNdy in there as well!
+Pipi pipona ye, but Mundy is just too much usually. And he could still be entertaining while actually preparing for the fight and take it semi-seriously. It annoys me that he doesn't give a shit about it at all.
if YourMoviesSuck guy did, then they definitely would. Plus Jay was on 2 ScreenJunkies videos already and Mike & Jay contributed to the Dark Knight Rises Honest Trailer.
The best live action adaptations of an anime I've seen are the (currently) three Rurouni Kenshin films. Not as good as the source material but definitely very enjoyable.
Windu beat palpatine in a lightsaber battle. He was clearly the best at lightsaber duels, and his purple lightsaber shows that he know both sides of the force. He was also willing to kill the helpless emperor.
I recently have been watching these fights while making flashcards to study Japanese (I know, kind of a weird way to study, but I don't have to concentrate while making flashcards), and I just want to suggest something that I would love to see: more foreign (ie., not just Hollywood) movie fight topics! International movies are rarely touched upon, and I know that most international movies aren't as popular as Hollywood, but I just think having an occasional question about, say, kung fu movies, or French movies, or some kind of international movie would be really interesting! Also, about live-action adaptations of anime--there have been many decent live-action adaptations of anime in Japan (and other countries), as well as many stinkers. I mean, the live action Hollywood Dragonball movie is dissed all the time, but there was a Hong Kong version and a Korean version too! So many treasures and crapfests from around the world to discuss!
every episode every damn episode Andy complains that it's taking too long saying its longest episode yet does he have to be somewhere else seriously get a different host if he's doesn't want to be there it just really freaking annoying
not sure about the new studio, but they were renting the old studio and I am pretty sure he was concerned with them either delaying some other shows or being charged extra for the studio time...or he just doesn't think that the audience has the attention span to sit through an hour and a half episode
+Joe-C Incorporated I think he's just afraid that the demographic wouldn't like episodes that are too long, which I think is not true but he might be listening to a so called social media expert of following bullish best practices, I'll give him teh benefit of the doubt on that . Andy is still doing a great job and his comments on time never really bothered me.
+Dani De Santa i agree with you because JJ Abrams is realy good director when it come's to SCI-FI because he also love's that stuff just look what he did with Star Trek he got Star Trek a new life and made it cool again and also just by looking of Star Wars trailer movie look's so awesome
El Pinguino every TF cartoon (Armada/Cybertron, Prime, G1, Beast Wars, TF Animated, etc.) is miles ahead of the movies. that said i do love all of them eccept Animated and Beast Wars (dont like and never seen respectivley)
the last time she was the judge, i felt she made really good and balanced judgements. my opinion was based on that episode. and yes, she is hot, but that was not a parameter for my opinion. of course she needs to judge a couple more fights before she can be a serious contender for the role. hal is good at it too, now that you point it out.
Shyam Parakkal ye, those two seems like they were the best ones. I also quite liked Kristian harloff, but i don't see that happening, he seems like a very busy dude.
Dan was super nervous, stuckmann looked a bit tired I think he can beat Dan but Chris needs to get better with speed round, spencer is also good and hilarious great fight!!!
the speedround questions are very obviously rehearsed between andy and dan no one would come up with those movies that quick. and andy will die before seeing the belt go from dan
thanks guys! Extra time wasnt an issue, was well worth it. love these guys, great panel. spence and dan are great together! I vote seaquest!!!! Used to enjoy that show!
For the 90s tv show to get a movie treatment I would have went with Disney's Gargoyles. The show went with a very mature route as far as creating a mythology and great plotlines that dealt with some really dark themes. That along with the action and well thought out characters like Goliath, Demona and Xanatos would easily lend itself to a movie adaptation whether it be animated or even live action with CG gargoyles.
