    A much easier way to gain credits is to just farm big structures in random areas that you can land at when clicking on random areas of planets. The best planets to do it on appear to be planets that have fauna and flora. Before you land at said random area, switch your difficulty to very hard. All the loot rolls will be determined when whatever area actually loads (in this case, after you land and get off your ship, in other cases, before you enter a door or cave area that requires a load screen). Obviously, at Very Hard difficulty, the odds of better loot are higher.
    After landing, look around for big structures and if you don't see any fairly close in any direction, just get back in your ship and land somewhere else. The areas are all randomly generated in 5km x 5km grids, and you can't get to the next one by walking, so you'll have to keep using your ship to get to a different grid if the one you're at doesn't look good. If you do see a big structure close by after landing, switch your difficulty back to normal or very easy. This will scale the enemies to that difficulty, but they will actually keep the better loot that was generated at very hard difficulty when the area loaded in.
    I would suggest popping an "amp" aid item so you can run to that structure faster to save time, because you'll want to keep repeating this in different areas as fast as possible. If you don't have any amp items, you can purchase them from vendors. I would also suggest not bothering with a structure that only has robots. Only spend time clearing the area if there are humans there. Pick up all Epic/Legendary items/credits obviously.
    Another thing I would also suggest before starting this farm, would be to take everything from your ship inventory that you don't want to lose, and put it in the safe in your room at the Lodge on New Atlantis (the room that's past the cafeteria on the upper floor - all the way at the end of that hall, go right, and it's the first room on the right.) This will allow you to fill up your ship inventory with all the epic and legendary items from a decent while of farming.
    When you've filled up your ship inventory and your personal inventory, go somewhere that there are a lot of vendors, like New Atlantis. There will be the Trade Authority kiosk immediately near your ship when you land at the Spaceport there, as well as Jemison Mercantile up past the water fountain. Each have 5K credits. Then, you have Apex Electronics and the actual Trade Authority shop down in The Well when you take the elevator by Jemison Mercantile. Again, each have 5K credits. In the Commercial District, you have UC Distributions and Outland. Each have 5K credits. In the Residential District, you have Centaurian Arms. Same thing. You can also buy pretty much any ammo type you need here as well.
    Once any vendors are out of credits or items you need, all you need to do is sit in a chair or bench and wait 24 hours and they will have credits and most likely the items you need again, but the items aren't guaranteed every single time but they'll spawn back eventually. Also, if you have any items that are worth much more credits than any vendors on New Atlantis have, I might suggest saving them and making a trip to the Wolf System and going to The Den. There is a Trade Authority shop at this space station that has 11K credits and also buys contraband items if you have any.
    *Remember* - you can sell items at the vendors directly from your ship inventory as well, so you don't have to keep running back and forth from your ship when you're doing the selling and waiting.
    Repeat the process and you'll be rich before you know it. This will also be decent for XP as well since Very Easy enemies and Very Hard enemies give the same amount of XP when defeated. After doing this once or twice, you'll have the process down and be fairly proficient in doing it as fast as possible. Which, I would suggest doing - as fast as possible - because this farming method will likely get patched out of the game pretty quick, as I'm almost certain it's already on Bethesda's radar.
    If any of the credit amounts at vendors are incorrect, I apologize. I'm writing this based on memory from the ~26 hours I have in-game so far, but the general steps are correct regardless lol.
    Happy farming, Captain.

    For anyone struggling with the digi-pick mechanic, it shows the ring as blue instead of white if its a fit for the current ring. I thought it was super complicated at first but once I realized it pretty much gives you the answer by showing the ring as blue-compatible for the outermost ring and white-incompatible with current input. Hope this helps somebody because it was really easy to miss. I probably played for 3 solid days before realizing lol and now I fly through master locks with no problem

    You're doing the lockpicking the hard way.
    When you rotate the keys of the digipick they stay where you leave them. So if you give the slots numbers, you might rotate at one key and see it fits slots 1, 2, and 4. Then without slotting it, find another key that fits slots 3 and 5. Toggle back and forth between the keys till you're sure and you'll know that those 2 keys together will remove the outer ring and you can slot both of them and then the same to the inner ring.
    Since there's no time limit on lockpicking and no fine manual control needed, you can take your time and even rotate ALL the keys into place for all rings before you activate them in turn. (one ring at a time is a little simpler though
    It's much faster than just using the keys as you go and reloading if you get it wrong.

      Also count the number of slots. 7 slots means a 3 and a 4, 6 slots is 2 3's or a 4 and a 2. You can eliminate some combos right off the bat.

    Given that digipicks don't have a time limit there is literally no reason why you should ever not get it on the first try. You can align the various rings and if you pay attention to the lower levels you might find that it aligns with a lower level which tells you that you DON'T use it for your current level, which makes figuring out the ones you do alot easier since all picks are used once. Also they stay where you leave them, so you can literally align all of them and go, click, click, click, pop.

      I literally never have to try more than once unless I'm taking something I'm legally not suppose to.. then ill reload and try again lol

      It's because he realized that he wasted his time since the profit after registering a ship would be worth less than a random weapon one enemy would have. But after that epic display of lockpicking talent, I'm not sure what you could expect.

    1) Go into landed pirate ship

    5) Stuck on ship 😐

  • @jimmysmith2882
    @jimmysmith2882 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    You need to register the ship before you can sell it, and this usually costs about 85% of what the ship is actually worth, so it's really not worth selling them as there is very little profit in it.

  • @imwyan
    @imwyan ปีที่แล้ว +14

    Hey bud! You forgot the part of the video where you sold it.

  • @Emberheart_
    @Emberheart_ ปีที่แล้ว +2

    No. You have to register the ship before you can sell it. Registering costs 85% of what the ship sells for, giving you only a profit of 15% of what the ship value mentions. Unless there's some pirate port where you won't have to register your ship, that's not a viable way to make profit. Probably not even with maxed out commerce skills on class C ships.
