03:31 “Return of the Sith”. I would have booed her off the stage.
Me too. That's like the interviewer who called C3PO, 3CPO. Lol 😆 🤣 😂
They should’ve used one of the recliner theatres for this considering how long you are in the theatre for
Exactly. I’m stunned they didn’t, and I’d be super disappointed about that.
That’s what I was thinking. Why would they not do that? Why have those theatres available for relaxation but not for viewing 24 hours of movies? Whoever made the theatre decision needs to be put in that position so next time they won’t.t make that decision.
Why didn’t they start the marathon at 9am? There would have been way less sleep casualties for at least 60% of it.
That was everyone’s biggest complaint
@@ThemeParkExpress I would do it if it started in the morning. Or I guess I would do some prep work -like napping a few days before and long nap the day of.
I did the one at the El Capitan in Hollywood and it was like this. It started at 10am on the 4th and ended at 10am on the 5th
I was thinking the exact same thing. They should of started it at 9 am.
That's one reason why I didn't do it. I'd be asleep during the Original Trilogy. And I'd probably end up leaving after RotJ .
I find it funny the claps during each intro gets smaller and smaller from 1-8
You can think of that last 2 movies as the hardest part of your Jedi training. Thanks for bringing us along!
The Jedi trials were rough!
Jedi. I would have probably taken a 2 1/2 hour nap during TLJ.
“Master Skywalker, there are so many of them, what are we going to do?”
*Anakin ignites light saber*
*applause*
The fandom’s humor is unmatched 😅
It's insane that you drove all the way to Tampa after that. You're a real JEDI Master!
That drive was rough but I had my water and some snacks to keep me awake
I would have left after ROTJ
That's exactly what my wife and I did! No need to stay after that!
My theater that was doing the marathon was completely sold out so I watched it at my dad’s home movie theater room and it was a great experience and I was exhausted.
Adrian - how much was a ticket like this? All said and done, how much was this with food and drinks? This is indeed only for the best JEDIs around. Enjoyed this vid!
i think this just became a bucket list item for me lol. thanks for being a trooper and recording your experience 🫡🫡
Definitely a unique thing to do! Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love your demeanor and your outlook when you do these videos. You're doing a great job
Great job JEDI! If you ever attempt to do something like this again you should try and get a room on property to crash at. I'm sure that drive was rough but I'm glad you made it home ok. Thanks for sharing your experience!
I highly considered it but with it being a Saturday night almost all rooms that were available were pretty expensive in the area
You earned a new subscriber saying you despise the sequels 💪 i feel like the hardest part after this was the long drive home!!!! Great video! 😊
That's sad that they did the movies that way. So many people didn't get to see the originals in theaters. That's what I would have wanted to see.
Jedi Adrian, thanks for taking us along with you on this journey! You had the ultimate movie watching set-up, the only thing missing was a comfy pair of crocs 🤣
Crocs belong in the trash, my friend
@@ThemeParkExpress Touche. Along with the new Star Wars saga.
😂😂😂@@ThemeParkExpress
We just had a community orchestra concert on May 5th and played the Ewok celebration song and duel of the fates with a local community chorus. Both were a big hit. We finished it off with the end of a star wars medley from episode 3. Some of our members brought costumes and props. It’s fun to see how everyone celebrates May the 4th with different events. The marathon in the theatre sounds like fun. As a former night shifter I would have probably cat napped in between movies. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Brutal man!! Wild you made it!!
this reminds me of the event my dad and I did at one of our amcs before the pandemic when they had a Toy Story movie marathon to watch the new 4th one at the time so the first 3 were shown a break in-between then we watched 4. it was fun
I'm surprised they didn't have their terrace open for the event. Also, a Star Wars pajama party would have been epic. Glad you finally saw Ep 1 and 2 on the big screen!
My wife and I did this same marathon last week in Dedham, Massachusetts. We left after 15 hours and didn't stay for the most recent trilogy. It was just too much. Congrats on making it through the whole thing.
I'm a rare fan that loves every single movie 😂 I'm definitely doing this if it comes back next year!
Jedi! Great video
From attending various 24 hours sci-fi/horror movie marathons back in the day, I've learned that coffee and nodoze is your friend during these things.
I get horrible cramps and the runs when I don't sleep. I used to work third shift 25 years ago and it was hell.
Jedi.
Thank you for your coverage of that marathon. Had I known about it, I may have tried to participate also.
“We just got done with The Last Jedi, I don’t want to talk about it.” 😆 Kudos to you for making it through the marathon.
Jedi! Thanks for documenting this! Looks like fun, but very exhausting, especially considering the start and end times. I can't believe you drove 1-1/2 hours home right after it finished! Mad props, and still enjoying all your cruising videos! 👍
Notable Highlights
- 8:45 Hello There!
- 8:55 Master Skywalker, there are too many of them! What are we gonna do?
- 13:37 I am your father!