Spencer doesn't understand what makes Her so great. Compare Her to ANY romance film from the past 15 years and you'll see why it will still be considered a masterpiece in 10+ years. It's so obviously not a good film just because of the "man falls in love with OS" aspect of the story. It is perfectly written and directed. It's a sci-fi film that isn't just about space, aliens, etc. It's about how relationships evolve and how people get over past loves. The film isn't just saying that being in a relationship with an OS is weird and that's where relationships are heading. It's an extremely layered film that will still be good in 10+ years even if it only seems relevant to today's society. Fun fact: Spike Jonze wrote the film about his relationship with Sofia Coppola. Many films from the 40s and 50s are still considered masterpieces. What's different about Her? If anything, the technology will look a lot less dated in 50 years when compared to 2001: ASO, Alien, and other old sci-fi films. "Spider-Man is a timeless character." Yeah, okay. A guy that wears a spider costume and fights crime will be just as popular in 100+ years. Who knows what will be popular in the future? But you're just being biased toward what YOU like. Not everybody these days likes comic books and their film adaptations. Good films and characters can be made without CGI, action, monsters, etc.
+Ben Grieve He even said it himself that you could exchange the OS with a person or anything else really and it would still work. Strongly contradicting his statement that it's specifacly about OS and our relation to them nowadays.
laz kar I never actually said I didn't like Spider-Man. My point is that it's apparent that when it comes to Movie Fights, everybody must love comic book adaptations. These films are often very flawed and yet, people still treat them like masterpieces just because they were entertained for a few hours. If Her is going to get crapped on, I think it's only fair to point out the flaws of overrated comic book adaptations as well. Also, why does it automatically mean that somebody is "pretending" when they don't like superheros? It's okay if somebody doesn't like Spider-Man. (Yes, I know you could say the same about Her. It just seems like these kinds of films never get talked about on Movie Fights and when they do, they get crapped on.)
To be fair, Spencer never said 'Her' was a bad movie, what he means is that the context being 'Her' will fade away over time and in maybe 20 or 30 years from now, the fears of 'are we being to close to our phones' won't be as relevant and the movie will be looked on as a very 2013-ish movie. We will look back on these fears the same way we look back on VHS tapes, is what Spencer means.
Ben Nixon And I think my point is that it's not just about that. There are tons of great romances from decades past that are still looked at as good films today. (Annie Hall, Moonstruck, etc.)
Nonetheless, I think he answered the question better than Dan and Chris did. I felt like Dan and Chris picked movies that they personally didn't like that a lot of people do like.
Yeah, stuckmann is going to remember that. He tried to pull the "I review movies, so I'm more knowledgeable on this topic" card, and as we all know dan thinks movie fights is a pro sport, so he wasn't going to let that go. No matter what. I think stuckmann knows more about the nuts and bolts of film, and dan is a more articulate debater. But dan would never give stuckmann that nod. He's too competitive to do so.
I love how right behind Ken, who was fantastic on the DanCam by the way, is a poster for doctor strange based directly off of the imitation game's poster and not one of them even thought of the imitation game, even chris who spent all that time pondering his answer, but i guess that's the pressure of movie fight.
About Interstellar: "They're only concentrating on the good parts" Yeah and you're only concentrating on the bad parts, the so many HUUUUGE flaws, eeh no. The so called "flaws" are just the type of flaws that you can expect a troll hater with no life talking about on an IMDb message board. "Oh plot holes this and plot holes that!" SHUT UP NO ONE CARES! "It's for love" Well if you say it like that of course it sounds stupid, but if you really watch how the movie portrays it, it's not a flaw at all, it's just a bit romantic that's all. I don't see the point of nitpicking all the time. Just watch and enjoy ffs. Interstellar will hold up just as well as Star Wars. It's a masterpiece of combining visuals and music. People love it because it's a great film, not because it's just a Nolan film.
No movie is without good or bad, it's just about on whether to good can overshadow the bad or can't. And yes interstellar has some great thing about it and for some people that enough for them to love it, but for some people there are very clear flaw on that movie and seeing flaws in a movie is in no way an indication of a troll hater is just an indication of someone that watched a movie and didn't like some parts in it, it happens in absolutely every movie ever made. And the same with plot holes, it might not bother some people but it absolutely can bother some other people and they have every right not to like it for it.
