I got a 1490 on my October SAT and I want to thank you for all the math tips and tricks, they helped me a ton. The prediction videos are always amazing and help a lot.
Your tips are very helpful. With the regression on Desmos, after putting the information into the table, I hit the 4 dots with the slash on the upper-left part of the table box, and it allows you to choose which regression you would like. This saves time in typing it out. In this problem, I typed in the three given points into the table, got the equation; then I put in x = -1 and x=0 to get the values that correspond to y. I find this a bit easier because if the intersection is in sight, you can just click the vertical line, and it shows you the intersection. Then I solved for g(-1) - g(0). Thank you again for your videos and content.
I have been watching your videos ever since the first time I took the SAT ma'am. My score has improved the second time I took it. Thank you very much ma'am 🙏. You are truly an inspiration. Love and support from India.
@@StrategicTestPrep The universities I am applying to are competitive and need an SAT score of atleast 1550. Plus having over 1570 is a really nice flex. It feels like I have hit a plateau though. My scores dont seem do be budging 😔. Hopefully this changes in the coming week..
question 4 is incorrect, there is no solution to that question. desmos only approximated the function with your given points (1,25), (3,15), and did not put the function on them exactly. if you try to solve this with algebra, you need to plug each point, getting 2 different "a" values, a=11, 21. then, if you try to calculate g(-1)-g(0), you will get either 55 or 105 respectively. if anyone can prove me wrong, please do, im stressing out cuz i got 1460 on my october SAT and the november test is in a week and a half...
yo bro. this is what i did. used regression gave input of all the three points and then y1~a(x1-2)^2 + 4 (used vertex equation instead of ax1^2 + bx1 + c here it gave the graph correctly. g(-1)-g(0) = 80.
I have a question. Since the outlier is in set A doesn’t that make the mean less than B’s mean ? Let’s say both graphs had a mean of 80 before the outlier , so when the outlier is added the mean drops rather ( say drop to 72 instead of 80) but the set B remains 80 because of no outlier . I stand to be corrected.,,help me understand in case I’m thinking too extreme 😪
HI HI thank you for the video i AM AN 8TH GRADER taking it on Nov.2 2024 my goal score is a 1550-1600 on my practice tests i got a 1490 consistency so please wish me luck and can you give me free apps that might help me with the SAT please and thank you ps. this will determine my future.

I agree. She should show us how to do this question manually......
for question 7:05 why do I not get the same answer when I plug in (2,4) as a point in the regression
for question 6 I am getting 76,665,600 which is not on any answer choice
5280^2 = 27,878,400
that * 2.75 = 76,665,600
same
Yeah me too, Bluebook had a similar question too so Im assuming that I've done the correct one
im just hoping for a 1400+ SAT score
i really want to get to the university of maryland

May I add that a myriad of these question were on the psat that I took tdy👀

Is there any justification for beleiving that these specific topics are more likely to come up on the test?
where is the reading and writing section :((
is it possible for you to give us all the formulas needed in math module?
Laura, do you think it is possible to score 1500+ in just a week
It depends on where u are. Like if you are not too far, u can still get it but if you are like 1300. Just try your best and not give up