- 16:06 Hayden Christensen Anakin
It's great to hear and see applause for some of the most memorable moments of the franchise. The ending of Return of the Jedi is a standout because it seems that people have grown to love Hayden Christensen much more now, whereas him replacing Sebastian Shaw was one of the most infamous changes made to the film.
I very much share your sentiments about The Force Awakens in particular. It was a great start to the Sequel Trilogy, and a solid testament of how much potential it had. I don't inherently hate the Sequels, but I completely understand where all the gripes and complaints come from. Y'know, could you imagine if people booed when Rey said "Rey Skywalker" at the end of Rise of Skywalker?
Jedi, I would of left after ep 6, you are a true legend for going through all 9.
I would have left after 6 too.
Guess I'm the only one here who loves Episode 7 (which makes it even more infuriating that Episode 8 and 9 are terrible).
I really enjoyed this Vlog and am super jealous that I did not do this too! It looked like such a fun time also proud of you for sticking it out through the last 2 movies , I would have too but it those 2 are so disappointing it would have been a challenge! I think I will do a Marvel one if they do it , but I bet the Star Wars one is more fun with the fans and clapping and cheering !
You did it! 🎉Jedi
Im getting a headache just watching this video! I could never do anything like this! That poster is cool though!
I laughed so hard when everyone cheers for Anakin ignites his lightsaber to kill the children I was like "Oh nooo"
Jedi - “In a dark place we find ourselves, and a little more knowledge lights our way.” - Yoda
I have always loved the first 6 films and many of the shows. Ah, the memories.
Jedi! i was following your journey through twitter now youtube, great video Adrian!
Dude I haven’t seen a video of yours pop up in my feed in a wicked long time! I thought you may have walked away from TH-cam. Awesome to see you again.
………I would’ve left after Episode VI
The foot rest! Brilliant idea!😂
Everyone around me loved it!
You're a true JEDI Master...nice work going the whole saga...and then a 1.5 drive home!
Oh those poor concessions people. I hope they got through it ok. Was there different people on the morning than there was at night? As a movie theatre employee myself I can sympathize with being there late at night.
I did this marathon too, fellow Jedi! (Different location) Managed to stay awake for the whole thing. Was also excited for the films I had never seen in theater. Podracing, ROTS opening, Death Star trench run, Victory celebration were among my favorite standouts this big screen occasion. ANH was my favorite for this watch, even though I generally favor some other Star Wars films over it. Good stuff
19:50 it’s hilarious how no one clapped after episode 8
I'm lucky enough to have seen every Star Wars movie on the big screen during their original releases. I hadn't seen ANH or ESB on the big screen since those opening runs and finally got to see them again on Disney Fantasy for Star Wars at Sea and they were as incredible as I remembered them.
Edit: I guess I need to leave the word Jedi here? 😉
Peoole cheering for the youngling slaying is crazy ha
Can’t leave the location? You can pee and get food. Meh, not a big deal.
Those breaks between the movies probably was so brutal! All of the combined break time makes for another movie in length. Would have me losing a lot of energy waiting for the next movie to actually start. They should have turned the lights off in the break rooms, especially because people couldn't leave before 9! Congrats for pulling it off and great poster you got for doing it! I would have definitely left after the first six movies myself, I think Rise of the Skywalker is way worse than Last Jedi but none of the sequel trilogy are worth watching.
I went to the Dark Knight Trilogy IMAX event, still have the laminated ID, Ticket and Batarang they gave out!
Jedi!! You did it!! Amazing!!
Jedi! I hope you got loads of rest after your marathon!
Jedi. You are the MVP. Can't believe this was even a thing.
Very impressive, JEDI. I would love to do this sometime but not if it starts at night.
Jedi! I wish I could have done this! Not available in my area to do. So cool!
Had something similar in Los Angeles and it was $135, couldn’t make it to the sequels, wasn’t worth the sacrifice lol
Jedi! This was amazing to watch 😊
Jedi! Most impressive, it was!
The sleeping crowd sounds like a Jonestown reenactment lol.
Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi are the G.O.A.T Great job Adrian!🥰🙌🏾
Jedi! I wanted to try this, but there wasn’t a theater close enough to me. I enjoyed your vlog!
It helps the sinuses in AC environments if you take Flonase (or generic CVS brand) allergies nasal spray. The spray coats your sinuses and keeps them from drying out and getting the scratchy throat feeling! If you’re not allergic to glucocorticoid, the active ingredient in Flonase, you’ll find it helps!
Funny how The Last Jedi starts and there is little applause. But in fairness, you said a lot of people left.
This is a great video thank you for doing this. I wish I could’ve done it. I’m wondering though I one question for you. I hope you respond the concessions. I know they were open the whole time, but were they free with the price of the ticket or do you have to keep paying for for the for the popcorn and whatever food you got and drinks you got what it included the price of the ticket or included more pay for concessions after the initial payment of concessions I’m just curious I’d really like to know if that was the case that really would have been worth it! Or if you had to pay more for concessions, was it a discount price at least?