+Barca 97 "Directing=great. Acting=great. Cinematography= great. Visuals=stunning. Music=incredible. Storytelling=ambitious & innovative. Movie=masterpiece. Plot holes: WHO CARES?" Mind you, this is with love as I am a Nolan fan...... Directing=Solid, but not great Acting=Serviceable (wooden in the case of Damon) Cinematography=great (wouldn't argue that one) Visuals=Beating a dead horse^^ Music=Solid, but mixed way to loud over the dialogue Storytelling=Interesting with multiple WTF? moments Movie=Good, but far from great.....
One of the best fights really enjoyed the well organised and long and concise arguments. Plus very hesitant to do any subscription based service, as i experienced with things like Love film and WOW that after I have done a few weeks of them i get bored and it feels like money wasted. However with this screen Junkie Plus thing i feel you guys are being appreciative of your audience by doing the thanksgiving thing ( Im British so i don't get it but hey free stuff :) ) and the 3 month or something free trial. Plus all you guys are really interesting and i get a lot of my analytical skills from watching your guys' show, so defiantly gonna sign up right away thanks for being appreciative to your audience and making great content. - The O.G
+Juan Carlos Orellana the question was what movie in the last five years won't hold up that's like telling chris to get over that bond film because it's old
+Juan Carlos Orellana Except Dan's Interstellar argument got shot down by everyone else. The consensus on this show was that Interstellar was a good movie that will hold up. I disagree with that. I think Dan was right. But he was in the minority this time around
alienator345 they're don't really believe that's true, specially Spencer who hates the movie, they just bring his argument down because they want to win
+Clyford Sinclair The money is not only for the content itself but also to help them to fund the shows themselves rather than relying on third parties for money
Did anyone honestly think he would allow Dan to lose this???? Dan gets so angry I really don't think he will EVER allow him to lose a "title match" This clearly means more to Dan than the other fighters and he allows him to win "Title matches" every time because of that. He's totally bias when it comes to Dan in "Title matches"
The Bond you can make the argument for, Sea Quest I'd have to disagree. I wasn't on board with that. I watch every episode of their shows, the only episodes I already know the outcome of before even watching is when I see Dan on the panel for the belt. Even when he lost and the belt wasn't on the line that one time, Andy had to explain to Dan over and over why he lost and why he made the decision and then repeated to apologize to Dan for not picking him for the win. He never does that with anyone. I'm just saying the fix is clearly in lol
I woulda gone Gargoyles for American animation over animaniacs it could be tooled much better for film animated or live. And since Buffy already had a movie id go with an Angel movie since David Boreanez is a real vampire. Have you seen that guy? he hasn't aged it's crazy!
Imagine a mace windu stand alone movie, there is tons of expanded lore stories about the character and a story about him trying to create the lightsaber he had a vision about by travelling to a hostile planet to find a rare purple crystal.
heyyy they made the movie fights dream panel!!! well,at least MY dream panel, and i remember having a convo in the comments section some time ago, and i sure others are happy with this panel as well. *three thumbs up*
lmao i know this debate took place last year but it's awkward that the dude in the hat was so sure marvel would never make an r rated daredevil film with all the "blood and violence", and now deadpool just came out...rated r. with all the blood, violence, curse words, and sex scenes you could imagine.
19Wylds95 oh well wouldn't my original point still stand? why would it be such a stretch for them to make an r rated daredevil film when the netflix show has *a lot* of violence in it? or is that different?
i hate to say this... but jar jar would win the hunger games.. he could just chill underwater the whole time and eat algae and fish and stuff.. wait it out while everyone else kills each other
OMG I love this guys, they are the most civilised I've ever seen in Movie Fights, they all let each other talk, they make really good points, I wish they could always be there...
Let's have Ken more on the show, he's very funny!
+AlexRejba If Dan was ever to resign, he would be the best for the job
+AlexRejba yeah, he brings a funny side to the Fact Checker.
+AlexRejba Ken is great
+AlexRejba agreed, i didnt think i would laugh this much on fact checks. More of him please!
+AlexRejba Put Ken's twitter on the description...
It's fun two see Chris' pitches became actual movies in 2019. Well, kind of.
I was going to write this exact comment, but then I saw yours. lol
@@elimgarak4667 I love watching these old fights.
@@heatheraggus7501 Girrrrl, same!!!
Wouldn't be surprised if Dan was a serial killer. That underlying hidden rage starts to peak out when he doesn't get his way.
+Arkansauce76 I think he overvalues that belt.
Lol yea
+Hattori Hanzo Nah, he doesn't really care about that belt that much. He values his own opinion more. It's more about being right, and having his opinion be "respected". It's a personal fault. Knew a guy who was smart as hell, and when he'd get in arguments and someone treated his opinion with disdain he'd blow up.

You really think they 'retired' the old belt for any other reason than Dan not wanting to lose it? They also stopped counting losses as soon as Dan had lost. Coincidence?
+Billy Sotherden dude stop it with the deleting reply stuff it's like the 3rd time you said that to someone.
The real winner here was Dan's neck vein.
"Seaquest is dumb." That was the best rebuttal of all time. I did like the first season though because it was something different.
i feel for spencer he is the only one who doesn't get butthurt when he loses
I'm with ya. He's my fav fighter.
Spencer's the best. He's such a good sport.
that's that "everybody gets a trophy for participating" attitude. what's the point if they don't care about losing.
+Tkj Clovis maybe they aren't here to win and they just want to talk about movies with other passionate film goers.
+Austin Long bc he's not losing anything important lol. plus Andy did give that last one to Dan. You can't just give someone a win for a film they haven't even seen. sloppy and boring finish guys.
Definitely Jar-Jar Binks
or the Ewoks
C3po
probably Jabba the Hutt. His physical abilities make him very dangerous.
+Beesweet definitely jar jar his sith skills would throw everyone off with his drunken fist style.
+timothy kurz His Drunken fist is so great, he has surpassed Rock Lee's.
Pokémon would never work as a live action film, it's about kids capturing animals and forcing them to fight. Fine in cartoons, cruel IRL.
+Joseph Chang

The real problems are the characters and effects.
Characters:
-The main characters are meh and it might be better if they were aged up just a bit not adults but child actors can be bad so just enough so it makes it better.
-There are a lot of female characters so picking may be a challenge since the community is divided
-Personally i think it might be better with some of the manga characters.
Effects
- If world of warcraft does well then we could accept CGI If it does not we will have Avatar the last airbender or dragon ball evolution.
Thats a possibility. an already gritty and realistic one could.
+Crystal Rose I'd love to see Psycho Pass be live action
1:22:27 - Chris is right. When you watch all of the Bond movies in a row, "A View To A Kill" stands out as miles worse than any other.

+Cole Tushinski Jurassic world *already* doesn't hold up, lol
+Cole Tushinski I wished someone would've said Frozen.
+doody magoob So does Amazing Spiderman
+Cole Tushinski I'm curious as to whether people will think Kingsman holds up in 10 years, or even 5. Same for Fury Road
you guys should get Maude Garrett on a movie fight
+Nick 0831 Every answer, no matter the question, would be: STAR WARS!
+Daphne Klajman Best Movie where The main Character Dies
Maude: Star Wars
Best Modern Director
Maude: Star Wars
Best Disney Princess
Maude: Leia
(Shush don't tell anyone I said so)
Dan, Spencer and chris are great movie fighters! 👍🏼⭐️ passionate, funny and smart but not disrespectful. Great⭐️
Quantam of Solace was 1 of the very few movies that made me fall asleep while watching it in the movie theater. This was BEFORE I had a sleeping problem.
what a surprise, Andy giving the win to Dan again...
I'm sorry if Dan presents the best arguments or if the result of a game show offends you
+Josh Wilkins everytime he fights for the belt andy saves him from elimination. hes the best but even the best lose sometime. his record is obviously thanks to andy
vanasco la porta whatever
Calvin Candie please try to reason andys judging in the Bond round and tell me he gave a super vage answer why dan won. He has done this all over the place when the belt is on the line for the past year
vanasco la porta I dont think any of them were great that round so I am up in the air. But Dan was robbed of the first round and the interstellar round.