Way to go the distance Adrian 🎉Jedi for sure !
When they gon do this for Fast and the Furious franchise
An epic adventure man . Glad you accomplished it and wish I would have done it instead of going to galaxy’s edge . Also the fact that you sat thru the horrible Last Jedi after being there all day is “impressive …most impressive “
That final stretch was a STRUGGLE!
I think I did it at the same theater as you, had to drop out after a new hope as I had other stuff to do that weekend. Fun expierience, I would do it again, though hopefully better prepared for said marathon
Jedi-we were in the theater the night you started seeing a different movie, our bartender told us what was happening. I haven't done a movie marathon since civil war but will be looking for them in the future.
Jedi!! You’re a real trooper. I probably would have done it if it started at 9am or something 😅
Awesome video! One dedicated Jedi
Hey Jedi, so glad you made it all the way through! 😅
I really appreciate you watching!
How exciting
you are a true Jedi!
The sleep deprivation is why I don’t like to partake in these extreme marathons anymore. Especially the older I get. When I do feel watching these back to back I will do one daily.
I'd need a lot of concessions for this. It would be fun to try. I remember falling asleep at the 12 am show for the revenge of the sith. Saw Dukoo get his head cut off and fell asleep.
You really killed that marathon. Congrats.
I would love to do this if it was Harry Potter.
Oooo me too!
@@ThemeParkExpress you ever get the large tub of popcorn with free refills?
I don't think I can do that marathon in a theater. My favorite Prequel movie is Attack of the Clones. My least favorite is The Phantom Menace. My favorite Original movie is The Empire Strikes Back and my least favorite is Return of the Jedi. My all time favorite is a tie - Empire & Clones. My least favorite Star Wars movie is Rise of Skywalker.
Yeah, this definitely would have broke me. Maybe 25 odd years ago when I was in my 20's I could have done it.
Thanks for this Vlog - I can't stay up all night any more...
I live in Australia - they had 2x marathons over the 2x days but only the first 6 movies and wouldn't have been overnighters...
I looked at the times, whilst Saturday started at 2:30 pm and Sunday started at 9:30 am. I considered going but I realized I'm a little too old to stay up late or watch marathons esp. when I can't pause for a break LOL
We had a long weekend so could've caught up with sleep, but I still decided to stay home and watch the movies when I want
Mind you the only ones I haven't seen at the theatre are the last 3 - is now the time to confess that haven't watched the last 2?
Love the dedication!! 👏🏼👏🏼
Liked and subbed! Mad respect!
Jedi! That is too cool. I definitely would have loved a Star Wars movie theater marathon!
I would’ve napped through episode 8 and 9
I don't Think I can do this crazy challenge to much TV and get very tired .I need to stretch, eat ,bathroom, get fresh air and sleep.
Jedi! WooHoo!! Yeah not sure i could sit 24hr for movie marathon. Best to attempt that in comfort of own home. Thank you!! Great job!
You’re locked in and forced to watch the sequels 😂
Great video as always, not sure we would have been able to do it. JEDI!
That’s insane to watch all 9 movies in one day.
That’s ridiculous that they didn’t give you reclining seats to start! Smart with the stool!
Jedi !!! I don’t know how you did it 😅, I would’ve definitely fallen asleep 😴😂
Jedi! I hope you got home okay!!!!
Jedi...way to troop on brotha🤙 the force is definitely with you.
Jedi!!!! A very cool video I hope you consider making would be explaining like an overview of the Star Wars characters, relationship, wars and such! I get sooooo confused with it all! Theres so many that look the same or have similar titles. But I want to understand it better. I feel like that’s something you could do and keep me interested!!
Perhaps in the future I will. Thanks for watching!
I did a triple feature when Thor 2 came out, all in 3D. Not worth the migraine for sure and to see Thor Dark World 2 days before everyone else... I don't want to talk about it XD
Way to stick it out man!!!
Hello from Cancun! Great Job! you made it! great video, specially with all the time stamps and short clips from every movie. on my way to click on your other Marathon video 😃👍
This looked like so much fun! JEDI!
You must be a real true Star wars fan if you're willing to drive from Tampa all the way to Orlando to sit down and watch nine movies in a row in theaters. Not to mention how expensive that must have been but hey man you like what I will not be strong enough if I would be honest. If I did the challenge of watching the movies I would give up after a return of the Jedi but that's just me
You are a real and I am a real Jedi
I can’t believe that big theater does not have the big reclining seats with the pull out footrests! I live in Pennsylvania and we have them here in our big theaters. And I could never sit that long for any movie! I don’t think it was safe for you and others people who went to this movie marathon to drive home after no sleep!
Jedi, good stuff
I would have been prepared with a blanket and pillow!😂😂😂 I take one for a regular movie!
I do like Return of the Jedi but Empire Strikes Back is my favorite.