Wait it's not Sunday, I don't think I can do this today, it doesn't feel right
I watched it live a couple days ago. It felt gooooood... :P
I really thought today was Sunday when I got notified from this.
I wouldn't say it sucked. I thought it was great, but it should have been better for all the hype.
well to me, t seemed that it was just similar to the first Avengers movie, fight evil guy, fight army, win by having an objective i.e: First avengers is to shut the portal with scepter, second Avengers is to prevent Ultron from detonating the center-link fuselage. Ultron in the comics, he controls every piece of technology, he's suppose to be the Skynet for Marvel studios, him having a disposable army without any other technology doesnt make him a really big threat, and this is why Ultron wasn't as good as the hype everyone wanted.
The movie isn't that highly rated to begin with. Unlike say The Dark Knight Rises.
You should get those "hack frauds" from Red Letter Media to do a Movie Fights; especially Mike Stoklasa. I would cry tears of joy!! ;D
It would be fun to have Mike on movie fights even though he'd almost certainly lose the speed round...I can't picture a quick-thinking Mike...who's fuckin with my meds? Who wants a pizza roll?
+bluehedgehog1995 Susan is hot.
"shrimp? shrimp people?" Spencer is hilarious
I have to say I've seen every episode of movie fights, been here since day one. you guys are awesome to watch, I love the fact that your network is taking off. Best of luck to you guys.
Classact by Spenny raising Dan's arm at the end. Bravo!
Dan looks so desperate to win that he isn't having fun until things start going his way. I know he's a good arguer, but he's not as much fun to watch these days.
I disagree; makes it more competitive and fun to watch
+bobthegrinch They don't call him Dan "The Mad Man" for nothing :D I like that he is bringing the heat. Sure wouldn't be fun on every movie fight, but I like the serious fights from time to time as well. And usually he is right when he gets treated unfairly... then again, that happens to everyone at some point.
He was super aggressive. Didn't care for that.
+bobthegrinch i completely agree. he's one of those guys who always have to be right and have absolutely no sense of humour about themselves. you can have good arguments and still be enjoying yourself. i'm not going to watch movie fights anymore when dan's fighting, he's become unbearable to me.
beatniece Gabriel Subia and everyone else...What's the name of the show you're watching here?
Chris did not look like he enjoyed himself at all. Damn shame, because all these people are fantastic debaters.
I agree. Jahns never does either. I hope they both retire from movie fights.
+Jesse Bowman Do you watch his videos? Thats how he always is.
+Jesse Bowman Does he ever look happy though? lol
I vote for Rob Walker to be a guest. He seems to be better at debating than his brother.
Chris mentioned at the beginning how tired he was and that the sooner he could leave the better.
It's amazing how much better this show is without Mundy.
+Mark Radulich LMAO!!! Agreed
Or Rudnik
You take that back!
Agreed
Mundy should never come back, nor Mantz
If the Expanded Universe wasn't turned into the Legends-verse, Grand Master Luke Skywalker would trash just about ANYONE in a "Hunger Games-esque" match up.
Angriest Movie Fights I have seen so far.
For real, there was so much underlining negativity. Especially between Dan and Chris.
@@Freeonyx Between Dan and everybody. He's so unnecessarily hostile when people disagree with him.
Dan should've definitely won the first round
Right. I was surprised he didn't win.. So thorough.
+brandonlc050 Spencer definitely deserved that tbh.
+Amogh Rao I think Spencer should have lost because he said animation is limited (lol) and that they only had 22 episodes per season.. that amounts to 8+ hours vs 3 hours max per book.
+assman767 they have more time to make 1 movie than too make 1 ep, that's what he meant
Dan shakes and pouts to victory!
+Robin Maibals I think it's adorable how much he cares lol- either way, he's the best fighter and deserved the win. I would have given him the Interstellar point as well.
Stuckman's wife is cute.
+Ivex Rodriguez Hell yeah she is
WTF?
ETrevolutionX2014 what do you mean by WTF (and I'm not asking what the letters mean)?
Not really....
+Ivex Rodriguez She is.
This was fun to watch! Also the first Screen Junkies video i've seen. stoked to watch more!
andys man crush for dan is getting really annoying
Dan obviously won it though
He actually robbed dan of a few points
its dumb when dan is losing an argument so he spins and twists an opponents argument into not counting///like in this when he was like "the timing is what matters" etc....yes it does...he never makes a god argument...he spins opponents
I was gonna like your comment but then you dissed the great and powerful Mundy!
+Jonathan Macias Totally agree with you, even Andy thinks that...
It annoys me that he doesn't give a shit about it at all.
wheres Red Letter Media
Mike v Jay v Rich in movie fights...the winner gets a pizza roll
I just want Mike & Jay vs Dan or something like that. Rich is great, but I doubt he'd be interested in doing this.
+LalidatorClan I doubt mike or Susan would be interested in this. They're too laid back.
if YourMoviesSuck guy did, then they definitely would. Plus Jay was on 2 ScreenJunkies videos already and Mike & Jay contributed to the Dark Knight Rises Honest Trailer.
+VietnamD0820 comment on this webzone and I'll email you a pizza roll
Wow! Great episode, they fought with everything they had. Thanks for making the content available to test this week, I'll check it out
This episode is hands down, one of the best imo. Great debates going on here.
Chris Stuckmann did not do a good job at arguing in the Star Wars round, otherwise he was solid
Keegan C the lightsaber was purple because Sam Jackson wanted to point himself out on screen... That's it
Great episode with the best candidates!
I liked ken on the cam
+Kyle Mongan Agreed, would like to see him do it again.
+Kyle Mongan Yeah he's awesome
Watched her in 2019- still holds up.
every episode every damn episode Andy complains that it's taking too long saying its longest episode yet does he have to be somewhere else seriously get a different host if he's doesn't want to be there it just really freaking annoying
I agree. Just plan for 1.5 to 2 hours and be done with it.
not sure about the new studio, but they were renting the old studio and I am pretty sure he was concerned with them either delaying some other shows or being charged extra for the studio time...or he just doesn't think that the audience has the attention span to sit through an hour and a half episode
13:36 "They will never make a R-rated MCU movie" -Dan Murrell. Well, how the turntables have turned.
Came to the comments to see this, thank you! Took some time tho
I'm here for the Sea Quest fight and so are you.
In my opinion, Transformers should get a remake (set in Cybertron, NO humans and directed by J.J. Abrams)
yes
+Dani De Santa oooooh good pick! no Bay, no people, and on Cybertron would be great
+Dani De Santa i agree with you because JJ Abrams is realy good director when it come's to SCI-FI because he also love's that stuff just look what he did with Star Trek he got Star Trek a new life and made it cool again and also just by looking of Star Wars trailer movie look's so awesome
El Pinguino every TF cartoon (Armada/Cybertron, Prime, G1, Beast Wars, TF Animated, etc.) is miles ahead of the movies. that said i do love all of them eccept Animated and Beast Wars (dont like and never seen respectivley)
+Dani De Santa god, stop already with transformers, even the old cartoon isn't really good
need another judge for the next championship fight. alicia malone maybe.
+Shyam Parakkal More like Hal rudnick, thought he was the best judge by far, everyone just wants alicia because she's hot, understandably so.
the last time she was the judge, i felt she made really good and balanced judgements. my opinion was based on that episode. and yes, she is hot, but that was not a parameter for my opinion. of course she needs to judge a couple more fights before she can be a serious contender for the role. hal is good at it too, now that you point it out.
Shyam Parakkal ye, those two seems like they were the best ones. I also quite liked Kristian harloff, but i don't see that happening, he seems like a very busy dude.
Nah the judging seems fine they all got to the speed round evenly, and Andy could have been out voted by the other two
+Oskar Wernberg he'd be ICONIC.
Why is Memento being remade? The movie is perfect!
Isn't it obvious? 🤑🤑
+supergamer5121 Sadly, yeah.
+GDXgames - geometry dash The movie sucks in my opinion, but it certainly doesn't need a remake.
+Bryan T I can see why some people don't like the movie, and I respect your opinion!
It didn't make sense to me either, as Memento is not a money potential filled franchise.
Long time viewer, first time commenting, just gotta say loved this episode and easily top 3, arguments were clever and just bravo all round
Great fight from everyone, and great moderation from Andy!
Toughest 80's character named John?
John Rambo,
John McClane,
John Matrix
Jill Tillerman John McClane
Dan was super nervous, stuckmann looked a bit tired I think he can beat Dan but Chris needs to get better with speed round, spencer is also good and hilarious great fight!!!
+Gilbert Ugarte Stuckmann has to travel to get to screen junkies studio so im not really surprised he was tired.
the speedround questions are very obviously rehearsed between andy and dan no one would come up with those movies that quick. and andy will die before seeing the belt go from dan
Obviously Anikin would win the hunger games, because he has so much experience killing children.
Bless this comment it is amazing
thanks guys! Extra time wasnt an issue, was well worth it. love these guys, great panel. spence and dan are great together! I vote seaquest!!!! Used to enjoy that show!
I hope a fan makes a suit of Movie Fights armor that they can battle over. A Belt just doesn't seem like enough .
Is this the first time we've see Chris's wife's hair?
+Ben Grieve she ugly
And now we have, “Detective Pikachu”
Well, it’s not based on the show
I hated Spectre and I'm looking forward to the Honest Trailer that tears it to shreds.
Dan and Spencer have to be participating in every movie fight. Too much fun watching their antagonism
Chris called the live action Pokemon movie and the Hobbs movie.
Amazing
"Well I'm sorry people said something mean to you on the internet." Jesus Dan, that was harsh.
+jim bob I think Dan was justified in saying that in reaction to Chris's comment.
I love it when these three are fighting. It all sounds so calm, coherent and logical.
I love how right behind Ken, who was fantastic on the DanCam by the way, is a poster for doctor strange based directly off of the imitation game's poster and not one of them even thought of the imitation game, even chris who spent all that time pondering his answer, but i guess that's the pressure of movie fight.
Its just my opinion, but Chris's wife is ALOT hotter with glasses and without all that makeup.
Interstellar is pretty shit tbh
lennertstaels Directing=great. Acting=great. Cinematography= great. Visuals=stunning. Music=incredible. Storytelling=ambitious & innovative. Movie=masterpiece. Plot holes: WHO CARES?
+Barca 97 Exactly
Plot holes: WHO CARES?"
Mind you, this is with love as I am a Nolan fan......
Directing=Solid, but not great
Acting=Serviceable (wooden in the case of Damon)
Cinematography=great (wouldn't argue that one)
Visuals=Beating a dead horse^^
Music=Solid, but mixed way to loud over the dialogue
Storytelling=Interesting with multiple WTF? moments
Movie=Good, but far from great.....
Isn't movie fights usually on Sundays o.0
They've moved it a day earlier
+Gabriele I'm not complaining :)
I watched it live a couple days ago on SJ+, and the after hours show where you could Skype in and talk to Stuckmann and the rest.
I was there...I'm the Dan Cam Couch.
Quantum of Solace is my favourite bond, I loved the artistic flare!
- The O.G
the Abyss was decent underwater alien movie..
Laser DuChamp saw it recently and it was more than decent. IMO it was amazing, which I think u can thank James Cameron for.
I don't know why Screen Junkies it's still butthurt about Interstellar. Let it go guys, it's been a year, move on.
But to be fair, it does suck and it definitely won't hold up
+Juan Carlos Orellana the question was what movie in the last five years won't hold up
that's like telling chris to get over that bond film because it's old
I think interstellar shouldn't get as much hate as screen junkies gives it
+Juan Carlos Orellana Except Dan's Interstellar argument got shot down by everyone else. The consensus on this show was that Interstellar was a good movie that will hold up. I disagree with that. I think Dan was right. But he was in the minority this time around
alienator345 they're don't really believe that's true, specially Spencer who hates the movie, they just bring his argument down because they want to win
How much money per month is plus
+Devin Radzely 5 per month, but if u pay the total 59 of the year in advance u get a 2year for free.
+Devin Radzely +naxonesbet
yep, $5/ month, $59/ annual, more details here: www.screenjunkies.com/
thanks!
+Clyford Sinclair k then don't watch it
+Clyford Sinclair The money is not only for the content itself but also to help them to fund the shows themselves rather than relying on third parties for money
+Jay Jay He has a point. $5.00 is a bit much considering they already make a good amount off of sponsors, and the ad revenue and views from youtube.
YES! *ANIMANIACS* movie!!! Perfect answer, Spencer!
Excellent speed round. the two best against each other. Love it!
Movie that needs to be remade and ruined everyone's favorite cartoon.... The Last Airbender!
+Amogh Rao put this before Spencer said it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Amogh Rao no you didn't
+Amogh Rao dragon ball evolution
+Joseph Lockhart haven't seen it
+Amogh Rao NO GOD NO NO NOT AGAIN
Watching a bunch of old movie fights and this one's really awkward
+jason w yeah, it's all too obvious. and quite sad really.
This was awesome! Dan and Chris are the Exact same person!!! More of their battles please!
One of the best fights! These three guys are my favorite, I want more fights with them three!
I love Stuckmann, but he seems uncomfortably stiff when he's in this kinda setting.
Man this ruined sundays for me :( Waiting on the new moviefights has become sort of a tradition
Baywatch movie being cast, What other 90s TV shows should get a movie?Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
+Aaron Lee Seaquest trumps all!
+Aaron Lee Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a movie before the TV show. And it was the worst movie I've ever seen
I woulda gone Gargoyles for American animation over animaniacs it could be tooled much better for film animated or live. And since Buffy already had a movie id go with an Angel movie since David Boreanez is a real vampire. Have you seen that guy? he hasn't aged it's crazy!
+Andy Shick gotta say I think he meant with the same cast. Don't ever re cast Buffy man that would be the ultimate foul
*three thumbs up*
Damn why was Dan so pissy?
Amazing Spider-Man was boring in my opinion. Saw it at the cheap theaters and never watched it again. And still want my $3 back
lmao i know this debate took place last year but it's awkward that the dude in the hat was so sure marvel would never make an r rated daredevil film with all the "blood and violence", and now deadpool just came out...rated r. with all the blood, violence, curse words, and sex scenes you could imagine.
+Andrena Malik deadpool is made my 20th century fox. disney owns daredevil.
disney owns daredevil? uh are you sure about that buddy?
+Andrena Malik you know hes right dont you? Disney own daredevil, they own marvel studios who have the rights to daredevil
19Wylds95 oh well wouldn't my original point still stand? why would it be such a stretch for them to make an r rated daredevil film when the netflix show has *a lot* of violence in it? or is that different?
+Andrena Tautala he was saying they wouldnt make an 'MCU' Rated Daredevil movie because maybe half of the mcu movie viewers are kids
I was not a fan of Seaquest growing up (I'm a Trekker), but Dan actually legitimately sold me on it. Good on you.
Great panel, great topics, great arguments! :) Really enjoyed this episode. You guys were unfair to Dan on round 2- I want an underwater sci-fi film!
Spencer is my favorite
CHRIS STUCKMANN WINS FAIR AND SQUARE!!!!
i hate to say this... but jar jar would win the hunger games.. he could just chill underwater the whole time and eat algae and fish and stuff.. wait it out while everyone else kills each other
OMG I love this guys, they are the most civilised I've ever seen in Movie Fights, they all let each other talk, they make really good points, I wish they could always be there...
“okay i’m sorry that people said something mean to you...” 😂😂😂😂 Dan is a LEGEND for that
